The paper reports on the spectral photophysical characteristics of two new fluorescent PAMAM dendrimers of zero and second generation decoreted with 1,8-naphthalimide units, designed for ionic detection. The dendrimers were studied by (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR, FT-IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Their ability to detect ions has been evaluated in acetonitrile by monitoring the quenching of the fluoresence intensity. Different ions have been tested: Zn(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Cu(2+) and Fe(3+) for the purpose. The results have shown clearly that only Zn(2+) could be efficiently detected using the dendrimer of second generation. In addition, it has been shown that for both dendrimers in a acetonitrile-water solution, the fluoresence intensity is pH dependant, hence could find application as a detector of harmful pH changes in the environment.  相似文献

Eight sesquiterpene lactones, two coumarins, and two flavonoid derivatives were isolated from Tanacetum cadmeum (Boiss.) Heywood ssp. cadmeum. All compounds have been found previously in other plant species. The crystal structures of artesin and taurin are reported. Crystals of artesin (C15H22O3) belong to the monoclinic space group P21: a = 8.300(1), b = 6.304(1), c = 13.118(2) Å, = 101.836(3)°, V = 671.8(2), Z = 2, R 1 = 0.0291. Crystals of taurin belong to the monoclinic space group P21: a = 5.722(1), b = 8.279(2), c = 14.503(3) Å, = 90.025(1)° , V = 687.0(3), Z = 2, R 1 = 0.0493. An investigation of the space group indicated a monoclinic system rather than orthorhombic.  相似文献

The synthesis of 2-(substituted phenyl)-2-oxoethyl 4-(pyrimidin-2-yl)piperazin-1-carbodithiodate (A1-A24) derivatives and 2-(4-substituted thiazol-2-ylamino)-2-oxoethyl 4-(pyrimidin-2-yl)piperazin-1-carbodithiodate (B1-B14) derivatives was undertaken starting from the potassium salt of 4-(2-pyrimidinyl)piperazine dithiocarbamate. The structures of the obtained compounds were elucidated by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS spectral data, and elemental analysis. The antimicrobial activity of the thirty eight newly synthesized compounds were tested against 12 microorganism strains using the microdilution technique. Compounds 2-(4-ethoxycarbonylthiazol-2-ylamino)-2-oxoethyl 4-(pyrimidin-2-yl)piperazin-1-carbodithiodate (B12), 2-(3-fluorophenyl)-2-oxoethyl 4-(pyrimidin-2-yl)piperazin-1-carbodithiodate (A18) and 2-(3,4-difluorophenyl)-2-oxoethyl 4-(pyrimidin-2-yl)piperazin-1-carbodithiodate (A21) were determined to possess high antimicrobial activity.  相似文献

A new 4-(N-methylpiperazine)-N-allyl-1,8-naphthalimide with intense yellow-green fluorescence has been synthesized. Then it has been copolymerized with styrene and methylmetacrylate. The photophysical characteristics of the fluorescent dye and its copolymers (poly(St-co-NI) and poly(MAA-co-NI)) have been determined viewing their sensor properties for protons and transition metal cations (Cu2+, Fe3+ and Zn2+). Fluorescence enhancement is the photophysical response of the 4-(N-methylpiperazine)-N-allyl-1,8-naphthalimide to the presence of metal cations and protons, while fluorescence quenching is observed for both copolymers.  相似文献

The interaction between two bubbles coated with glass particles in the presence of a cationic surfactant (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, CTAB) was studied experimentally. The time taken for two bubbles to coalesce was determined as a function of the fractional coverage of the surface by particles. The results suggested that the coalescence time increases with the bubble surface coverage. Interestingly, it was found that although the particles did not have any physical role in film rupture at low surface coverage, they still added resistance to film drainage. For particle-loaded bubbles, the initial resistance was due to the lateral capillary interactions between particles on the interface, which hold the particles firmly together. The coalescence dynamics of bubbles was also observed to be affected by the presence of attached particles.  相似文献

A series of 3,3-dimethyl-3Hbenzothieno[3,2-f][1]-benzopyran analogues modified at the pyran 1,2-double bond were synthesized. The corresponding dihydro and (+/-)-cis-diol derivatives were converted into diacetate and cyclic carbonate upon acylation. A series of N‐(5‐methyl‐2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐(2/3/4/5‐substituted)‐benzaldimines ( I – XIII ) were synthesized using appropriate synthetic route. Their structures were characterized by FT‐IR, UV‐Visible, ESI‐MS, 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR spectroscopic techniques and analytical methods. The crystal structure of N‐(5‐methyl‐2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐3,4‐dimethoxybenzaldimine ( XIII ) was determined by X‐ray diffraction at room temperature. Relationship between the melting points and the structures of the compounds were examined. Antibacterial activities of the compounds were evaluated against Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Proteus mirabilis. Antifungal activities were reported for Candida albicans. Some of the Schiff bases showed considerable antimicrobial activity against S. aureus and C. albicans.  相似文献

A novel copolymer with moieties capable of charge transport and light emission on the basis of polyvinylcarbazole and 1,8-naphthalimide is synthesized. A bright and stable electroluminescence from single layered structure is observed. White light emission can be easily realized by tuning the content of naphthalimide moieties or a number of naphthalimide derivatives. Such approach can be considered as a common way to create single layered light-emitting devices with a stable white emission.  相似文献
