Acetylenchemie. 9. Mitt. Anellierte imidazole aus N-propinylamid-vorstufen

The Compound 2-(N-Formyl-N-prop-2′-inyl)aminopyridine was cyclised in boiling formic acid to 3-methylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine, with 3-methylene-2H-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine as the intermediate. Under similar conditions the 1,3-diprop-2-inylpyrimido[4,5-b]quinoline-2,4-dione resulted from 1-methylimidazo[1,2-a]quinoline-4-carbonic acid-N-2-prop-2′-inylamide and from the 1-prop-2′-inylbenzo[b][1,8]naphthyridin-2-one the 1-methylbenzo[b]imidazo[1,2,3-ij]naphthyridine-4,7-dione as a new ring system, was obtained.     

Experimental upper limits for hadronic and axion decays of the γ(1S)

A search for the decays γ→ρπ, γ→J/ψX and γ→γa (whereX is undetermined and a is an axion) has been completed using the LENA detector at the DORIS storage ring. No evidence for any of these processes was found. For these decay modes we set branching fraction upper limits (90% C.L.) of 2.1×10^?3, 2.0×10^?2 and 9.1×10^?4, respectively.     

Messung des Photoprotonenspektrums aus C12 mit einem Halbleiterdetektor

The photoproton spectrum from C¹², irradiated with 31 MeV bremsstrahlung, was measured with an average resolution of 130 keV using a solid state detector. No essential difference to spectra obtained with other methods was found.     

Bidentate Phosphanyl- and Arsanylboranes

A new class of neutral bidentate ligands with pnictogenyl-functional sites has been obtained. The reaction of tmeda⋅(BH₂I)₂ ( 1 , tmeda=tetramethylethylendiamine) with different phosphanides yields the corresponding bidentate phosphanylboranes tmeda⋅(BH₂PH₂)₂ ( 2 a ), tmeda⋅(BH₂PPh₂)₂ ( 2 b ), and tmeda⋅(BH₂tBuPH)₂ ( 2 c ). This reaction strategy could be further extended to synthesize the first bidentate arsanylborane tmeda⋅(BH₂AsPh₂)₂ ( 3 ). Depending on the substituents on the phosphorus, these compounds form different Au^I complexes, to build either polymeric tmeda⋅(BH₂PH₂AuCl)₂ ( 4 a ), or monomeric tmeda⋅(BH₂PPh₂AuCl)₂ ( 4 b ) products. These compounds form also neutral oligomeric group 13/15 chain-like molecules by coordination to a boron moiety such as tmeda⋅(BH₂PH₂BH₃)₂ ( 5 a ) and tmeda⋅(BH₂AsPh₂BH₃)₂ ( 5 b ). DFT calculations provide insight into the differences between the syntheses of mono- and bidentate pnictogenylboranes.
