Synthesis and Structure of K3N Two phases in the binary system K/N have been obtained via co‐deposition of potassium and nitrogen onto polished sapphire at 77 K and subsequent heating to room temperature. The powder diffraction pattern of one of these phases can be satisfactorily interpreted by assuming the composition K3N, and the anti‐TiI3 structure‐type, which is also adopted by Cs3O. The resulting hexagonal lattice constants are: a = 779.8(2), c = 759.2(9) pm, Z = 2, P63/mcm. Comparison with possible structures of K3N generated by computational methods and refined at Hartree‐Fock‐ and DFT level, reveals that the energetically most favoured structure has not formed (presumable Li3P‐type), but instead one of those with very low density. In this respect, the findings for K3N are analogous to the results on Na3N. The thermal evolution of the deposited starting mixture has been investigated. Hexagonal K3N transforms to another K/N phase at 233 K. Its XRD can be fully indexed resulting in an orthorhombic cell a = 1163, b = 596, c = 718 pm. Decomposition leaving elemental potassium as the only residue occurs at 263 K. 相似文献

The effect of the shear flow on the thickness change of a polyelectrolyte membrane grafted onto a glass substrate was directly investigated with a flow cell combined with a confocal laser scanning microscope. The membrane thickness decreased proportionally to an increase in the shear stress of the flow when the shear rate exceeded a critical value of 1 s?1. The higher the ionic strength was of the fluid, the greater the thinning effect was. The correlation between the critical shear rate and the relaxation of the polymer in the gel membrane was examined. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Theodor Kaluza (1885–1954) attracted the attention of the physical community since 1921 with his unified field theory of gravitation and electromagnetism in five dimensions. Despite Einstein's great interest in Kaluza's theory, 50 years elapsed before it contributed toward a paradigm shift in modern theoretical physics. The biography of this still unknown scientist is briefly presented along with an outline of his work in physics. A short history of the theories of unification and the dimensionality of space‐time is followed by a discussion of the significance of Kaluza's five‐dimensional unified theory in modern physics from the point of view of superstring and M‐theory. 相似文献

Within the framework of a piecewise homogeneous body model, with the use of exact three-dimensional equations of elasticity theory for anisotropic bodies, a method is developed for investigating the stress distribution in an infinite elastic matrix containing a periodically curved row of cophasal fibers. It is assumed that fiber materials are the same and fiber midlines lie in the same plane. The self-balanced stresses arising in the interphase in uniaxial loading the composite along the fibers are investigated. The influences of problem parameters on these stresses are analyzed. The magnetic structure and ordering temperatures of three intermetallic compounds which crystallize in the tetragonal ThCr2Si2 structure, TbCr2Si2, HoCr2Si2 and ErCr2Si2, have been determined by neutron diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry and magnetization measurements. The Cr-sublattice orders anti-ferromagnetically with Néel temperatures of 758 K for TbCr2Si2, 718 K for HoCr2Si2 and 692 K for ErCr2Si2. Chromium atoms located at 4d crystallographic sites are aligned anti-parallel along the c-axis, with GZCr magnetic modes. In contrast with metallic bcc Cr, the refined room temperature value of the ordered Cr moment is anomalously large for all three compounds. No long range magnetic order of the R sublattice in TbCr2Si2 and HoCr2Si2 is observed, whilst the Er sublattice in ErCr2Si2 orders independently of the Cr sublattice below 2.4 K with moments ferromagnetically aligned in the basal plane.Received: 4 November 2003, Published online: 30 January 2004PACS:

)-medianoid on networks introduced by Hakimi (1983) is studied. In this extension the customer considers not only the distance
but some characteristics of the facilities such as store size, quality of service and parking space. A new firm wants to establishr new facilities which have to compete with thep facilities that already exist in the market. The entry firm wants to find their locations and characteristics to maximize
profits. Three different customer choice rules (binary, partially binary and proportional preferences) are considered. Some
discretization results are obtained and a resolution procedure is proposed. The problem is solved combining a global search
algorithm based on a branch and bound procedure with some combinatorial heuristics (greedy, interchange, and tabu search).
Some computational experiences are presented.

The dependence of photoluminescence spectra of structures with GeSi/Si(0 0 1) self-assembled nanoislands on growth temperature has been investigated. It was shown that the redshift of the island-related photoluminescence peak with a decrease of the growth temperature is associated with suppression of Si diffusion in the islands and an increase of Ge content in them. For the first time a photoluminescence signal from SiGe islands was observed at energies much lower than the Ge band gap. The energy position of the island-related photoluminescence peak is well described by the model of optical transition, which is indirect in real space. The photoluminescence signal at 1.55 μm from GeSi/Si(0 0 1) self-assembled islands was obtained up to room temperature. 相似文献
