An organic-inorganic hybrid support has been synthesized by covalently anchoring an N-octyldihydroimidazolium cation fragment onto SiO2 (denoted as 1-SiO2). This modified support was characterized by solid-state 13C, 29Si, and 31P NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. The results showed that the structure of the dihydroimidazolium skeleton is preserved on the surface of SiO2. The modified support can act as a good anion exchanger, which allows the catalytically active polyoxometalate anion [gamma-1,2-H2SiV2W10O40]4- (I) to be immobilized onto the support by a stoichiometric anion exchange (denoted as I/1-SiO2). The structure of anion I is preserved after the anion exchange, as confirmed by IR and 51V NMR spectroscopy. The catalytic performance for the oxidation of olefins and sulfides, with hydrogen peroxide (only one equivalent with respect to substrate) as the sole oxidant, was investigated with I/1-SiO2. This supported catalyst shows a high stereospecificity, diastereoselectivity, regioselectivity, and a high efficiency of hydrogen peroxide utilization for the oxidation of various olefins and sulfides without any loss of the intrinsic catalytic nature of the corresponding homogeneous analogue of I (i.e., the tetra-n-butylammonium salt of I, TBA-I), although the rates decreased to about half that with TBA-I. The oxidation can be stopped immediately by removal of the solid catalyst, and vanadium and tungsten species can hardly be found in the filtrate after removal of the catalyst. These results rule out any contribution to the observed catalysis from vanadium and tungsten species that leach into the reaction solution, which means that the observed catalysis is truly heterogeneous in nature. In addition, the catalyst is reusable for both epoxidation and sulfoxidation without any loss of catalytic performance.  相似文献

Structure and properties of silicon-silicon doubly bonded compounds (disilenes) are shown to be remarkably different from those of alkenes. X-Ray structural analysis of a series of acyclic tetrakis(trialkylsilyl)disilenes has shown that the geometry of these disilenes is quite flexible, and planar, twist or trans-bent depending on the bulkiness and shape of the trialkylsilyl substituents. Thermal and photochemical interconversion between a cyclotetrasilene and the corresponding bicyclo[1.1.0]tetrasilane occurs via either 1,2-silyl migration or a concerted electrocyclic reaction depending on the ring substituents without intermediacy of the corresponding tetrasila-1,3-diene. Theoretical and spectroscopic studies of a stable spiropentasiladiene have revealed a unique feature of the spiroconjugation in this system. Starting with a stable dialkylsilylene, a number of elaborated disilenes including trisilaallene and its germanium congeners are synthesized. Unlike carbon allenes, the trisilaallene has remarkably bent and fluxional geometry, suggesting the importance of the π-σ* orbital mixing. 14-Electron three-coordinate disilene-palladium complexes are found to have much stronger π-complex character than related 16-electron tetracoordinate complexes.  相似文献

Eight N-acetylglucosamine-1-phosphate and N-acetylgalactosamine-1-phosphate analogs have been synthesized chemically and were tested for their recognition by the GlmU uridyltransferase enzyme. Among these, only substrates that have an amide linkage to the C-2 nitrogen were transferred by GlmU to afford their corresponding uridine diphosphate(UDP)-sugar nucleotides. Resin-immobilized GlmU showed comparable activity to nonimmobilized GlmU and provides a more facile final step in the synthesis of an unnatural UDP-donor. The synthesized unnatural UDP-donors were tested for their activity as substrates for glycosyltransferases in the preparation of unnatural glycosaminoglycans in vitro. A subset of these analogs was useful as donors, increasing the synthetic repertoire for these medically important polysaccharides.  相似文献

Vertical electronic transition energies of diaminosilylenes and their dimers (disilenes and nitrogen‐bridged) were investigated by ab initio and density functional calculations. A good linear correlation was found between the observed UV transition energies of various silylenes and disilenes and those of model compounds calculated using the CIS and TD–DFT methods. On the basis of these computations the experimental UV absorption maximum observed for the dimer of (i‐Pr2N)2Si: (λmax 439 nm at 77 K), could be assigned to an Si? Si bonded dimer with an unusually long Si? Si distance of 2.472 Å, and the isomeric amino‐bridged cyclic dimer could be discarded. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Perphenylcyclopolysilanes [Si(C6H5)2]n (n = 4, 5) are reduced by potassium to radical anions. Their simple ESR spectra demonstrate, that the extra electron is confined to the inner SinC2n skeleton of the uncleaved and presumably planarized cyclopolysilanes.  相似文献

In the photochemical denitrogenation of 1,4‐diaryl‐2,3‐diazabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane ( AZ6 ) bearing sterically hindered substituents, a curious new absorption band at about 450 nm was observed under low‐temperature matrix conditions, together with the previously well‐characterized planar singlet diradical pl‐1 DR6 with λmax=≈580 nm. The 450 nm species was electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR)‐silent. Instead of generating the planar diradical pl‐1 DR6 and the precursor azoalkane AZ6 upon warming, the ring‐closed bicyclo[2.1.0]pentane derivative SB6 , that is, the AZ6 denitrogenation product was identified. Based on product analysis, low‐temperature spectroscopic observations, high‐level quantum‐mechanical computations, viscosity effect, and laser‐flash photolysis, the puckered singlet diradicaloid puc‐1 DR6 was assigned to the new 450 nm absorption. The latter was detected experimentally at the same time as the planar singlet diradical pl‐1 DR6 . Sterically demanding substituents as well as viscosity impediments were essential for the detection of the experimentally hitherto unknown puckered singlet cyclopentane‐1,3‐diyl diradicaloid puc‐1 DR6 , that is, the third isomer in homolysis. The present findings should stimulate future work on the mechanistically fascinating stereoselectivity documented in the formation of bicyclo[2.1.0]pentanes during the 2,3‐diazabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane denitrogenation.  相似文献

A layered nanocomposite with poly(diallyldimethylammonium), PDDA, intercalated between manganese oxide layers can be formed on a platinum electrode in a thin film form through a direct electrochemical route. The solution polyesterification of dicarboxylic acids in pyridine, the activated intermediates of which were difficult to dissolve in tosyl chloride/dimethylformamide/pyridine, was investigated in the presence of lithium chloride. The solubility of the activated dicarboxylic acids was largely improved by the presence of the salt, and the polycondensation with bisphenols was greatly facilitated. The salt was more effectively added to a pyridine solution of dicarboxylic acids than to the activated dicarboxylic acids in pyridine. The favorable additive effect on the improved solubility was attributed to a lowered degree of association of the activated dicarboxylic acids, which led to distributions of the resulting oligomers from bisphenols at an earlier stage closer to the theoretical ones and yielded better polycondensation results. The reaction, which proceeded through favorable distributions of the co‐oligomers, produced copolymers of higher inherent viscosities and slightly block sequence distributions determined by NMR. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
