A nonlinear evolution equation of second order with damping is studied. The quasilinear damping term is monotone and coercive but exhibits anisotropic and nonpolynomial growth. The appropriate setting for such equations is that of monotone operators in Orlicz spaces. Global existence of solutions in the sense of distributions is shown via convergence of the backward Euler scheme combined with an internal approximation. The synthesis of a new chromogenic N,N-phenyltetrazole receptor is reported here. The cationbinding properties of this receptor in solution were investigated by naked-eye colour change, electrochemical methods and UV-Vis spectroscopy in various solvents (CH3CN, dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO), DMSO/H2O, CH3CN/H2O and CH3CN/MeOH). In addition, the receptor was used as a sensing material in ion-selective membrane electrodes. The selectivity and sensitivity of these electrodes towards alkali, alkali-earth, transition and heavy metal cations in aqueous solution were tested. The relation between the carrier structure and membrane plasticisers was investigated.  相似文献

The design and construction of nanoreactors are important for biomedical applications of enzymes, but lipid‐ and polymeric‐vesicle‐based nanoreactors have some practical limitations. We have succeeded in preparing enzyme‐loaded polyion complex vesicles (PICsomes) through a facile protein‐loading method. The preservation of enzyme activity was confirmed even after cross‐linking of the PICsomes. The cross‐linked β‐galactosidase‐loaded PICsomes (β‐gal@PICsomes) selectively accumulated in the tumor tissue of mice. Moreover, a model prodrug, HMDER‐βGal, was successfully converted into a highly fluorescent product, HMDER, at the tumor site, even 4 days after administration of the β‐gal@PICsomes. Intravital confocal microscopy showed continuous production of HMDER and its distribution throughout the tumor tissues. Thus, enzyme‐loaded PICsomes are useful for prodrug activation at the tumor site and could be a versatile platform for enzyme delivery in enzyme prodrug therapy.  相似文献

Although both cis-diamminedichloroplatinum(II) (cisplatin or cis-DDP) and trans-diamminedichloroplatinum(II) bind to DNA, only cis-DDP is widely used as a chemotherapeutic agent; the stereoisomer trans-DDP is inactive. DNA, generally, is wound around the histone core in the nucleus of living cells and forms the nucleosome structure. To understand the essentially different anticancer activities of cis-DDP and trans-DDP, it is necessary to investigate the interaction of cis-DDP (or trans-DDP) with DNA around the histone in the nucleosome. Here, we used psiX174DNA-histone(LNCaP) complexes prepared by the reaction of psiX174DNA with histone(LNCaP) extracted from LNCaP cells. We first show that the ability of cis-DDP to dissociate the DNA from psiX174DNA-histone(LNCaP), as a nucleosome model, is much stronger than that of trans-DDP. As a result of the action of cis-DDP, the DNA in the nucleosome is rendered naked, and the naked DNA is vulnerable to cis-DDP (or other drugs). This study describes a new model showing that the difference in the activities of cis-DDP and trans-DDP is related to the difference in their abilities to dissociate the DNA from the nucleosome.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] Allyl and propargyl ethers were effectively deallylated or depropargylated to the parent alcohols via a C-O bond cleavage catalyzed by a low-valent titanium reagent (LVT), Ti(O-i-Pr)4/TMSCl/Mg or Ti(O-i-Pr)4/MgBr2/Mg, under mild reaction conditions. Differentiation between the allyl and propargyl ethers was achieved by the reaction in the presence of AcOEt as an additive. The paper describes a new procedure for the determination of boiling point distribution of high‐boiling petroleum fractions using size‐exclusion chromatography with refractive index detection. Thus far, the determination of boiling range distribution by chromatography has been accomplished using simulated distillation with gas chromatography with flame ionization detection. This study revealed that in spite of substantial differences in the separation mechanism and the detection mode, the size‐exclusion chromatography technique yields similar results for the determination of boiling point distribution compared with simulated distillation and novel empty column gas chromatography. The developed procedure using size‐exclusion chromatography has a substantial applicability, especially for the determination of exact final boiling point values for high‐boiling mixtures, for which a standard high‐temperature simulated distillation would have to be used. In this case, the precision of final boiling point determination is low due to the high final temperatures of the gas chromatograph oven and an insufficient thermal stability of both the gas chromatography stationary phase and the sample. Additionally, the use of high‐performance liquid chromatography detectors more sensitive than refractive index detection allows a lower detection limit for high‐molar‐mass aromatic compounds, and thus increases the sensitivity of final boiling point determination.  相似文献

Two covalent organic frameworks comprising Lewis basic PIII centers and Lewis acidic boron atoms were prepared by poly-condensation reactions of newly obtained tris(4-diisopropoxyborylphenyl)phosphine with 2,3,6,7,10,11-hexahydroxytriphenylene and 2,3,6,7-tetrahydroxy-9,10-dimethylanthracene. Obtained materials exhibit significant sorption of dihydrogen (100 cm3 g−1 at 1 bar at 77 K), methane (20 cm3 g−1 at 1 bar at 273 K) and carbon dioxide (50 cm3 g−1 at 1 bar at 273 K). They were exploited as solid-state ligands for coordination of Pd0 centers. Alternatively, in a bottom-up approach, boronated phosphine was treated with Pd2dba3 and poly-condensated, yielding hybrid materials where the polymer networks are formed by means of covalent boronate linkages and coordination P−Pd bonds. In addition, the analogous materials based on phosphine oxide were synthesized. The DFT calculations on framework–guest interactions revealed that the behavior of adjacent boron and phosphorus/phosphine oxide centers is reminiscent of that found in Frustrated Lewis Pairs and may improve sorption of selected molecules.  相似文献
