The reaction potential map (RPM) method has been extended so that the molecular reactivity towards nucleophiles can be analyzed. An anion consisting of the nucleus with + 1 charge and a pair of electrons was adopted as the model nucleophile. From the interaction energy between a substrate and this model particle, RPM and its component maps were obtained. With respect to practical applications, the reactivities of acrylic acid and acrylonitrile towards nucleophiles were examined. In these molecules, the exchange interaction as well as the charge-transfer interaction were found to be very important in the elucidation of the observed site selectivity.  相似文献

New o-xylylene-linked bis(benzimidazolium) salts were synthesized in six-steps from C2-symmetric chiral 1,4-diol, 1,2-bis(1-hydroxypropyl)benzene, as a starting material. The silver complex of bis(benzimidazol-2-ylidene) was obtained on treatment of bis(benzimidazolium) salt with silver oxide. The reaction of the silver bis-NHC with [PdCl2(PhCN)2] afforded the bis-NHC complex of palladium. The X-ray diffraction studies on Pd complexes revealed that these complexes have distorted square planar geometry around the Pd center coordinating the NHC ligand in mutually cis-position. The arene ring of o-xylylene unit hanged over the Pd center and thus these complexes showed C1-symmetric structures. The variable temperature NMR spectroscopy revealed that these Pd complexes showed fluxional behavior between C1- and C2-symmetric structures in solution state.  相似文献

Metal cluster compounds are expected to be catalysts for new reactions because of synergistic effect of the metal atoms. In solid-state halide clusters and sulfide clusters, metal cluster frameworks are linked in two- or three-dimensions to form a cluster network. Halogen- or sulfur-deficient metal sites in an octahedral metal cluster framework are retained intact and act as catalytically active sites even at high temperatures of 400–700?°C. This review reports recent advances in the development of coordinatively unsaturated metal atoms on solid-state clusters with an octahedral metal framework and their application to organic catalytic reactions.  相似文献

It's all the hype: An oxidative dimerization reaction of aromatic amines utilizing tert-butyl hypoiodite (tBuOI) under mild reaction conditions leads to aromatic azo compounds. An artificial tongue that detects astringent components for a comprehensive evaluation of taste has not been established to date. Herein, we first propose fluorescent polythiophene (PT) derivatives ( S1 – S3 ) modified with 3-pyridinium boronic acid as supramolecular chemosensors for wine components including astringent procyanidin C1. After numerous attempts for the synthetic conditions, more than 95 mol % of the PT unit was modified with the pyridinium boronic acid moiety. To evaluate the PT derivatives as chemosensors of the artificial tongue, qualitative and quantitative analyses were performed with four types of wine components (i.e., sweet, sour, bitter, and astringent tastes) in combination with pattern recognition models. Notably, procyanidin C1 in the actual wine sample was successfully detected in a quantitative manner. In other words, we have established an authentic artificial tongue using PT based supramolecular chemosensors.  相似文献

The local crystal structure of dried and deuterated nano-manganese-oxide powder samples was studied via atomic pair distribution function analysis of X-ray and neutron powder diffraction data. The protonated sample shows ultrahigh efficiency as a gold adsorbent even from ppt-level aqueous solutions such as seawater. We show that the nano-manganese-oxide particles have an R-MnO2-type local crystal structure. The possible role of the protons on the surface of the nano-particles is discussed.  相似文献

Abstract  

Droplets impinging on a hot surface that is near the Leidenfrost temperature were experimentally investigated. Ejection of jets from the top of the droplet was observed during the transient interaction between the droplet and a hot wall. We term this phenomenon jet ejection from droplets. When the bottom of the droplet initially impacts the hot surface, a jet is to be ejected from the top of the droplet. The jet ejection occurred only at low impact velocities and around the wetting limit temperature. It was not observed when droplets were dropped from large heights or when the surface was at a high temperature.  相似文献

A new preconcentration method with yeast is presented. The method was evaluated for the determination of trace silver in river waters by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS). A suitable cultivation bed for preconcentration of silver was 1.75 mg ml-1 2-ammonium hydrogen phosphate. The optimal cultivation time and temperature were 2 h and 25 degrees C. Under optimal conditions, silver in aqueous sample was concentrated to 6.9-fold by yeast. The detection limit was 4.6 pg ml-1 (3S/N) for silver in river water. The yeast preconcentration method was applied to the determination of silver in river waters. The recovery of spiked silver was in the range of 89 to 110%. By the preconcentration, it was found that ultra trace silver in river waters could be determined without interferences of matrix elements, after only the cultivation and with no chemical treatment.  相似文献
