We report the first experimental measurements of the effect of an applied field on the photoexcitation and autoionization of doubly excited states of helium. Ground-state photoionization spectra have been measured in the region below the He+(N=2) threshold with static electric fields of up to 84.4 kV/cm across the interaction region. The results are compared to the theoretical calculations of Chung et al. [J. Phys. B 34, 165 (2001)]], which are the only calculations available in this regime. Transitions to several states in the N=2, n=6 manifold are assigned, and a wealth of new structure is observed. Our data show that many more series are mixed in by the field than those predicted by theory.  相似文献

Novel biomimetic, aerobic oxidation with an organocatalyst was performed. The oxidations of organic substrates such as sulfides, secondary amines, N-hydroxylamines, and tertiary amines with molecular oxygen (1 atm) or even in air in the presence of 5-ethyl-3-methyllumiflavinium perchlorate catalyst and hydrazine monohydrate in 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol occur highly efficiently to give the corresponding oxidized compounds in excellent yields along with water and molecular nitrogen, which are environmentally benign. The TON of the oxidation of sulfides amounts to 19 000.  相似文献

In the present contribution, we demonstrated that surface-enhanced resonance Raman scattering spectra from single green fluorescent proteins (GFPs) were obtained. The most important findings are the direct detection of the conversion between a deprotonated and a protonated form of the chromophore at the single-molecule level via the corresponding vibrational fingerprints, and the fact that the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) also shows a high surface enhanced resonance Raman scattering (SERRS) signal. Our findings show the potential of the technique to study structural dynamics of protein molecules at a single-molecule level.  相似文献

In the presence of a catalytic amount of Cp*RuCl(cod), 1,6-diynes were allowed to react chemo- and regioselectively with electron-deficient nitriles and heterocumulenes at 60-90 degrees C to afford heterocyclic compounds. The mechanism of the ruthenium-catalyzed regioselective formations of bicyclic pyridines and pyridones were analyzed on the basis of density functional calculations. Cyclocotrimerizations of ethyl propiolate with ethyl cyanoformate or propyl isocyanate gave rise to two of the four possible pyridine or pyridone regioisomers.  相似文献

This study has successfully demonstrated that the cooperative action of artificial receptors with semi-wet supramolecular hydrogels may produce a unique and efficient molecular recognition device not only for the simple sensing of phosphate derivatives, but also for discriminating among phosphate derivatives. We directly observed by confocal laser scanning microscopy that fluorescent artificial receptors can dynamically change the location between the aqueous cavity and the hydrophobic fibers upon guest-binding under semi-wet conditions provided by the supramolecular hydrogel. On the basis of such a guest-dependent dynamic redistribution of the receptor molecules, a sophisticated means for molecular recognition of phosphate derivatives can be rationally designed in the hydrogel matrix. That is, the elaborate utilization of the hydrophobic fibrous domains, as well as the water-rich hydrophilic cavities, enables us to establish three distinct signal transduction modes for phosphate sensing: the use of (i) a photoinduced electron transfer type of chemosensor, (ii) an environmentally sensitive probe, and (iii) an artificial receptor displaying a fluorescence resonance energy transfer type of fluorescent signal change. Thus, one can selectively sense and discriminate the various phosphate derivatives, such as phosphate, phospho-tyrosine, phenyl phosphate, and adenosine triphosphate, using a fluorescence wavelength shift and a seesaw type of ratiometric fluorescence change, as well as a simple fluorescence intensity change. It is also shown that an array of the miniaturized hydrogel is promising for the rapid and high-throughput sensing of these phosphate derivatives.  相似文献

FK888 (NK1 antagonist) is a candidate drug for migraine and selected as a model of amorphous drug. FK888 was micronized to develop as dry powder inhalers (DPIs) taking into consideration of its water insoluble property. The glass transition temperature (Tg) and fragility (m) were 90 degrees C and 118, respectively, and it was categorized as a fragile glass based on Angell's concept. FK888 was structurally relaxed by aging below Tg, then the effect of aging on their physical and aerosol properties were investigated. The investigation on the moisture sorption-desorption isotherms of FK888 indicated that aged FK888 adsorbed less amount of water than that of unaged FK888. This unique moisture sorption-desorption behavior of the aged sample is explained by structural relaxation accompanying decrease of free volume and/or increase of density. As for the dissolution rate of unaged and aged FK888, they showed the similar value, suggesting that there would be no difference in bioavailability. In relation to the stability, FK888 DPIs prepared by unaged and aged FK888 were stored at 70 degrees C, and the respirable fraction of FK888 DPIs was evaluated by using multistage cascade impactor (USP apparatus 3). As a result, the respirable fraction of FK888 DPIs prepared by unaged sample was significantly decreased compared to the aged sample, suggesting that agglomeration may occur in the unaged sample during the storage. This phenomenon was supported by that the unaged sample showed a significant decrease in the surface area compared to that of the aged sample when stored at various conditions.  相似文献

We report enhancement of electroluminescence through opaque-topped metal cathodes in organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs), which are periodically corrugated in two dimensions. The enhancement is caused by grating-induced cross coupling and outcoupling of surface plasmons. The emission intensity observed at normal direction is enhanced by a factor of 4 compared with that of OLEDs with one-dimensionally corrugated metal cathodes and is higher than that observed from the transparent substrate side in uncorrugated OLEDs. We attribute the enhancement to the fact that the surface plasmons propagating in all lateral directions are coupled out into free space by the two-dimensional corrugated structure of the OLEDs. In addition, the emission from the transparent substrate side is also much enhanced owing to the efficient coupling out of the waveguide modes trapped in the emissive layer.  相似文献
