A highly K+‐selective two‐photon fluorescent probe for the in vitro monitoring of physiological K+ levels in the range of 1–100 mM is reported. The two‐photon excited fluorescence (TPEF) probe shows a fluorescence enhancement (FE) by a factor of about three in the presence of 160 mM K+, independently of one‐photon (OP, 430 nm) or two‐photon (TP, 860 nm) excitation and comparable K+‐induced FEs in the presence of competitive Na+ ions. The estimated dissociation constant (Kd) values in Na+‐free solutions (KdOP=(28±5) mM and KdTP=(36±6) mM ) and in combined K+/Na+ solutions (KdOP=(38±8) mM and KdTP=(46±25) mM ) reflecting the high K+/Na+ selectivity of the fluorescent probe. The TP absorption cross‐section (σ2PA) of the TPEF probe+160 mM K+ is 26 GM at 860 nm. Therefore, the TPEF probe is a suitable tool for the in vitro determination of K+. 相似文献

The growing interest in synthetic peptides has prompted the development of viable methods for their sustainable production. Currently, large amounts of toxic solvents are required for peptide assembly from protected building blocks, and switching to water as a reaction medium remains a major hurdle in peptide chemistry. We report an aqueous solid‐phase peptide synthesis strategy that is based on a water‐compatible 2,7‐disulfo‐9‐fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl (Smoc) protecting group. This approach enables peptide assembly under aqueous conditions, real‐time monitoring of building block coupling, and efficient postsynthetic purification. The procedure for the synthesis of all natural and several non‐natural Smoc‐protected amino acids is described, as well as the assembly of 22 peptide sequences and the fundamental issues of SPPS, including the protecting group strategy, coupling and cleavage efficiency, stability under aqueous conditions, and crucial side reactions. 相似文献

Novel calix[4]arene amides have been synthesized and their interaction with alkaline cations has been evaluated through extracting aqueous solutions of Li-, Na- and K-picrates with solutions of calix[4]arene amides in CH2Cl2. Electron-withdrawing groups on the upper rim of the calix[4]arene scaffold were found to have a negative effect on the absolute amount of metal ions extracted. The decreased extraction ability is accompanied by a higher selectivity towards sodium cations. 相似文献

We report on high-speed CH planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) imaging in turbulent diffusion flames using a multimode-pumped optical parametric oscillator (OPO). The OPO is pumped by the third-harmonic output of a multimode Nd:YAG cluster for direct signal excitation in the A-X (0,0) band of the CH radical. The lasing threshold, conversion efficiency, and linewidth are shown to depend on the number of pump passes in the ring cavity of the OPO. Single-shot CH PLIF images are acquired at 10 kHz with excitation energy up to 6 mJ/pulse at 431.1 nm. Signal-to-noise ratios of ~25-35 are the highest yet reported for high-speed CH PLIF. 相似文献

Hegselmann and Krause introduced a discrete-time model of opinion dynamics with agents having limit confidence. It is well known that the dynamics reaches a stable state in a polynomial number of time steps. However, the gap between the known lower and upper bounds for the worst case is still immense. This paper deals with the single-item dynamic uncapacitated lot sizing problem with random demand. We propose a model based on the “static uncertainty” strategy of Bookbinder and Tan (1988). In contrast to these authors, we use exact expressions for the inventory costs and we apply a fillrate constraint. We present an exact solution method and modify several well-known dynamic lot sizing heuristics such that they can be applied for the case of dynamic stochastic demands. A numerical experiment shows that there are significant differences in the performance of the heuristics whereat the ranking of the heuristics is different from that reported for the case of deterministic demand. 相似文献
