A review on experimental studies of surfactant adsorption at the hydrophilic solid-water interface 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
The progresses of understanding of the surfactant adsorption at the hydrophilic solid-liquid interface from extensive experimental studies are reviewed here. In this respect the kinetic and equilibrium studies involves anionic, cationic, non-ionic and mixed surfactants at the solid surface from the solution. Kinetics and equilibrium adsorption of surfactants at the solid-liquid interface depend on the nature of surfactants and the nature of the solid surface. Studies have been reported on adsorption kinetics at the solid-liquid interface primarily on the adsorption of non-ionic surfactant on silica and limited studies on cationic surfactant on silica and anionic surfactant on cotton and cellulose. The typical isotherm of surfactants in general, can be subdivided into four regions. Four-regime isotherm was mainly observed for adsorption of ionic surfactant on oppositely charged solid surface and adsorption of non-ionic surfactant on silica surface. Region IV of the adsorption isotherm is commonly a plateau region above the CMC, it may also show a maximum above the CMC. Isotherms of four different regions are discussed in detail. Influences of different parameters such as molecular structure, temperature, salt concentration that are very important in surfactant adsorption are reviewed here. Atomic force microscopy study of different surfactants show the self-assembly and mechanism of adsorption at the solid-liquid interface. Adsorption behaviour and mechanism of different mixed surfactant systems such as anionic-cationic, anionic-non-ionic and cationic-non-ionic are reviewed. Mixture of surface-active materials can show synergistic interactions, which can be manifested as enhanced surface activity, spreading, foaming, detergency and many other phenomena. 相似文献

One-pot synthetic strategy has been developed to access isoquinolines and its analogs via Cu-mediated tandem cross-coupling and cyclization in good yields under mild reaction conditions. The aim of this study was to synthesis, a radiolabeled (99mTc) new somatostatin-analogue 6-hydrazinopyridine-3-carboxylic-acid (HYNIC)-Asn3-octreotate (99mTc-HYNIC-AATE), and to evaluate as a candidate for imaging somatostatin-receptor (SSTR)-positive tumors and also compare it with 99mTc-HYNIC-Tyr3-octreotide (99mTc-HYNIC-TOC). Synthesis was performed by Fmoc-solid-phase strategy and 99mTc labeled by SnCl2. Biodistribution and imaging properties of new radiopeptide were also studied in C6 tumor bearing rat. Radiolabeling was performed at high specific activities and it showed high binding-affinity for SSTR2. In biodistribution, radiopeptides have showed high and receptor-specific uptake in the SSTR2 positive organs, tumor with rapid renal excretion from non-target tissues. These results demonstrated that 99mTc-HYNIC-AATE is a new specific radioligand for scintigraphy of somatostatin-receptor-positive tumors. 相似文献

We present herein a short tripeptide sequence (Lys–Phe–Gly or KFG) that is situated in the juxtamembrane region of the tyrosine kinase nerve growth factor (Trk NGF) receptors. KFG self‐assembles in water and shows a reversible and concentration‐dependent switching of nanostructures from nanospheres (vesicles) to nanotubes, as evidenced by dynamic light scattering, transmission electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy. The morphology change was associated with a transition in the secondary structure. The tripeptide vesicles have inner aqueous compartments and are stable at pH 7.4 but rupture rapidly at pH≈6. The pH‐sensitive response of the vesicles was exploited for the delivery of a chemotherapeutic anticancer drug, doxorubicin, which resulted in enhanced cytotoxicity for both drug‐sensitive and drug‐resistant cells. Efficient intracellular release of the drug was confirmed by fluorescence‐activated cell sorting analysis, fluorescence microscopy, and confocal microscopy. 相似文献

Boron–nitrogen dative bonds provide a suitable motif for reversible, yet strong and directed interactions, leading to the highly efficient self‐assembly of small organic building blocks into supramolecular cage structures. A bipyramidal [2+3] assembly, as the first example of a supramolecular cage mediated by B?N dative bonds that exists as a discrete species in solution, is quantitatively obtained from a tribenzotriquinacene‐based trisboronate ester and 1,4‐diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane. Thermodynamic equilibria of cage formation are investigated by isothermal titration calorimetry and fully reversible cage opening can be observed at elevated temperatures. 相似文献

The synthesis of well‐defined poly(methyl methacrylate)‐block‐poly(ethylene oxide) (PMMA‐b‐PEO) dibock copolymer through anionic polymerization using monohydroxy telechelic PMMA as macroinitiator is described. Living anionic polymerization of methyl methacrylate was performed using initiators derived from the adduct of diphenylethylene and a suitable alkyllithium, either of which contains a hydroxyl group protected with tert‐butyldimethylsilyl moiety in tetrahydrofuran (THF) at ?78 °C in the presence of LiClO4. The synthesized telechelic PMMAs had good control of molecular weight with narrow molecular weight distribution (MWD). The 1H NMR and MALDI‐TOF MS analysis confirmed quantitative functionalization of chain‐ends. Block copolymerization of ethylene oxide was carried out using the terminal hydroxyl group of PMMA as initiator in the presence of potassium counter ion in THF at 35 °C. The PMMA‐b‐PEO diblock copolymers had moderate control of molecular weight with narrow MWD. The 1H NMR results confirm the absence of trans‐esterification reaction of propagating PEO anions onto the ester pendants of PMMA. The micellation behavior of PMMA‐b‐PEO diblock copolymer was examined in water using 1H NMR and dynamic light scattering. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Applicability of Total Reflection X-ray Fluorescence (TXRF) spectrometry for the determination of trace metals at concentration of µg/g level in thorium oxide was studied. The TXRF spectrometer was calibrated using a multielement standard solution and the method was validated by analyzing another multielement standard solution. Sample preparation conditions were optimized for the TXRF determinations of trace metals in thorium oxide. The elements K, Ca, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Sr, Y, Ba and Pb present in thorium oxide standards were determined after dissolving them in HNO3/HF mixture and separating the bulk matrix, thorium, by solvent extraction using tri-n-butyl phosphate (TBP) and tri-n-octyl phosphine oxide (TOPO) as extractants. A comparison of TXRF determined concentrations of trace elements Ca, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni and Cu with the certified values shows that TXRF determined concentrations have an RSD of 20% (1 s for n = 4) and are within an agreement of 20% of the certified values in most of the cases. 相似文献

A series of dinuclear copper(II) complexes has been synthesized with the aim to investigate their applicability as potential structure and function models for the active site of catechol oxidase enzyme. They have been characterized by routine physicochemical techniques as well as by X-ray single-crystal structure analysis: [Cu 2(H 2L2 (2))(OH)(H 2O)(NO 3)](NO 3) 3.2H 2O ( 1), [Cu(HL1 (4))(H 2O)(NO 3)] 2(NO 3) 2.2H 2O ( 2), [Cu(L1 (1))(H 2O)(NO 3)] 2 ( 3), [Cu 2(L2 (3))(OH)(H 2O) 2](NO 3) 2, ( 4) and [Cu 2(L2 (1))(N 3) 3] ( 5) [L1 = 2-formyl-4-methyl-6R-iminomethyl-phenolato and L2 = 2,6-bis(R-iminomethyl)-4-methyl-phenolato; for L1 (1) and L2 (1), R = N-propylmorpholine; for L2 (2), R = N-ethylpiperazine; for L2 (3), R = N-ethylpyrrolidine, and for L1 (4), R = N-ethylmorpholine]. Dinuclear 1 and 4 possess two "end-off" compartmental ligands with exogenous mu-hydroxido and endogenous mu-phenoxido groups leading to intermetallic distances of 2.9794(15) and 2.9435(9) A, respectively; 2 and 3 are formed by two tridentate compartmental ligands where the copper centers are connected by endogenous phenoxido bridges with Cu-Cu separations of 3.0213(13) and 3.0152(15) A, respectively; 5 is built by an end-off compartmental ligand having exogenous mu-azido and endogenous mu-phenoxido groups with a Cu-Cu distance of 3.133(2) A (mean of two independent molecules). The catecholase activity of all of the complexes has been investigated in acetonitrile and methanol medium by UV-vis spectrophotometric study using 3,5-di- tert-butylcatechol (3,5-DTBC) and tetrachlorocatechol (TCC) as substrates. In acetonitrile medium, the conversion of 3,5-DTBC to 3,5-di- tert-butylbenzoquinone (3,5-DTBQ) catalyzed by 1- 5 is observed to proceed via the formation of two enzyme-substrate adducts, ES1 and ES2, detected spectroscopically for the first time. In methanol medium no such enzyme-substrate adduct has been detected, and the 3,5-DTBC to 3,5-DTBQ conversion is observed to be catalyzed by 1- 5 very efficiently. The substrate TCC forms an adduct with 2- 5 without performing further oxidation to TCQ due to the high reduction potential of TCC (in comparison with 3,5-DTBC). But most interestingly, 1 is observed to be effective even in TCC oxidation, a process never reported earlier. Kinetic experiments have been performed to determine initial rate of reactions (3,5-DTBC as substrate, in methanol medium) and the activity sequence is 1 > 5 > 2 = 4 > 3. A treatment on the basis of Michaelis-Menten model has been applied for kinetic study, suggesting that all five complexes exhibit very high turnover number, especially 1, which exhibits turnover number or K cat of 3.24 x 10 (4) (h (-1)), which is approximately 3.5 times higher than the most efficient catalyst reported to date for catecholase activity in methanol medium. 相似文献
