ZnS nanoparticles of diameters of 3–4 nm were self-assembled to form dense nanospheres of sizes 100 nm by a colloidal precipitation method using PVP as the stabilizing agent. Studies indicated that the ZnS nanoparticles maintained their individual properties inside the nanospheres. Optical absorption spectra of the samples demonstrated the effect of quantum confinement in the ZnS nanocrystals. Room temperature photoluminescence measurements showed a sharp UV emission at 370 nm, attributed to sulfur vacancies.  相似文献

Recent advances in atomically thin two-dimensional (2-D) materials have led to a variety of promising future technologies for post-CMOS nanoelectronics and energy generation. This review is an attempt to thoroughly illustrate the current status and future prospects for 2-D materials other than graphene (e.g., BN nanosheets, MoS2, NbSe2, WS2, etc.), which have already been contemplated for both low-end and high-end technological applications. An overview of the different synthesis techniques for 2-D materials is presented here, with an exploration of the potential for developing methods of controllable large scale synthesis. Furthermore, we summarize the underlying theories which correlate the structural and physical properties of 2-D materials with their state-of-the-art applications. Finally, we show that utilizing the unprecedented properties arising from these materials would lead to innovative devices. Such devices would significantly reduce both device dimensions and power consumption, as necessary for the creation of tomorrow's sustainable technology.  相似文献

Sol/gel-derived silica gel was prepared at room temperature from tetraethyl orthosilicate precursor. The extracts of Terminalia chebula (Haritoki) were entrapped into the porous silica gel. Fourier transform infrared analysis revealed the proper adsorption of herbal values in the nanopores of the silica gel. Porosity was estimated by transmission electron microscope studies. The release kinetics of the extract in both 0.1 N HCl, pH 1.2, and Phosphate-buffer saline (PBS), pH 7.2, were determined using UV–Vis spectroscopy. Different dissolution models were applied to release data in order to evaluate the release mechanisms and kinetics. Biphasic release patterns were found in every formulation for both the buffer systems. The kinetics followed a zero-order equation for first 4 h and a Higuchi expression in a subsequent timeline in the case of 0.1 N HCl. In the case of PBS, the formulations showed best linearity with a first-order equation followed by Higuchi’s model. The sustained release of the extract predominantly followed diffusion and super case II transport mechanism. The release value was always above the minimum inhibitory concentration.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to synthesis, a radiolabeled (99mTc) new somatostatin-analogue 6-hydrazinopyridine-3-carboxylic-acid (HYNIC)-Asn3-octreotate (99mTc-HYNIC-AATE), and to evaluate as a candidate for imaging somatostatin-receptor (SSTR)-positive tumors and also compare it with 99mTc-HYNIC-Tyr3-octreotide (99mTc-HYNIC-TOC). Synthesis was performed by Fmoc-solid-phase strategy and 99mTc labeled by SnCl2. Biodistribution and imaging properties of new radiopeptide were also studied in C6 tumor bearing rat. Radiolabeling was performed at high specific activities and it showed high binding-affinity for SSTR2. In biodistribution, radiopeptides have showed high and receptor-specific uptake in the SSTR2 positive organs, tumor with rapid renal excretion from non-target tissues. These results demonstrated that 99mTc-HYNIC-AATE is a new specific radioligand for scintigraphy of somatostatin-receptor-positive tumors.  相似文献
