Dynamic covalent chemistry (DCC) opens up a fascinating route for the construction of well-organized supramolecular architectures, starting from organic molecular cages to crystalline macromolecular covalent organic frameworks (COFs). Herein, for the first time, we have manifested a facile room-temperature DCC-directed transformation of discrete organic imine cage-to-COF film at the liquid–liquid interface. The unfolding of the cage leading to the generation of imine intermediates, followed by their interface-assisted preorganization and subsequent growth of the COF film, are elucidated through detailed spectroscopic and microscopic investigations. The interfacial cage-to-COF transformation provides a facile route for the faster fabrication of free-standing COF films with high porosity and crystallinity, demonstrating excellent performance towards molecular sieving and high solvent permeance. Thus, the current study opens up a new route for structural interconversion between two crystalline entities with diverse dimensionality employing DCC at the confined interface. 相似文献

Amino (NH2) radicals play a central role in the pyrolysis and oxidation of ammonia. Several reports in the literature highlight the importance of the reactions of NH2 radicals with fuel in NH3-dual-fuel combustion. Therefore, we investigated the reactions of NH2 radicals with methanol (CH3OH) and ethanol (C2H5OH) theoretically. We explored the various reaction pathways by exploiting CCSD(T)/cc-pV(T, Q)Z//M06-2X/aug-cc-pVTZ level of theory. The reaction proceeds via complex formation at the entrance and exit channels in an overall exothermic process. We used canonical transition state theory to obtain the high-pressure limiting rate coefficients for various channels over the temperature range of 300–2000 K. We discerned the role of various channels in the potential energy surface (PES) of NH2 + CH3OH/C2H5OH reactions. For both reactions, the hydrogen abstraction pathway at the OH-site of alcohols plays a minor role in the entire T-range investigated. By including the title reactions into an extensive kinetic model, we demonstrated that the reaction of NH2 radicals with alcohols plays a paramount role in accurately predicting the low-temperature oxidation kinetics of NH3-alcohols dual fuel systems (e.g., shortening the ignition delay time). On the contrary, these reactions have negligible importance for high-temperature oxidation kinetics of NH3-alcohol blends (e.g., not affecting the laminar flame speed). In addition, we calculated the rate coefficients for NH2 + CH4 = CH3 + NH3 reaction that are in excellent agreement with the experimental data. 相似文献

Nanofibrous microspheres (NFM) are emerging as prominent next-generation biomimetic injectable scaffold system for stem cell delivery and different tissue regeneration where nanofibrous topography facilitates ECM-like stem cells niches. Addition of osteogenic bioactive nanosilicate platelets within NFM can provide osteoconductive cues to facilitate matrix mediated osteogenic differentiation of stem cells and enhance the efficiency of bone tissue regeneration. In this study, gelatin nanofibrous microspheres are prepared containing fluoride-doped laponite XL21 (LP) using the emulsion mediated thermal induce phase separation (TIPS) technique. Systematic studies are performed to understand the effect of physicochemical properties of biomimicking NFM alone and with different concentrations of LP on human dental follicle stem cells (hDFSCs), their cellular attachment, proliferation, and osteogenic differentiation. The study highlights the effect of LP nanosilicate with biomimicking nanofibrous injectable scaffold system aiding in enhancing stem cell differentiation under normal physiological conditions compared to NFM without LP. The laponite–NFM shows suitability as excellent injectable biomaterials system for stem cell attachment, proliferation and osteogenic differentiation for stem cell transplantation and bone tissue regeneration. 相似文献

Photocatalysts capable of harvesting a broad range of the solar spectrum are essential for sustainable chemical transformations and environmental remediation. Herein, we have integrated NIR-absorbing upconversion nanoparticles (UCNP) with UV-Vis absorbing conjugated porous organic polymer (POP) through the in situ multicomponent C−C coupling to fabricate a UC−POP nanocomposite. The light-harvesting ability of UC−POP is further augmented by loading plasmonic gold nanoparticles (AuNP) into UC−POP. A three-times enhancement in the upconversion luminescence is observed upon the incorporation of AuNP in UC−POP, subsequently boosting the photocatalytic activity of UC−POP−Au. The spectroscopic and photoelectrochemical investigations infer the enhanced photocatalytic oxidation of thioethers, including mustard gas simulant by UC−POP−Au compared to POP and UC−POP due to the facile electron-hole pair generation, suppressed exciton recombination, and efficient charge carrier migration. Thus, the unique design strategy of combining plasmonic and upconversion nanoparticles with a conjugated porous organic polymer opens up new vistas towards artificial light harvesting. 相似文献
