When chalcopyrite is heated in air, up to 350? there is no marked change. Between 350 and 440?, surface material is oxidised to iron sulphate, CuSO4 and Fe2O3, while in regions not accessible to oxygen the formation of Cu5FeS4, FeS and S takes place. From 440 to 500? oxidation and sulphation phenomena occur. Stable compounds between 500 and 650? are iron sulphate, CuSO4 and Fe4O3, with a minor amount of 6CuO.Cu2O indicated at 650?. After the decomposition of iron sulphate, CuSO4 decomposes, first to CuO.CuSO4 and then to CuO. By 750? the sulphur has been totally lost from all compounds, while the oxides of copper and iron partly react to form CuFe2O4. Final products of oxidation between 800 and 850? are CuO, CuFe2O4 and Fe3O4.  相似文献

Two iodometric procedures have been described for the microdetermination of certain organic acids which can be adopted for evaluating 0.03–0.1 meq of these acids. These methods consist of treating the acid sample with an excess of neutral potassium iodide and iodate. In the indirect method the iodate used up is measured whereas the direct procedure is based on the titration of the liberated iodine. The latter procedure has been applied to determine acids in a water-alcohol medium also. The effect of various factors influencing the stoichiometry of the reactions involved has also been studied.  相似文献

Complexes of the types (C5H5)2TiClL, (C5H5)TiClL2 and [(C5H4)TiL2]2 (L is a monofunctional bidentate ligand) have been made by reactions of titanocene dichioride with the substituted pyrazolones, RCOC:C(OH)N(C6H5)N:CCH3 (where R = CH3, C2H6, C6H5 and p-ClC6H4) in the presence of triethylamine in refluxing THF. A possible mechanism for the formation of [(C5H4)TiL2]2 is suggested.  相似文献

Potentiometric and conductometric studies on the zinc, cadmium, lead—methylene bis thio acetic acid system in aqueous media reveal the formation of 1:1 and 1:2 (M:L) complexes in thepH range 3.4–5.1. Their stability constants have been determined at 20°, 30° and 40 °C by applyingCalvin andMelchior's extension ofBjerrum's method. The overall changes in thermodynamic function H, G and S accompanying complexation have been evaluated at 30 °C.

Zusammenfassung Potentiometrische und konduktometrische Untersuchungen an Zink-, Cadmium- und Blei-Methylen-bis-thioessigsäure-Systemen in wäßrigem Medium zeigten die Bildung von 1:1 und 1:2 (M:L)-Komplexen impH-Bereich 3,4–5,1. Die Stabilitätskonstanten wurden bei 20°, 30° und 40 °C mittels derCalvin-Melchior-Methode (erweiterteBjerrum-Methode) bestimmt. Die thermodynamischen Parameter H, G und S der Komplexierung wurden für 30 °C ermittelt.

The synthesis of two new Huperzine A analogues is reported. Both products present an amino substituted benzo-fused system in place of the pyridone ring of the natural alkaloid. The kinetics of oxidation of three aldoses (glucose, mannose and galactose) byN-bromoacetamide (NBA) in the presence of an alkaline solution of RuO4 as catalyst and Hg(OAc)2 as co-catalyst and as a scavenger for bromide have been investigated. The main products of the oxidation are the corresponding aldonic acids. The reaction is zero order with respect to aldose and OH. First order dependence of the reaction on both NBA and RuO4 at low concentrations shifts to zero order at higher concentrations. Addition of acetamide decreases the reaction rate, while addition of Hg(OAc)2 has the opposite effect. No significant effect of ionic strength was observed. OBr is postulated as the reactive oxidising species and a mechanism involving co-catalysis by RuO4 and HgII is proposed. TMC 2588  相似文献
