In order to estimate the damage densities produced by γ-rays to Makrofol-N and Makrofol-KG, some structural, optical and etching studies have been performed. It is found that both polymers are insensitive to low γ-doses (up to 103 krad) but are influenced at higher doses. The changes in etching parameters have been noticed along with the changes in the FTIR and UV–VIS spectra. The results have been discussed on the basis of some basic mechanisms of radiation interactions with organic materials.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline cadmium selenide (nc-CdSe) thin films have been prepared by thermal evaporation using the inert gas condensation (IGC) technique. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) studies show that the CdSe nanocrystals (NCs) are spherical in shape. Constant photocurrent method (CPM) is used to determine the value of absorption coefficient in low absorption region of as-deposited, annealed and light soaked nc-CdSe thin films. Values of optical band gap (Eg) have been determined by using Tauc's relation for as-deposited, annealed and light soaked nc-CdSe thin films from the α values evaluated from reflection and transmission measurements. We have used a derivative procedure to sub-gap absorption spectra in order to get information on the energetic distribution of the occupied density of states below Fermi level. Constants such as optical gap Eg, Urbach edge Eu have been obtained from CPM spectra in as-deposited, annealed and light soaked nc-CdSe thin films. Concentration of defect states has also been calculated in as-deposited, annealed and light soaked nc-CdSe thin films.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to develop a cryopreservation protocol for Dioscorea rotundata with maintenance of genetic stability of regenerated plants after cryopreservation. In vitro shoot tips were cryopreserved using vitrification and encapsulation-dehydration to compare the efficacy of the two methods. Both methods produced high levels of plant regeneration from cryopreserved shoot tips. The regeneration level obtained using vitrification (71%) was not significantly different from that obtained using encapsulation-dehydration (67%). Genetic stability of plants derived from cryopreserved shoot tips was evaluated using RAPD markers. Analysis of 50 cryopreserved-derived and 20 in vitro- maintained (control) plantlets showed that 10 primers produced 77 clear, reproducible bands, with the amplification products being monomorphic for all the plantlets tested. A total of 5,390 bands obtained from this study exhibited no aberration in RAPD banding. Thus, the present study showed that both vitrification and encapsulation-dehydration methods are equally applicable to D. rotundata for cryopreservation. The in vitro plantlets derived from cryopreservation were genetically stable at the molecular level tested.  相似文献

An efficient, metal-free, catalyst-free and solvent-free methodology for the reductive amination of levulinic acid with different anilines has been developed using HBpin as the reducing reagent. This protocol offers an excellent method to avoid solvents and added catalysts on the synthesis of different kinds of N-substituted pyrrolidones under metal free conditions. It is also the first report for the synthesis of different pyrrolidones by solvent-free as well as catalyst-free methods. The proposed mechanism for the formation of pyrrolidone has been supported by DFT calculations and control experiments.  相似文献

A selective, sensitive and rapid LC–MS/MS method has been developed and validated as per US Food and Drug Administration regulatory guidelines for the simultaneous quantitation of colchicine and febuxostat in rat plasma. Colchicine and febuxostat were extracted from the rat plasma using 10% tert-butyl methyl ether in ethyl acetate using colchicine-d6 as an internal standard (IS). The chromatographic separation of colchicine, febuxostat and the IS was achieved using a mobile phase comprising 5 mm ammonium formate and 0.025% formic acid in acetonitrile (20:80, v/v) in isocratic mode on an Eclipse XDB-C18 column. The injection volume and flow rate were 5.0 μl and 0.9 ml/min, respectively. Colchicine and febuxostat were detected by positive electrospray ionization in multiple reaction monitoring mode using transition pairs (Q1 → Q3) of m/z 400.10 → 358.10 and 317.05 → 261.00, respectively. The assay was linear in the ranges of 0.25–254 and 2.60–622 ng/ml for colchicine and febuxostat, respectively. The inter- and intra-day precision values were 0.58–13.0 and 1.03–4.88% for colchicine and febuxostat, respectively. No matrix or carryover effects were observed during the validation. Both analytes were stable on the bench-top, in the autosampler and in storage (freeze–thaw cycles and long-term storage at −80 ° C). A pharmacokinetic study in rats was performed to show the applicability of the validated method.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

We study the effect of the external electric field Fext on the low-temperature electron mobility μ in an asymmetrically doped AlxGa1-xAs based V-shaped double quantum well (VDQW) structure. We show that nonlinearity of µ occurs under double subband occupancy on account of intersubband effects. The field Fext alters the VDQW potential leading to transfer of subband wave functions between the wells, which affects the scattering potentials and hence μ. In the VDQW structure, due to the alloy channel layer, the alloy disorder (Al-) scattering happens to be significant along with the ionised impurity (Imp-) scattering. The non-linear behaviour of μ is because of μImp, while the overall magnitude of μ is mostly due to μAl. The increase of difference in the doping concentrations of the outer barriers increases the nonlinearity of μ. The oscillatory character of μ is amended by varying the width of the well and barrier and also the height of the VDQW. Our results can be used to study VDQW based nanoscale field effect transistor structures.  相似文献

Information on the low-lying levels up to ~1.9 MeV excitation of the doubly odd nucleus50V has been obtained through the Ge (Li)-Ge (Li) coincidence study with the50Ti(p, nγ)50V reaction. Branching ratios have been measured and tentative spin-parity assignments have been made. A detailed comparison with other measurements reported recently has also been made. Using the lowest seniority wave functions with (f7/2) p 3 (f 7/2) n ?1 configuration, energy levels and electromagnetic properties have been calculated. The influence of the presence of BaO impurity on the optical absorption, radiation hardness and thermally stimulated luminescence of BaF2 has been investigated. The presence of oxygen impurity gives rise to three absorption bands in the UV region, peaking around 220, 280 and 335 nm. Further, the impurity is found to be detrimental to crystal hardness against ionizing radiations. The thermally stimulated luminescence (TSL) has been studied from gamma-irradiated crystals containing different fractions of BaO impurity. Four prominent glow peaks around 100°C (peak I), 150°C (peak II), 220°C (peak III) and 290°C (peak IV) are observed for crystals containing BaO impurity concentrations lower than 0.5% (by wt). For crystals containing higher impurity concentrations, two additional peaks around 75°C and 260°C are also observed. The kinetics of TSL emission is observed to be of first order, implying that the absorption and the emission centers responsible for TSL are the same. The normalized TSL output for peak I is found to vary linearly with the concentration of oxide impurity. This fact can be utilized to detect the presence of minute amounts of oxygen in BaF2 lattice, which is crucial to the growth of crystals exhibiting high radiation hardness.  相似文献

Infrared absorption spectra of copper phthalocyanine in KBr pellet and pyridine solution in 400-1625 and 2900-3200 cm(-1)regions are reported. In the IR spectra of solid sample, presence of weak bands, which are forbidden according to the selection rules of D4h point group, is explained on the basis of distortion in the copper phthalocyanine molecule caused by the crystal packing effects. Observation of a new band at 1511 cm(-1) and change in intensity of some other bands in pyridine are interpreted on the basis of coordination of the solvent molecule with the central copper ion.  相似文献
