(−)-Lardolure and (2R,4R,6R,8R)-2,4,6,8-tetramethylundecanoic acid have been synthesized via lipase catalyzed desymmetrization strategy to create two methyl chiral centers. Other key steps involved in the synthesis are Wittig reaction, Evan’s asymmetric alkylation, Grignard reaction, Pd-catalyzed isomerization of primary allylic alcohol to corresponding saturated aldehyde, and PhNO/proline catalyzed MacMillan α-hydroxylation.  相似文献

A terminal FeIIIOH complex, [FeIII(L)(OH)]2− (1), has been synthesized and structurally characterized (H4L = 1,2-bis(2-hydroxy-2-methylpropanamido)benzene). The oxidation reaction of 1 with one equiv. of tris(4-bromophenyl)ammoniumyl hexachloroantimonate (TBAH) or ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) in acetonitrile at −45 °C results in the formation of a FeIIIOH ligand radical complex, [FeIII(L˙)(OH)] (2), which is hereby characterized by UV-visible, 1H nuclear magnetic resonance, electron paramagnetic resonance, and X-ray absorption spectroscopy techniques. The reaction of 2 with a triphenylcarbon radical further gives triphenylmethanol and mimics the so-called oxygen rebound step of Cpd II of cytochrome P450. Furthermore, the reaction of 2 was explored with different 4-substituted-2,6-di-tert-butylphenols. Based on kinetic analysis, a hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) mechanism has been established. A pKa value of 19.3 and a BDFE value of 78.2 kcal/mol have been estimated for complex 2.

One-electron oxidation of an FeIII–OH complex (1) results in the formation of a FeIII–OH ligand radical complex (2). Its reaction with (C6H5)3C˙ results in the formation of (C6H5)3COH, which is a functional mimic of compound II of cytochrome P450.  相似文献

The regiospecific oxidation of alkyl group of both sterically hindered and unhindered aromatic amine to corresponding carbonyl compound was done in aq. medium by using DDQ. Four new neutral copper azido polymers, [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(1))(2)](n) (1), [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(2))(2)](n) (2), [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(3))(2)](n) (3), and [Cu(9)(N(3))(18)(L(4))(4)](n) (4) [L(1-4) are formed in situ by reacting pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde with 2-[2-(methylamino)ethyl]pyridine (mapy, L(1)), N,N-dimethylethylenediamine (N,N-dmen, L(2)), N,N-diethylethylenediamine (N,N-deen, L(3)), and N,N,2,2-tetramethylpropanediamine (N,N,2,2-tmpn, L(4))], have been synthesized by using 0.5 mol equiv of the chelating tridentate ligands with Cu(NO(3))(2)·3H(2)O and an excess of NaN(3). Single-crystal X-ray structures show that the basic unit of these complexes, especially 1-3, contains very similar Cu(II)(4) building blocks. The overall structure of 3 is two-dimensional, while the other three complexes are one-dimensional in nature. Complex 1 represents a unique example containing hemiaminal ether arrested by copper(II). Complexes 1 and 2 have a rare bridging azido pathway: both end-on and end-to-end bridging azides between a pair of Cu(II) centers. Cryomagnetic susceptibility measurements over a wide range of temperature exhibit dominant ferromagnetic behavior in all four complexes. Density functional theory calculations (B3LYP functional) have been performed on complexes 1-3 to provide a qualitative theoretical interpretation of their overall ferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

Four new neutral copper-azido polymers [Cu(6)(N(3))(12)(aem)(2)](n)(1), [Cu(6)(N(3))(12)(dmeen)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](n) (2), [Cu(6)(N(3))(12)(N,N'-dmen)(2)](n) (3), and [Cu(6)(N(3))(12)(hmpz)(2)](n) (4) [aem = 4-(2-aminoethyl)morpholine; dmeen = N,N-dimethyl-N'-ethylethylenediamine; N,N'-dmen = N,N'-dimethylethylenediamine and hmpz = homopiperazine] have been synthesized by using 0.33 mol equiv of the chelating diamine ligands with Cu(NO(3))(2)·3H(2)O/CuCl(2)·2H(2)O and an excess of NaN(3). Single crystal X-ray structures show that the basic unit of these complexes, especially 1-3, contains very similar Cu(II)(6) building blocks. But the overall structures of these complexes vary widely in dimensionality. While 1 is three-dimensional (3D) in nature, 2 and 3 have a two-dimensional (2D) arrangement (with different connectivity) and 4 has a one-dimensional (1D) structure. Cryomagnetic susceptibility measurements over a wide range of temperature exhibit dominant ferromagnetic behavior in all the four complexes. The experimental susceptibility data have been analyzed by some theoretical model equations.  相似文献

A rare asymmetric end-on double azido-bridged copper(II) complex has been synthesized and characterized structurally and magnetically. The Cu-N(azide)-Cu angle in this complex is calculated to be 89.1 degrees. This is unusually low in comparison to the same angle in other end-on azido-bridged binuclear complexes reported so far. Though a strong ferromagnetic interaction between the metal centers is expected in the complex, the coupling has actually been found to be antiferromagnetic, instead.  相似文献

Partial etherification of phenolic-OH groups of calix[4]arenes with various alkyl halides/tosylates and K2CO3 under microwave irradiation afforded 1,3-dialkoxycalix[4]arenes in their cone conformation only as predominant/sole product in good yields (71–85%). The protocol was found to be much superior to conventional heating both in terms of yield and reaction time. Some of the 1,3-dialkoxycalix[4]arenes were elaborated further to the syntheses of cesium selective calix[4]crown-6 ionophores.  相似文献

N,N-Dimethylaminoalkyl chalcogenolate Pd(II) complexes [PdCl(ENMe2)]n has been investigated as a moisture/air-stable and robust catalyst for Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction in the absence of copper and phosphine ligand. The dimeric palladium(II) complex of selenium containing ligand shows the best catalytic activity as compared with monomeric and trimeric complexes. The variety of functional groups are tolerated under optimized catalytic systems and provide excellent yields of the products.  相似文献

Dependence of the backbone planarity of oligo(p‐phenyleneethynylene)s (OPEs) on the intrinsic electronic character of substituents and on the nature of the solvent has been experimentally demonstrated with a series of center‐symmetrical five‐ring systems, pentiptycene‐pentiptycene‐arene‐pentiptycene‐pentiptycene, differing in the substituents on the central arene. In frozen 2‐methyltetrahydrofuran (MTHF), the adjacent pentiptycene units prefer to be in a mutually twisted orientation when the substituents are electron‐withdrawing (F and amido), resulting in a TPPT or TTTT conformation, whereas a planarized PPPP backbone is favored in the case of electron‐donating substituents (alkyl and alkoxy). The propensity to adopt the PPPP form is generally enhanced by replacing MTHF with either methylcyclohexane or mixed ethanol/methanol as solvent. These observations reveal that the twist between adjacent pentiptycene units in OPEs is a consequence of the electronic rather than steric effects of iptycenyl substituents. The electronic effect of iptycenyl substituents is manifested in decreased phenylene π polarizability as the net effect of both electron‐donating hyperconjugation and an electron‐withdrawing inductive effect. Variable‐temperature electronic absorption and emission spectroscopies are the critical tools for this work. Our findings provide important guidelines for conformational and electronic engineering of OPEs and for the design of novel iptycene‐based organic electronic materials.  相似文献

A phenyl-selenium-substituted coumarin probe was synthesized for the purpose of achieving highly selective and extremely rapid detection of glutathione (GSH) over cysteine (Cys)/homocysteine (Hcy) without background fluorescence. The fluorescence intensity of the probe with GSH shows a ∼100-fold fluorescent enhancement compared with the signal generated for other closely related amino acids, including Cys and Hcy. Importantly, the substitution reaction with the sulfhydryl group of GSH at the 4-position of the probe, which is doubly-activated by two carbonyl groups, occurs extremely fast, showing subsecond maximum fluorescence intensity attainment; equilibrium was reached within 100 ms (UV-vis). The probe selectivity for GSH was confirmed in Hep3B cells by confocal microscopy imaging.  相似文献
