Intersystem crossing quantum yields of two psoralen derivatives, bromopsoralen (BrMOP) and hexylpsoralen (8-HOP) were measured in ethanol and water by means of laser flash photolysis. Compared to 8-methoxypsoralen (8-MOP), the triplet quantum yields of BrMOP and 8-HOP in ethanol are increased by a factor of 5 and 30, respectively, while BrMOP in aqueous solution shows a twofold enhancement with respect to 8-MOP. Radical cations and hydrated electrons were generated by photoionization in micellar solution upon excitation at 266nm. A nonlinear relationship between transient yield and photon fluence was obtained for each compound, indicating that a two-photon mechanism is predominant in the photoionization of the sensitizers. The photoionization efficiencies are significantly higher in anionic sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) than in cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) micelles, reflecting the influence of micelle charge on the efficiency of the separation of the photoproduced charge carriers. The photoionization efficiencies of 8-HOP and 8-MOP are similar. It is concluded that the intersystem crossing properties of BrMOP show a substantial heavy atom effect, whereas the effects of hydrophobic substitution on photoionization efficiency are minor.  相似文献

Functionalized gold nanoparticles were applied as contrast agents for both in vivo X-ray and magnetic resonance imaging. These particles were obtained by encapsulating gold cores within a multilayered organic shell which is composed of gadolinium chelates bound to each other through disulfide bonds. The contrast enhancement in MRI stems from the presence of gadolinium ions which are entrapped in the organic shell, whereas the gold core provides a strong X-ray absorption. This study revealed that these particles suited for dual modality imaging freely circulate in the blood vessels without undesirable accumulation in the lungs, spleen, and liver.  相似文献

Two DNA-sequence-selective hairpin polyamide platinum(II) complexes, containing pyrrole and imidazole heterocyclic rings, have been synthesised by different methods. A six-ring complex, selective for (A/T)GGG(A/T) DNA sequences, was made by using solid-phase synthesis, whilst an eight-ring complex, selective for (A/T)CCTG(A/T) DNA sequences, was made by utilising standard wet chemistry. Solid-phase synthesis resulted in a significantly higher yield, required less purification and is more efficient than the wet synthesis; as such, it is the preferred method for further work. The metal complexes were characterised by (1)H and (195)Pt NMR spectroscopy and ESI mass spectrometry. The two compounds provide a foundation for the synthesis of more complex molecules containing multiple hairpins and/or platinum groups.  相似文献

Flavonoids are important secondary plant metabolites that have been studied for a long time for their therapeutic potential in inflammatory diseases because of their cytokine-modulatory effects. Five flavonoid aglycones were isolated and identified from the hydrolyzed aqueous methanol extracts of Anastatica hierochuntica L., Citrus reticulata Blanco, and Kickxia aegyptiaca (L.) Nabelek. They were identified as taxifolin (1), pectolinarigenin (2), tangeretin (3), gardenin B (4), and hispidulin (5). These structures were elucidated based on chromatographic and spectral analysis. In this study, molecular docking studies were carried out for the isolated and identified compounds against SARS-CoV-2 main protease (Mpro) compared to the co-crystallized inhibitor of SARS-CoV-2 Mpro (α-ketoamide inhibitor (KI), IC50 = 66.72 µg/mL) as a reference standard. Moreover, in vitro screening against SARS-CoV-2 was evaluated. Compounds 2 and 3 showed the highest virus inhibition with IC50 12.4 and 2.5 µg/mL, respectively. Our findings recommend further advanced in vitro and in vivo studies of the examined isolated flavonoids, especially pectolinarigenin (2), tangeretin (3), and gardenin B (4), either alone or in combination with each other to identify a promising lead to target SARS-CoV-2 effectively. This is the first report of the activity of these compounds against SARS-CoV-2.  相似文献

A new six intraperitoneal injection insulin-mimetic vanadyl(Ⅱ) compounds [(VD-13)(VO+2)(AA-1n)] (where (n=1~6); AA1=isoleucine, AA2=threonine, AA3=proline, AA4=phenylalanine, AA5=lysine and AA6=glutamine) were synthesized by the chemical reactions between vitamin D3 (VD3), VOSO4 and amino acids (AAn) with equal molar ratio 1∶1∶1 in neutralized media. The structures of these complexes were elucidated by spectroscopic methods like, infrared and solid reflectance spectroscopes. Magnetic moments and electronic spectra reveal square pyramid geometrical structure of the complexes. The infrared spectra assignments of these complexes revealed that the chelation towards vanadyl(Ⅳ) ions existed via deprotonation of the hydroxyl group of VD3 drug ligand and so amino acids act as bidentate ligand via N-amino and O-carboxylate groups. The anti-diabetic efficiency of these complexes were evaluated against streptozotocin induced diabetic male albino rats.  相似文献

An electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) probe consisting of two dielectric resonators (DRs) and a cavity (CV) is ideal for EPR experiments where both signal enhancement and tuning capabilities are required. The coupling of two DRs, resonating in their \({\text{TE}}_{01\delta }\) mode and a CV resonating in its \({\text{TE}}_{011}\) mode, is studied using energy-coupled mode theory (ECMT). The frequencies and eigenvectors of the three coupled modes are analytically derived. As predicted numerically, ECMT confirms that the \({\text{TE}}^{ + + - }\) and \({\text{TE}}^{ + - - }\) modes are indeed found to be degenerate at a specific distance between the two DRs \(d_{12}\). Additionally, the condition at which degeneracy occurs is specified. For a considerable range, the calculated frequency of the \({\text{TE}}^{ + + + }\) mode changes linearly with respect to \(d_{12}\). The \({\text{TE}}^{ + + + }\) mode showed a 500 MHz frequency change over a distance of 2 cm, when the resonance frequency is around 9.7 GHz. This enables the experimentalist to linearly tune the probe over this large frequency range. Finally the asymmetric configuration, where one of the resonators (DR2) is kept at the cavity center and the other one is allowed to move along the cavity axis, is studied. It is estimated that the frequency changes by 600 MHz over a distance of 1.5 cm. A formula for the magnitude of the magnetic field along the cavity axis, where the EPR samples are usually placed, is developed. This is crucial in determining the magnetic field in the vicinity of the sample and the probe’s filling factor.  相似文献

Based on a modified-Darcy-Maxwell model, two-dimensional, incompressible and heat transfer flow of two bounded layers, through electrified Maxwell fluids in porous media is performed. The driving force for the instability under an electric field, is an electrostatic force exerted on the free charges accumulated at the dividing interface. Normal mode analysis is considered to study the linear stability of the disturbances layers. The solutions of thelinearized equations of motion with the boundary conditions lead to an implicit dispersion relation between the growth rate and wave number. These equations are parameterized by Weber number, Reynolds number, Marangoni number, dimensionless conductivities, and dimensionless electric potentials. The case of long waves interfacial stability has been studied. The stability criteria are performed theoretically in which stability diagrams are obtained. Inthe limiting cases, some previously published results can be considered as particular cases of our results. It is found that the Reynolds number plays a destabilizing role in the stability criteria, while the damping influence is observed for the increasing of Marangoni number and Maxwell relaxation time.  相似文献

The effect of an externally applied electric field on the stability of a thin fluid film over an inclined porous plane is analyzed using linear and non-linear stability analysis in the long wave limit. The principle aim of this study is to illustrate the influence of electric field on the non-linear stability of a thin liquid layer flow down incline substrate when the plane is porous. The driving force for the instability under an electric field is an electrostatic force exerted on the free charges accumulated at the dividing interface. The coupled non-linear evolution equations for the local film thickness and the interfacial charge for two-dimensional disturbances are derived to analyze the effect of long-wave instabilities. The method of multiple scales is applied to obtain approximate solutions and analyze the stability criteria. Numerical simulations of this system of non-linear evolution equations are performed. It is found that the permeability parameter as well as the inclination of the plane plays a destabilizing role in the stability criteria, while the damping influence is observed for increasing of the electrical conductivity in both linear and non-linear behavior.  相似文献

The investigation of ultrafast dynamics, taking place on the few to sub‐picosecond time scale, is today a very active research area pursued in a variety of scientific domains. With the recent advent of X‐ray free‐electron lasers (XFELs), providing very intense X‐ray pulses of duration as short as a few femtoseconds, this research field has gained further momentum. As a consequence, the demand for access strongly exceeds the capacity of the very few XFEL facilities existing worldwide. This situation motivates the development of alternative sub‐picosecond pulsed X‐ray sources among which femtoslicing facilities at synchrotron radiation storage rings are standing out due to their tunability over an extended photon energy range and their high stability. Following the success of the femtoslicing installations at ALS, BESSY‐II, SLS and UVSOR, SOLEIL decided to implement a femtoslicing facility. Several challenges were faced, including operation at the highest electron beam energy ever, and achievement of slice separation exclusively with the natural dispersion function of the storage ring. SOLEIL's setup also enables, for the first time, delivering sub‐picosecond pulses simultaneously to several beamlines. This last feature enlarges the experimental capabilities of the facility, which covers the soft and hard X‐ray photon energy range. In this paper, the commissioning of this original femtoslicing facility is reported. Furthermore, it is shown that the slicing‐induced THz signal can be used to derive a quantitative estimate for the degree of energy exchange between the femtosecond infrared laser pulse and the circulating electron bunch.  相似文献
