A diradical approach to obtain stable organic dyes with intense absorption around λ=1100 nm is reported. The para‐ and meta‐quinodimethane‐bridged BODIPY dimers BD‐1 and BD‐2 were synthesized and were found to have a small amount of diradical character. These molecules exhibited very intense absorption at λ=1088 nm (?=6.65×105 M ?1 cm?1) and 1136 nm (?=6.44×105 M ?1 cm?1), respectively, together with large two‐photon‐absorption cross‐sections. Structural isomerization induced little variation in their diradical character but distinctive differences in their physical properties. Moreover, the compounds showed a selective fluorescence turn‐on response in the presence of the hydroxyl radical but not with other reactive oxygen species.  相似文献

Two‐component self‐assembly is a promising approach to construct functional nanomaterials. Interaction of a flexible guanidiniocarbonyl pyrrole tetra‐cation ( 1 ) with naphthalene diimide dicarboxylic acid (NDIDC) in aqueous DMSO leads to the formation of supramolecular networks. First, the carboxylate groups of NDIDC bind to the guanidiniocarbonyl pyrrole cations of 1 in a 1:2 stoichiometry. Further π–π induced aggregation then leads to 3D networks, as established by dynamic light scattering studies (DLS), NMR, fluorescence titration, viscosity measurements, AFM, and TEM microscopy. Due to ion pairing, the resulting aggregates can be switched between the monomers and the aggregates reversibly using external stimuli like protonation or deprotonation. At high concentration, a stable colloidal solution is formed, which shows an extensive Tyndall effect. Increasing the concentrations even further leads to formation of a supramolecular gel.  相似文献

3.5–4.75 mg cm−2 thick UO2 coatings were electrodeposited using alkaline uranyl nitrate-ammonium oxalate bath on alloy 600 onto which nickel and copper interlayers were previously electrochemically formed. Micro laser Raman spectroscopy of annealed coating confirmed the formation of UO2 by showing a peak at 447 cm−1. Scanning electron microscopy showed uniform morphology with an average grain size of 1 µm. Glow discharge optical emission spectroscopy revealed no significant diffusion of nickel and copper into UO2 due to annealing. Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy showed increased thickness of annealed coating. Scratch adhesion test indicated improved cohesive and adhesive strength of coating after annealing.

The poly(o‐phenylenediamine) (PoPD) was synthesized from the monomer o‐phenylenediamine in various organic solvent medium viz. dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), N,N‐dimethyl formamide (DMF) and methanol using ammonium per sulfate as a radical initiator. The structure just like polyaniline derivative with free ?NH functional groups of the synthesized polymers confirmed by various standard characterizations was explained from the proposed polymerization mechanism. All the synthesized polymers were completely soluble in common organic solvent like DMSO and DMF because of the presence of polar free ?NH functional groups in its structure. The formation of polymer nanofiber by reverse salting‐out process was confirmed, and the synthesized polymer in DMSO medium was the best polymer in terms of nano‐morphology as well as conducting properties. Interestingly, the average DC conductivity of undoped polymer film was recorded as 2.21 × 10?6 Scm?1 because of induced doping through self charge separation. Summary The kinetics of oxidation of ethylene glycol, 2,3-butanediol and pinacol have been studied spectrophotometrically under different experimental conditions. The reactions seem to occur through the formation of an intermediate complex between each diol and iridium(IV). The complexes decompose through intermediate free radicals to form formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and acetone, respectively. Thermodynamic parameters have been calculated.  相似文献

In this paper, we report our measurements of back-angle oxygen and carbon particle yields from 16O+89Y, 12C+93Nb reactions forming the same compound nucleus 105Ag at the same excitation energy and spin distribution. We find anomalously large oxygen yield and entrance channel dependence at high excitation energies from 16O+89Y reaction implying formation of a dinuclear orbiting complex. Possible connection between nuclear orbiting and fast fission is also discussed.  相似文献

Band state concept has been used for the first time to explain the Melting temperature and Debye temperature of ternary chalcopyrite semiconductors.
