Effect of ablation environment on the nature of ZnO nanoparticles produced by laser ablation method in liquid medium is investigated experimentally. High purity Zn plate was irradiated by the fundamental beam of a Q-switch Nd-YAG laser in cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), acetone, sodium dodecyl sulfate and water. Produced nanoparticles were characterized by UV–Vis absorption spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction spectrum, and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Results show that the highest rate of ablation occurs in CTAB. Largest nanoparticles are produced in acetone, and crystallinity of nanoparticles produced in CTAB is higher than other samples. CTAB surfactant changed the morphology of ZnO nanoparticles.  相似文献

Since Metasurfaces are playing important roles in optical devices such as optical polarizers and detectors, in this article, we have proposed a novel shape of nano aperture antenna for mid-infrared applications such as bio-sensing and other potential optical applications based on plasmonic characteristic of the gold layer over the SiN substrate. The transmittance tensor is obtained for vertical and horizontal linear polarization and base on boundary condition of the metasurface, the circular polarizations are extracted which are confirmed by the electric field distributions. We have shown by the parametric studies that the phase difference is altered by the gap and slot width and so with the dimension modification, we are able to achieve circular polarizer in the optical range. The biological materials with a thickness of 80 nm have then been placed over the metasurface layer and the figures of merits have been obtained. We have revealed that when the circular polarization is osculated to the metasurface at a special frequency the linear polarization is obtained in the other side of the metasurface. The nano aperture has been modeled and the finite difference time domain calculations are performed in CST Microwave Studio as a commercial full wave simulation software.  相似文献

We investigated the effects of using different thicknesses of pure and vanadium-doped thin films of TiO_2 as the electron transport layer in the inverted configuration of organic photovoltaic cells based on poly(3-hexylthiophene) P3HT:[6-6] phenyl-(6) butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM). 1% vanadium-doped TiO_2nanoparticles were synthesized via the solvothermal method. Crystalline structure, morphology, and optical properties of pure and vanadium-doped TiO_2 thin films were studied by different techniques such as x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmittance electron microscopy, and UV–visible transmission spectrum. The doctor blade method which is compatible with roll-2-roll printing was used for deposition of pure and vanadium-doped TiO_2 thin films with thicknesses of 30 nm and 60 nm. The final results revealed that the best thickness of TiO_2 thin films for our fabricated cells was 30 nm. The cell with vanadium-doped TiO_2 thin film showed slightly higher power conversion efficiency and great J_(sc) of 10.7 mA/cm~2 compared with its pure counterpart. In the cells using 60 nm pure and vanadium-doped TiO_2 layers, the cell using the doped layer showed much higher efficiency. It is remarkable that the external quantum efficiency of vanadium-doped TiO_2 thin film was better in all wavelengths.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of four new Ferrocene (Fc) bioconjugates, bearing a podant (Lys)-Leu-Val-Phe-Phe motif, namely the hydrophobic sequence of amyloid-β-peptides (Aβ), is reported. The Fc-peptide conjugates are characterized by a reversible redox activity and the ability to undergo hydrophobic and hydrogen bonding interactions. Biomolecular interactions between Fc-bioconjugates with Aβ(12-28) fragments were studied by circular dichroism (CD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and electrochemistry. All four Fc-peptides interacted favourable with Aβ(12-28) and prevented fibril formation, the extent of which depended on the length of the peptide and the nature of the C-terminal group. The aggregates obtained for the Aβ(12-28)/Fc-peptide mixtures range from short fibrils to spherical aggregates. We demonstrated that in solution the peptide sequence and peptide charge affect the biomolecular interactions. Fc-peptide interactions with immobilized Aβ(12-28)-Cys films on Au surfaces were detected by measuring the current response of the Fc redox process. The formal redox potential, E(0), at ~440 (10) mV and i(pc)/i(pa) at 0.9 were observed characteristic for the monosubstituted Fc-derivative undergoing a one-electron redox process. On the surface, methyl ester-protected Fc-peptides (1 and 3) interacted only weakly with Aβ(12-28)-Cys films, giving rise to minimal redox activity. In contrast, charged Fc-peptides (2 and 4) gave a significant electrochemical readout following the interaction with Aβ(12-28)-Cys films. Interestingly, the Fc-peptide charge dictates the surface-assisted interactions, while hydrophobic and ionic effects contribute to the overall solution behaviour of the Fc-bioconjugates with Aβ(12-28).  相似文献

A surface-based approach is presented to study the interactions of Aβ12-28-Cys assembled on gold surfaces with Congo red (CR) and a β-sheet breaker (BSB) peptide. The various aspects of the peptide film have been examined using different electrochemical and surface analytical techniques. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) results using redox probes [Fe(CN)(6)](3-/4-) show that Aβ12-28-Cys on gold forms a stable and reproducible blocking film. EIS analysis shows that CR and BSB have different effects on the electrochemical properties of Aβ12-28-Cys films, presumably due to changes in the interactions between the film and CR and BSB. EIS results indicate that in the case of CR film resistance decreases significantly presumably due to better penetration of the solution-based redox probe into the film, whereas in the case of BSB, the film resistance increases. We interpret this difference to BSB being able to interact with the Aβ12-28-Cys on the surface and presumably forming a film that presents a higher resistance for electron transfer from the redox probe to the solution.  相似文献

Abstract  

Two zinc(II) complexes [ZnI2((2,3-MeO-ba)2en)] (1) and [ZnCl2((2,3-MeO-ba)2en)] (2), with the symmetrical bidentate Schiff-base ligand (2,3-MeO-ba)2en [N,N′-bis(2,3-dimethoxybenzylidene)-1,2-diaminoethane] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses (CHN), FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. The thermal behaviors of these complexes were studied using thermogravimetry in order to evaluate their thermal stability and thermal decomposition pathways. The crystal structure of [ZnI2((2,3-MeO-ba)2en)] (1) was determined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The coordination polyhedron about the zinc(II) center in the complex 1 is best described as a distorted tetrahedron.  相似文献

This article is devoted to the determination of numerical solutions for the two-dimensional time–spacefractional Schrödinger equation. To do this, the unknown parameters are obtained using the Laguerre wavelet approach. We discretize the problem by using this technique. Then, we solve the discretized nonlinear problem by means of a collocation method. The method was proven to give very accurate results. The given numerical examples support this claim.  相似文献

Since the adult mammalian heart has limited regenerative capacity, cardiac trauma, disease, and aging cause permanent loss of contractile tissue. This has fueled the development of stem cell-based strategies to provide the damaged heart with new cardiomyocytes. Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) are capable of self-renewal and differentiation into cardiomyocytes, albeit inefficiently. MicroRNAs (miRNAs, miRs) are non-coding RNAs that have the potential to control stem cell fate decisions and are employed in cardiac regeneration and repair. In this study, we tested the hypothesis that overexpression of miR-499a induces cardiomyogenic differentiation in BM-MSCs. Human BM-MSCs (hBM-MSCs) were transduced with lentiviral vectors encoding miR-499a-3p or miR-499a-5p and analyzed by immunostaining and western blotting methods 14 days post-transduction. MiR-499a-5p-transduced cells adopted a polygonal/rod-shaped (myocyte-like) phenotype and showed an increase in the expression of the cardiomyocyte markers α-actinin and cTnI, as cardiogenic differentiation markers. These results indicate that miR-499a-5p overexpression promotes the cardiomyogenic differentiation of hBM-MSCs and may thereby increase their therapeutic efficiency in cardiac regeneration.  相似文献

A new diamine was prepared via reaction between 8-hydroxy-5-nitroquinoline and 4-nitrobenzoyl chloride, followed by reduction of the nitro groups of the resulted compound. Novel quinoline-based poly(ester-amide)s were produced through polycondensation reactions of the prepared diamine with different diacid chlorides. The monomer and poly(ester-amide)s were characterized and properties of the polymers including solution viscosity, thermal behavior and stability, solubility, and crystallinity were studied.

High thermal stability and improved solubility was observed for the polymers, indicating successful designing of monomer and related polymers for overcoming the main issue of thermally stable polymers, i.e. the problem of increasing solubility versus high thermal stability.

Also, by changing the diacid chlorides for the preparation of poly(ester-amide)s, the structure-property relations were investigated.  相似文献
