We report a new approach that uses microwaves to rapidly functionalize carbon nanotubes by using 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of aziridines, well-known precursors to azomethine ylides, in solvent-free conditions. The efficiency of our microwave-mediated protocol is confirmed by comparison to a similar protocol in classical conditions for the azomethine ylides in DMF. Under these latter conditions, the reaction proceeds in 5 days (against 1 h under microwave irradiation), and the functionalization degree is much lower, as confirmed by thermogravimetric analysis and Raman spectroscopy. With our procedure, we easily scale-up the reaction up to 250 mg of functionalized MWNT in 1 h. We also provide an indirect proof of the covalent sidewall functionalization of the tubes.  相似文献

Methylthio‐ and methylsulfonyl thiophenes were polymetallated by n‐buthyllithium and superbase (LICKOR) in one‐step. 2 ‐(Methylthio)thiophene was bimetallated in 5 and in alpha to the methylthio sulfur atom by superbase. 3‐(Methylthio)thiophene was bimetallated in both 2 and 5 positions by the organolithium and trimetallated in these two positions and in alpha to the thioethereal sulfur atom by superbase. 3‐(Methylsulfonyl)thiophene was bimetallated in 2 and in alpha to the sulfonyl sulfur atom by the organolithium while the 2 ‐(methylsulfonyl)thiophene underwent degradation in the same conditions.  相似文献

Two new compounds, 2,5-dihydroxyisocostic acid and 2,3-dihydroxycostic acid together with three known sesquiterpene compounds, Isocostic acid, Carabrone and Tomentosin, have been isolated from the acetone extract of Inula viscosa (L.) Aiton. The structures of all new compounds were determined by spectroscopic methods, in particular 1D and 2D (1)H- and (13)C-NMR. The (13)C-NMR spectra of Isocostic acid and of Tomentosin are reported here for the first time.  相似文献

Since its first introduction by Karlsson and Novotny in 1988 nano-LC has emerged as a complementary and/or competitive separation method to conventional HPLC, offering several advantages such as higher efficiency, ability to work with minute sample sizes and lower consumption of mobile phases, and better compatibility with MS, etc. Although its use was not so extended initially, in the last years new and interesting applications have appeared which deserve to be carefully considered. The aim of this review is therefore to provide an updated and critical survey of different nano-LC applications in analytical chemistry.  相似文献

The separation of several insect oostatic peptides (IOPs) was achieved by using CEC with a strong-cation-exchange (SCX) stationary phase in the fused-silica capillary column of 75 microm id. The effect of organic modifier, ionic strength, buffer pH, applied voltage, and temperature on peptides' resolution was evaluated. Baseline separation of the studied IOPs was achieved using a mobile phase containing 100 mM pH 2.3 sodium phosphate buffer/water/ACN (10:20:70 v/v/v). In order to reduce the analysis time, experiments were performed in the short side mode where the stationary phase was packed for 7 cm only. The selection of the experimental parameters strongly influenced the retention time, resolution, and retention factor. An acidic pH was selected in order to positively charge the analyzed peptides, the pI's of which are about 3 in water buffer solutions. A good selectivity and resolution was achieved at pH <2.8; at higher pH the three parameters decreased due to reduced or even zero charge of peptides. The increase in the ionic strength of the buffer present in the mobile phase caused a decrease in retention factor for all the studied compounds due to the decreased interaction between analytes and stationary phase. Raising the ACN concentration in the mobile phase in the range 40-80% v/v caused an increase in both retention factor, retention time, and resolution due to the hydrophilic interactions of IOPs with free silanols and sulfonic groups of the stationary phase.  相似文献

In recent years, the margin of interaction between computational chemistry and most branches of experimental chemistry has increased at a fast pace. The experimental characterization of new systems relies on computational methods for the rationalization of structural, energetic, electronic and dynamical features. In particular, novel computational approaches allow accurate estimates of molecular parameters from spectroscopic optical observables, giving rise to synergic interactions between experimentalists and theoretically-oriented chemists. Our main objective in this tutorial review is to delineate the degree of advancement of possible integrated computational approaches to the interpretation of optical spectroscopies, with an accent on large molecules in solvated environments, based on the combination of advanced quantum mechanical treatments and stochastic modelling of relaxation processes.  相似文献

Naturally occurring long-chain ceramides (Cer) are known to alter the lateral organization of biological membranes. In particular, they produce alterations of microdomains that are involved in several cellular processes, ranging from apoptosis to immune response. In order to induce similar biological effects, short-chain Cer are extensively used in in vivo experiments to replace their long-chain analogues. In this work, we used the combined approach of atomic force microscopy (AFM) and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) to investigate the effect of Cer chain length in lipid bilayers composed of sphingomyelin, dioleoyl-phosphatidylcholine, and cholesterol. Our results show that only long-chain Cer, like C18 and C16, are able to segregate from the liquid-ordered phase, forming separate Cer-enriched domains. Conversely, short-chain Cer do not form a separate phase but alter the physical properties of the liquid-ordered domains, decreasing their stability and viscosity and perturbing the lipid packing. These differences may contribute to the explanation of the different physiological effects that are often observed for the long- and short-chain Cer.  相似文献

A novel approach to the synthesis of pyrazole derivatives from tosylhydrazones of alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl compounds possessing a beta-hydrogen is proposed, exploiting microwave (MW) activation coupled with solvent free reaction conditions. The cycloaddition was studied on three ketones (trans-4-phenyl-3-buten-2-one, beta-ionone and trans-chalcone). The corresponding 3,5-disubstituted-1H-pyrazoles were obtained in high yields and after short reaction times. In order to simplify and point out the green chemistry features of the method, a further improvement was achieved under the same catalytic conditions with a "one pot" synthesis of these heterocyclic compounds, starting directly from their carbonyl precursors via tosylhydrazones generated in situ. For an exhaustive study, the dielectric properties of the solid reaction mixtures were also measured, in order to obtain input data for the numerical simulation of their heating behaviour in the single mode MW cavity which was used for experimental work. In order to supply a valid methodology and tool for measuring the environmental impact, a comparative study between the synthetic route proposed and the classical synthetic route has been carried out.  相似文献
