The petroleum ether extract of dried ground whole fruits of Piper nigrum L. afforded 20 compounds (1-20) including two new insecticidal amides named as pipnoohine (1), and pipyahyine (2), seven reported for the first time from this plant (12, 13, 15-17, 19, 20), and eleven known compounds (3-11, 14, 18). The structure of 1 has been elucidated as (2E,4E,12Z)-N-(4-methylpentyl)octadeca-2,4,12-trienamide and that of 2 as (2E,4E,11E)-12-(benzo[1,3]dioxol-5-yl)-N-(3-methylbutyl)dodeca-2,4,11-trien-amide through extensive ID-, 2D-NMR spectral studies and chemical reactions. The known compounds have been identified through comparison of their spectral data with those reported in literature. 1 and 2 exhibited toxicity at 35.0 and 30.0 ppm respectively against fourth instar larvae of Aedes aegypti L. by WHO method. 相似文献

Using 13.8 fb(-1) of data collected at or just below the Upsilon(4S) with the CLEO detector, we report the result of a search for the flavor changing neutral current process D0-->gammagamma. We observe no significant signal for this decay mode and determine 90% confidence level upper limits on the branching fractions B(D0-->gammagamma)/B(D0-->pi(0)pi(0))<0.033 and B(D0-->gammagamma)<2.9 x 10(-5). 相似文献

The measurement of a distributed property is frequently encountered in engineering applications. The impact of a possible measurement error on the measured distribution is described and two methods to account for such an error are detailed: A Fourier transform based deconvolution procedure and a moment based deconvolution approach via kernel estimators are presented. The deconvolution methods can be used in many particle characterization and process applications where particle features or properties are commonly presented in a distributed form. Kinetics of D-mannose oxidation by cerium (IV) was studied in a sulfuric acid medium at 40℃ both in absence and presence of ionic micelles. In both cases, the rate of the reaction was first-order in D-mannose and in cerium(Ⅳ), which decreased with increasing [H2SO4]. This suggested that the redox reaction followed the same mechanism. The reaction proceeded through formation of an intermediate complex, which was proved by kinetic method. The complex underwent slow unimolecular decomposition to a free radical that reacted with cerium (Ⅳ) to afford the product. The catalytic role of cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) micelles was best explained by the Menger-Portnoy model. The study of the effect of CTAB also indicated that a negatively charged species was reactive form of cerium (Ⅳ). From the kinetic data, micelle-cerium (Ⅳ) binding and rate constants in micellar medium were evaluated.The anionic micelle of sodium dodecyl sulfate plays no catalytic role. This article looks at the hydrodynamic elastico-viscous fluid over a stretching surface. The equations governing the flow are reduced to ordinary differential equations, which are analytically solved by applying an efficient technique namely the homotopy analysis method (HAM). The solutions for the velocity components are computed. The numerical values of wall skin friction coefficients are also tabulated. The present HAM solution is compared with the known exact solution for the two-dimensional flow and an excellent agreement is found. 相似文献

Geometries containing a narrow gap are characterized by strong quasi-periodical flow oscillations in the narrow gap region.
The above mentioned phenomena are of inherently unstable nature and, even if no conclusive theoretical study on the subject
has been published, the evidence shown to this point suggests that the oscillations are connected to interactions between
eddy structures of turbulent flows on opposite sides of the gap. These coherent structures travel in the direction of homogeneous
turbulence, in a fashion that strongly recalls a vortex street. Analogous behaviours have been observed for arrays of arbitrarily
shaped channels, within certain range of the geometric parameters. A modelling for these phenomena is at least problematic
to achieve since they are turbulence driven. This work aims to address the use of Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) to
reduce the Navier–Stokes equations to a set of ordinary differential equations and better understand the dynamics underlying

This Letter looks at the rotating flow of a second grade fluid past a porous shrinking surface. The fluid is electrically conducting in the presence of a constant applied magnetic field. The governing partial differential equations are first reduced into ordinary differential equations and then solved by homotopy analysis method (HAM). Convergence of the series solution is shown explicitly. In addition, the obtained results are illustrated graphically to indicate the effects of the pertinent physical parameters. 相似文献
