The reactions between a variety of functionalized alcohols and tris(dimethylsilyl)methane, (HMe2Si)3CH, are described. Alcohols such as ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, triethylene glycol monomethyl ether, 2-chloroethanol, 1-octanol, benzyl alcohol, glycidol, and allyl alcohol were converted in the presence of Karstedt's catalyst into the corresponding tris(alkoxydimethylsilyl)methanes, (ROMe2Si)3CH, in a convenient one-pot operation under aerobic conditions. The appearance of the products coincides with the generation of colloidal Pt(0) species. Moreover, poly(4-chloromethyl)styrene containing tris(dimethylsilyl)methyl groups reacts with benzyl alcohol or 2-chloroethanol in the presence of Karstedt's catalyst to give new macromolecules bearing tris(alkoxydimethylsilyl)methyl groups. The reaction rate is greatly influenced by the concentration of catalyst.  相似文献

Bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) initiate, promote, and maintain odontogenesis and osteogenesis. In this study, we studied the effect of bone morphogenic protein 2 (BMP 2) and bone morphogenic protein 7 (BMP 7) as differentiation inducers in tooth and bone regeneration. We compared the effect of BMP 2 and BMP 7 on odontogenic and osteogenic differentiation of human tooth germ stem cells (hTGSCs). Third molar-derived hTGSCs were characterized with mesenchymal stem cell surface markers by flow cytometry. BMP 2 and BMP 7 were transfected into hTGSCs and the cells were seeded onto six-well plates. One day after the transfection, hTGSCs were treated with odontogenic and osteogenic mediums for 14 days. For confirmation of odontogenic and osteogenic differentiation, mRNA levels of BMP2, BMP 7, collagen type 1 (COL1A), osteocalsin (OCN), and dentin sialophosphoprotein (DSPP) genes were measured by quantitative real-time PCR. In addition to this, immunocytochemistry was performed by odontogenic and osteogenic antibodies and mineralization obtained by von Kossa staining. Our results showed that the BMP 2 and BMP 7 both promoted odontogenic and osteogenic differentiation of hTGSCs. Data indicated that BMP 2 treatment and BMP 7 treatment induce odontogenic differentiation without affecting each other, whereas they induce osteogenic differentiation by triggering expression of each other. These findings provide a feasible tool for tooth and bone tissue engineering.  相似文献

The fine structure of the even‐parity low configurations of singly ionized hafnium has been reanalyzed by simultaneous parameterization of the one‐ and two‐body interactions for the model space (5d + 6s)3. Using the calculated eigenfunctions, the magnetic‐dipole A hyperfine constants for the whole 37 existing levels of the model space were predicted and compared partially with those obtained using relativistic configuration‐interaction approach. Moreover, combined with experimental data, previously given in the literature, and pseudo‐relativistic Hartree–Fock estimates, the field shifts (FSs) and specific mass shifts (SMSs) of numerous configurations are deduced: FS(5d16s2) = 2265 MHz, FS(5d3) = ?1958 MHz, FS(5d16p2) = ?1696 MHz, FS(6s26p1) = 3135 MHz, and SMS(5d16s2) = ?78 MHz, SMS(5d3) = 64 MHz, SMS(6s26p1) = ?228 MHz, referred to 5d26s for the pair 178Hf–180Hf. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The present study investigated effect of different amplitude levels (40, 70 and 100%), sonication temperatures (40, 50 and 60 °C) and exposure times (3, 7 and 11 min) on steady shear properties; apparent viscosity (η), shear stress (σ), consistency coefficient (K), flow behavior index (n) and dynamic shear properties; storage modulus (G′), loss modulus (G″), complex viscosity (η), complex modulus (G) and loss tangent (tan δ) values of glucomannan based salep solution (SS) and salep drink (SD) samples. In addition, the steady and dynamic shear properties were optimized using ridge analysis in terms of amplitude level, sonication temperature and exposure times levels. Increasing amplitude level and sonication time decreased considerably the η, σ, K, G′, G″ and η values of salep dispersions (SS and SD samples). However, sonication temperature did not have a remarkable effect on these properties.  相似文献

A bottom-up approach to fabricating monodisperse, two-component polymersomes that possess phase-separated (“patchy”) chemical topology is presented. This approach is compared with already-existing top-down preparation methods for patchy polymer vesicles, such as film rehydration. These findings demonstrate a bottom-up, solvent-switch self-assembly approach that produces a high yield of nanoparticles of the target size, morphology, and surface topology for drug delivery applications, in this case patchy polymersomes of a diameter of ≈50 nm. In addition, an image processing algorithm to automatically calculate polymersome size distributions from transmission electron microscope images based on a series of pre-processing steps, image segmentation, and round object identification is presented.  相似文献
