Polyaniline is doped with sodium thiosulphate in aqueous tetrahydrofuran (THF) and the blended films have been prepared by changing the amount of doped polyaniline (PANI) in the fixed amount of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The electrical conductivity of various samples of polyaniline-polyvinyl chloride (PANI-PVC) blends has been studied to see the effect of dopant in the temperature range 300-400 K. Mott's parameters are used to explain the conduction mechanism. Different parameters such as pre-exponential factor (σ0), activation energy (ΔE) and T0 have also been calculated to see the effect of chemical doping. The crystallinity of the blends is explained on the basis of T0. The calculated values of T0 show that crystallinity increases with an increase of doped PANI in PANI-PVC blends. Fourier transform-infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy is done to explore the nature and interaction of dopant into the polymeric chain.  相似文献

Calotropis procera (family Apocynaceae) is a valuable medicinal plant as it contains many valuable phytochemicals such as glycosides (mostly cardenolides), flavonoids, triterpenes, alkaloids, steroids, saponins, proteins and enzymes. Multiparous biological activities such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, wound healing and wideranging antimicrobial activities of C. procera have been well investigated and reported. The main aim of this review was to present the encompassing information regarding antimicrobial activities of C. procera latex, different crude extracts and some isolated compounds which have been tested for antimicrobial property. Comprehensive data extracted from earlier as well as recently published original articles regarding antibacterial, antifungal, anti-protozoal and antiviral properties of C. procera were discussed and summarised in tabular forms. The compiled data comprised of plant parts, geographical origin, type of tested extracts/fractions, test model, used doses, tested microorganisms, obtained results and relevant references. In addition, the isolated antimicrobial pure compounds of C. procera are also discussed in a separate section. The analysis and information presented in this review identified the existing critical knowledge gaps in the research and also explored the future perspectives and further research opportunities of C. procera.  相似文献

A coordination polymer of formula [Cu(μ 1,3-N3)2(imH)2] n (1) has been synthesized by reaction of Cu(NO3)2 with imidazole and sodium azide in CH3OH/CH3CN. The complex was characterized by FTIR, elemental analysis, powder diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, magnetic measurements, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The X-ray crystal structure shows that the Cu(II) centers have a distorted octahedral coordination geometry, being coordinated by two imidazole ligands at the trans positions. Each azide links two [Cu(imH)2]2+ units to form 1D zigzag chains. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility studies at low field reveal dominant intrachain ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic interactions. Using a model with n = 10, the coupling parameters J AF = ?2.95 and J F = 17.99 with g = 2.12 have been determined.  相似文献

This newly designed route assembled a pyrazole ring with an aldehydic functionality over another pyrazole moiety. Further, formyl group was exploited in different routes such as condensation reactions, imidazole and pyrimidone/thione synthesis. Pauciflorol F and isopaucifloral F are very important polyphenolic natural products and exhibit a variety of biological activities such as antibiotic, anticancer, anti-HIV, antioxidant, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory activities. These important molecules have gained significant attraction of medicinal chemists and several new strategies have been developed toward the synthesis of pauciflorol F and isopaucifloral F. In this work functionalised mesoporous silica spheres have been utilised for the simultaneous preconcentration of nickel and cobalt. The silica spheres (SiSPs) prepared by the sol-gel method were functionalised with sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC-SiSPs). They were characterised by SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR, CHN and nitrogen adsorption. The adsorption efficiency of DDTC-SiSPs was examined by batch equilibrium technique. The DDTC-SiSPs showed 100% adsorption for Ni (II) and Co (II). The effect of changing variables such as pH, shaking time, sample volume, preconcentration factor, eluent type and volume were investigated so as to obtain maximum recovery with high selectivity over interfering ions. The maximum adsorption capacity was found to be 15.15 mg g?1 and 11.80 mg g?1 for Ni (II) and Co (II) respectively using DDTC-SiSPs. 100% recovery was achieved with 5 mL of 2 M HNO3. The maximum preconcentration factor was 400 and the 3σ limits of detection were 0.201 µg L?1 and 0.198 µg L?1 for Ni (II) and Co (II) respectively. Thermodynamic studies showed that adsorption of Ni (II) and Co (II) on DDTC-SiSPs is exothermic with enthalpy changes of –0.514 KJ mol?1 and –0.854 KJ mol?1 for Ni (II) and Co (II) respectively. The method was applied to the preconcentration and determination of Ni (II) and Co (II) from tap, river and sea water.  相似文献

Affinity monolith chromatography (AMC) is a liquid chromatographic technique that utilizes a monolithic support with a biological ligand or related binding agent to isolate, enrich, or detect a target analyte in a complex matrix. The target-specific interaction exhibited by the binding agents makes AMC attractive for the separation or detection of a wide range of compounds. This article will review the basic principles of AMC and recent developments in this field. The supports used in AMC will be discussed, including organic, inorganic, hybrid, carbohydrate, and cryogel monoliths. Schemes for attaching binding agents to these monoliths will be examined as well, such as covalent immobilization, biospecific adsorption, entrapment, molecular imprinting, and coordination methods. An overview will then be given of binding agents that have recently been used in AMC, along with their applications. These applications will include bioaffinity chromatography, immunoaffinity chromatography, immobilized metal-ion affinity chromatography, and dye-ligand or biomimetic affinity chromatography. The use of AMC in chiral separations and biointeraction studies will also be discussed.  相似文献

We investigated the photoionization and fragmentation of isolated metal protoporphyrin IX cations (MPPIX+ with M=Fe, Co, Zn) by means of vacuum-ultraviolet (VUV) action spectroscopy in the energy range of 8.5–35 eV. Experiments were carried out in the gas phase by interfacing an electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometer with a synchrotron beamline. The mass spectra and partial ion yields show that photoexcitation of the precursor ions predominantly leads to .CH2COOH radical side-chain losses of the macrocycle with additional methyl radical (.CH3) side-chain losses. Ionization, in contrast, leads to the formation of the intact ionized precursor and various doubly charged fragments which are mostly due to side-chain cleavages. Although statistical fragmentation dominates, we found evidence for non-statistical processes such as new fragments involving for example single and double H2O losses, indicating that different relaxation mechanisms are at play upon photoionization compared to photoexcitation. The measured ionization energies were 9.6±0.2 eV, 9.4±0.2 eV and 9.6±0.2 eV for FePPIX+, CoPPIX+ and ZnPPIX+, respectively.  相似文献

This study delves into a comprehensive physical analysis of entropy measures applied to sodium oxide Na 2 O . A key idea in information theory and thermodynamics, entropy is essential to comprehending the stability of a system. The study clarifies the intricate relationships and physical properties of Na 2 O by combining theoretical analysis with statistical methods, providing important knowledge for material design and industrial operations. In a chemical graph, atoms are shown by vertices while their bonding are illustrated by edges. Sodium oxide is a major contributor to manufacture glass, it also has potential applications in CO 2 sequestration, transparent materials, biomedical devices and nano grating glass. A topological index is a relationship between the molecular graph and its topology. We have computed various graph entropies based on different topological indices of chemical graph of sodium oxide. Further we have integrated these graph entropies with distinct thermodynamical measures of sodium oxide by developing mathematical models between both quantities. We have developed these mathematical frameworks in MATLAB. All the models are selected relying on the least mean squared error or sum of squared error.  相似文献
