The anionic polymerization of N‐acryloyl‐N′‐(4‐methylbenzoyl)urea (1) was carried out at 80°C for 24 h in DMF, DMSO, acetonitrile, or toluene by t‐BuOK or DBU (3 mol %) as an initiator to obtain polymer 3 in a good yield. The structure of 3 was dependent upon the initiator used, in which t‐BuOK selectively conducted the hydrogen‐transfer polymerization, while DBU partially induced the vinyl polymerization (16–20%). Likewise, N‐acryloyl‐N‐methyl‐N′‐(4‐methylbenzoyl)urea (2, i.e., an N‐methylated derivative of 1) was subjected to the hydrogen‐transfer polymerization. Although the yield of the polymer was lower in comparison with 1, the structure of the obtained polymer 4 was similarly governed by the initiator. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The three-site spin correlation, S(i)·(S(j)×S(k)) on the neighboring triangular sites i, j and k, termed scalar spin chirality, can endow the conduction electron with a quantum Berry phase and resultant transverse (Hall) transport. The paramagnetic barely metallic state was prepared in hole-doped Y2Mo2O7 with pyrochlore lattice using a high-pressure synthesis method, which is further endowed with the spin chirality by partially replacing Y site with Tb (content x). The local spin chirality formed by the adjacent three Tb Ising moments on the pyrochlore lattice can couple to the conduction electrons to give rise to the topological Hall effect whose magnitude increases in proportion to x3 or the density of the Tb-moment triangular clusters.  相似文献

Unlike extensively studied diradicals linked by π‐conjugated systems, only a few studies have investigated weakly coupled diradicals linked by an sp3 carbon atom. Herein, we prepared pyrrolidin‐1‐oxyl–(nitronyl nitroxide)‐dyad 5 and pyrrolidin‐1‐oxyl–iminonitroxide‐dyad 6 . From the observed temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility, 5 and 6 were determined to be in singlet ground states with 2Jintra/kB=?35.2 K and ?13.6 K, respectively. From these results and theoretical calculations of related diradicals, the spin‐polarization model counting the small spin density of the sp3 carbon atom could be used as a spin‐prediction model.  相似文献

We report expanded porphyrins with pyridine rings and two neighboring carbonyl groups, which allow NiII ions to coordinate to the tripyrrinone‐type NNNO coordination structure with Ni?O bonds. The selectivity of tripyrrinone is superior to other pyrrolic or pyridinic cavities of expanded porphyrins. Introduction of α‐carbonyl pyridine next to the tripyrrolic conjugated structure is a powerful strategy for regioselective metalation of flexible expanded porphyrinoids.  相似文献

We investigate a miniaturized X-ray source using an ultraviolet (UV) laser and a pyroelectric crystal and discuss potential applications in medicine. The UV laser is the fourth harmonic of a Nd:YAG laser with a wavelength of 266 nm, repetition rate of 10 Hz, and pulse energy of 40 mJ. The pyroelectric crystal is a LiNbO3 cylinder of diameter 10 mm and length 6 mm. The prototype X-ray source we fabricated is an aluminum parallelepiped of dimensions 3 × 3 × 5 cm. The X-ray count rate of the X-ray source is maximized at approximately 1,400 cps for UV laser irradiation of approximately 5 min. After 30 min of irradiation by the UV laser, the temperature of the pyroelectric crystal rose from 295 K to 312 K. The principles of X-ray generation ensure that X-ray sources using UV lasers and pyroelectric crystals offer ample opportunity for miniaturization. We believe the X-ray source developed in this work is suitable for medical applications, although further study is needed to address points such as increasing the X-ray count rate and adjusting the temperature of the pyroelectric crystal.  相似文献

Effects of fast neutron irradiation and post-annealing on magnetic properties of Rb3C60 were studied through the dc magnetization measurement. Rb3C60 powder samples were prepared in an evacuated quartz glass tube, and the temperature and the magnetic field dependences of dc magnetization were measured before and after irradiation and after post-annealing. The neutron fluences were 1.0, 1.8 and 3.3 × 1016 n/cm2, and the post-annealing was made at a temperature of 473 K for 3 h. Magnetic hysteresis of the samples irradiated at the fluence of 1.8 and 3.3 × 1016 n/cm2 disappeared, and the hysteresis curves hardly changed at the fluence of 1.0 × 1016 n/cm2. As for the post-annealing effect, the hysteresis curves of the sample irradiated at the fluence of 1.8 × 1016 n/cm2 were completely recovered after annealing, while those of the other samples, which had a magnetic background before irradiation, were not recovered. In this study, it was found that the loss of superconductivity in Rb3C60 powder is observed when the neutron irradiation fluence exceeds 1.0 × 1016 n/cm2, and the lost superconductivity is completely recovered by the post-annealing at 473 K for 3 h.  相似文献
