Simultaneous detection of eight active components in Radix Tinosporae by ultra high performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray tandem mass spectrometry

A rapid and sensitive ultra high performance liquid chromatography with electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry method was developed and validated for the simultaneous determination of eight major active components (magnoflorine, menisperine, 20‐hydroxyecdysone, cepharanthine, columbamine, jatrorrhizine, columbin, and palmatine) in Radix Tinosporae. The separation was performed on an InterSustainSwift C18 column (1.9 μm, 2.1 id × 100 mm) at 40 °C with a gradient elution. A mixture of acetonitrile and methanol (v/v = 1:1) and ammonium acetate buffer (25 mmol/L ammonium acetate with 0.2% formic acid) were used as mobile phases, and the flow rate was set at 0.4 mL/min. The recovery was tested in real samples and calculated to be 86.97–111.28%, and all the compounds showed good linearity (r > 0.998) in relatively wide concentration ranges. The developed method was applied to the determination of eight active compounds in real herb samples, which were collected from four different places. It has been demonstrated that the proposed method has great potential for the quality control of the traditional Chinese medicine Radix Tinosporae. 相似文献

Direct observation of optical hole burning in ruby is made by using a Stark-field sweeping technique. In addition to the main hole at the laser frequency, new side holes at the shifted frequencies are observed. The origin of the side holes is considered to be due to the population redistribution of resonant ions in the ground state 4A2 by spin-spin cross relaxation and that in the excited state ē(2E) by spin-lattice relaxation. The orders of relative tocopherol biopotency, scavenging activity of lipid peroxyl radicals, and quenching activity of singlet oxygen are as follows: jalpha‐tocopherol > β‐tocopherol ? γ‐tocopherol > δ‐tocopherol. However, the reverse is the case for the activity to protect fats and oils from oxidation: jalpha‐tocopherol < β‐tocopherol < γ‐tocopherol δ‐tocopherol. The reason for this reverse has been studied by measuring weight gains of solutions including methyl linoleate and various antioxidants at daily intervals. Antioxidant activity is expressed as an induction period in days. Induction periods are compared with the second‐order rate constants for scavenging of an aroxyl radical by the antioxidants. A plot of the logarithm of the second‐order rate constant vs. the induction period is found to give a good linear fit, and the slope is negative. From these results, it is considered that the larger the peroxyl‐radical‐scavenging activity of a tocopherol, the more favorable the production of the tocopheroxyl radical, and thus the more efficient the oxidation of fats and oils by the tocopheroxyl radical. Particle-associated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) collected in urban air of Beijing were studied using a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer (GC/MS). The average concentration of particle-associated PAHs measured in this work was in the range from 28.53 to 362.15 ng/m3, which suggested a serious pollution level of PAHs in Beijing. The results also showed that the concentration of PAHs in the winter was distinctly higher than that in summer and spring. Benzo(a)pyrene (BaP) and benzo(a)pyrene-equivalent carcinogenic power (BaPE) were adopted to evaluate the PAHs pollution state at the sampling site. Through some diagnostic ratios, it can be concluded that traffic exhaust, especially vehicles with diesel engines, and domestic coal-burning heaters might have a prominent contribution to the PAHs concentration. 相似文献

Modulation of optical FID and structure of absorption line due to superhyperfine interaction in ruby
Modulation of optical free induction decay (FID) and structure of R1 absorption line due to superhyperfine interaction in ruby have been observed by using Stark-switching and Stark-sweeping techniques, respectively. The inhomogeneous broadening is effectively eliminated by a narrow optical hole burning. Frequency and phase characteristics of the FID signal have also been examined. We report measurements of the anisotropy of the spin echo decay for the inner layer Cu site of the triple layer cuprate Hg(0.8)Re(0.2)Ba(2)Ca(2)Cu(3)O(8) (T(c)=126 K). The angular dependence of the second moment (T(-2)(2M) identical with ) deduced from the decay curves indicates that T(-2)(2M) for H0 parallel c is enhanced in the pseudogap regime below T(pg) approximately 170 K, as seen in bilayer systems. Comparison of T(-2)(2M) between H0 parallel c and H0 perpendicular c indicates that this enhancement is caused by electron spin correlations between the inner and the outer CuO2 layers. The results provide the answer to the long-standing controversy regarding the opposite T dependences of (T1T)(-1) and T(-2)(2G) (T(2G): Gaussian component) in the pseudogap regime of multilayer systems. 相似文献
