Bianchi Type-III Magnetized Wet Dark Fluid Cosmological Model in General Relativity

Bianchi type-III cosmological model of universe filled with dark energy from a wet dark fluid (WDF) in presence and absence of magnetic field is investigated in general theory of relativity. We assume that F ₁₂ is the only non-vanishing component of F _ij . We obtain exact solutions to the field equations using the condition that expansion is proportional to the shear scalar i.e. (B=C ⁿ ). The physical behavior of the model is discussed with and without magnetic field. We conclude that universe model do not approach isotropy through the evolution of the universe.     

Secondary ion mass spectrometry and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy studies on TiO2 and nitrogen doped TiO2 thin films

Anatase phase TiO₂ and nitrogen (N) doped TiO₂ thin films were synthesized by an ultrasonic spray pyrolysis technique on c-Si (100) substrates in the temperature range 300-550 °C. The former used a precursor solution of titanium oxy acetylacetonate in methanol whereas the later used a titanium oxy acetylacetonate hexamine mixture in methanol. Homogeneity across the film’s thickness and the nature of the film-substrate interface were studied by dynamic depth profiling acquired using secondary ion mass spectrometry SIMS. The stoichiometry and bonding state of various species present in the films were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). N-doping was confirmed by both SIMS and XPS. XPS studies revealed that the nitrogen content of the films synthesized at 300 °C (3.2%) is high compared to that of films made at 350 °C (1.3%).

Solving evolution equations using a new iterative method

In this article, we apply the new iterative method proposed by Daftardar‐Gejji and Jafari (J Math Anal Appl 316, (2006), 753–763) for solving various linear and nonlinear evolution equations. Ultrasound Promoted and Ionic Liquid Catalyzed Cyclocondensation Reaction for the Synthesis of 4(3H)-Quinazolinones

4(3H)‐Quinazolinones were synthesized in high yields by one‐pot three‐component condensation of anthranilic acid, carboxylic acid and aniline in the presence of ionic liquid such as 1‐n‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (BMImBF₄) as catalyst under solvent free and neutral conditions.     

An Efficient Enantioselective Synthesis of Natural Gingerols,the Active Principles of Ginger

A straightforward synthesis of (S)‐gingerols 1 – 3 has been described. The requisite stereogenic center in the target molecules was introduced by Sharpless asymmetric dihydroxylation using a chiral complex, AD‐mix β. This route is simple and efficient to prepare the products in very good yields.     

Divergent Total Synthesis of Atisane‐Type Diterpenoids

Atisane‐type diterpenoids are the principal constituent of tetracyclic C₂₀‐diterpenoids, widely isolated from the plant kingdom with varying degrees of structural complexity and pharmacological activity. The tetracarbocyclic system with the unique bicyclo[2.2.2]octane skeleton of this natural product family has generated interest within the synthetic community. Divergent total synthesis is an effective tactic to synthesize several atisane‐type diterpenoids using structural interconversion from a common intermediate. This account summarizes the divergent total synthesis of atisane‐type diterpenoids.     

Syntheses of New Unsymmetrical 2,5‐Disubstituted‐1,3,4‐oxadiazoles and 1,2,4‐Triazolo[3,4‐b]‐1,3,4‐thiadiazoles Bearing Thieno[2,3‐c]pyrazolo Moiety

New series of (thieno[2,3‐c]pyrazolo‐5‐yl)‐[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4‐b][1,3,4]thiadiazoles 10a , 10b , 10c and (thieno[2,3‐c]pyrazol‐5‐yl)‐1,3,4‐oxadiazol‐3(2H)‐yl)ethanones 6a , 6b , 6c has been synthesized from thieno[2,3‐c]pyrazole‐5‐carbohydrazide 3 by multistep reaction sequence. (5‐Aryl‐1,3,4‐oxadiazol‐2‐yl)‐1H‐thieno[2,3‐c]pyrazoles 4a , 4b , 4c were also synthesized from thieno[2,3‐c]pyrazole‐5‐carbohydrazide 3 by cyclization with various aromatic carboxylic acids. The hydrazide 3 was obtained by reaction of thieno[2,3‐c]pyrazole‐5‐carboxylate 2 with hydrazine hydrate in good yield, and compound 2 was obtained by the reaction of 5‐chloro‐3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐4‐carbaldehyde 1 and 2‐ethyl thioglycolate in presence of sodium alcoholate in good yield.     

New Synthesis and Reactions of Ethyl 5‐amino‐4‐cyano‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐3‐carboxylate

Synthesis of ethyl 5‐amino‐4‐cyano‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐3‐carboxylate 5 has been achieved via abnormal Beckmann rearrangement of o‐chloroaldehyde 1 . Reaction of o‐aminocarbonitrile 5 with concentrated H₂SO₄ furnished expected o‐aminocarboxamide pyrazole 6 . Key intermediates o‐aminocarbonitrile 5 and o‐aminocarboxamide 6 were successfully utilized for the synthesis of pyrazolopyrimidine derivatives. The replacement of Cl in o‐chlorocarbonitrile 3 with secondary amine furnished new synthon 13 , which was further used for the synthesis of polysubstituted heterocycles. The obtained new products were well characterized by IR, ¹H and ¹³C NMR, and mass spectra.
