We report a first-principles study of structural, electronic and magnetic properties of ternary plumbides (rare earth-transition metal-Plumb) Dy2Ni2Pb crystallizes with the orthorhombic structure of the Mn2AlB2 type (space group Cmmm), were studied by means of the full-relativistic version of the full-potential augmented plane wave plus local orbital method within the frame work of spin-polarized density functional theory (SP-DFT). The electronic exchange-correlation energy is described by generalized gradient approximation (GGA). We have calculated the lattice parameters, bulk modulii and the first pressure derivatives of the bulk modulii, total densities of states and magnetic properties. The calculated total magnetic moment is found to be equal to 9.52 μB. 相似文献

Stingray phospholipase A2 group IIA (SPLA2-IIA) was recently isolated and purified to homogeneity from the intestine of the common stingray Dasyatis pastinaca, suggesting that this enzyme plays an important role in systemic bactericidal defense. The present study showed that SPLA2-IIA was highly bactericidal against Gram-positive bacteria with inhibition zones and minimal inhibitory concentration values in the range of 13–25 mm and 2–8 μg/ml, respectively, whereas Gram-negative bacteria exhibited a much higher resistance. The bactericidal efficiency of SPLA2-IIA was shown to be unaffected by high protein and salt concentrations, but dependent upon the presence of calcium ions, and then correlated to the hydrolytic activity of membrane phospholipids. Importantly, we showed that stingray phospholipase A2 group IIA presents no cytotoxicity after its incubation with MDA-MB-231 cells. SPLA2-IIA may be considered as a future therapeutic agent against bacterial infections. 相似文献

We have developed an improved synthesis of 3-(hetero)aryl pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyridines (such as 3-(2,5-dichloropyrimidin-4-yl)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyridine (8)) via an optimized synthesis and Suzuki coupling of 3-pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyridine boronic ester 10. These conditions are applicable to both high throughput chemistry and large scale synthesis of these medicinally important compounds. The present investigation deals with a simple preparation of new formulation of tin?Csucralfate freeze-dried kit (F.D.K.), to be directly labeled with 99mTc at optimal pH value of 7.0. The lyophilized form containing 100?mg sucralfate and 11.3?mg dihydrated stannous chloride. Other optimal pH values of the preparation were found to be from 4.0 to 11.0. The range of sucralfate amount studied (50?C500?mg) not affected the radiochemical purity of the labeled complex. The radiochemical purity and the stability of the labeled preparation that assessed by filtration were more than 95%. 99mTc sucralfate was radiochemical stable up to a specific activity of 1,000?mCi per gram which was more stable than earlier published value (700?mCi per gram) without any radiolytic decomposition. The biological behavior of 99mTc-pertechnetate was evaluated in two groups of animals, the first group (neither fasted nor ulcerated) and the second group (fasted and ulcerated mice). The data of organ distribution of 99mTc?Csucralfate in ulcerated fasted mice showed that more than 99% of the administered dose was accumulated in the stomach (87.92%) and intestine (11.43%). The radioanalytical results together with the in vivo-biological behavior of the labeled preparation demonstrate it??s stability, efficacy and usefulness in medical applications for the detection of gastrointestinal ulcers. 相似文献

The interaction of xenon with different proteins in aqueous solution is investigated by 129Xe NMR spectroscopy. Chemical shifts are measured in horse metmyoglobin, hen egg white lysozyme, and horse cytochrome c solutions as a function of xenon concentration. In these systems, xenon is in fast exchange between all possible environments. The results suggest that nonspecific interactions exist between xenon and the protein exteriors and the data are analyzed in term of parameters which characterize the protein surfaces. Plant bioactive compounds, particularly apigenin, have therapeutic potential and functional activities that aid in the prevention of infectious diseases in many mammalian bodies and promote tumor growth inhibition. Apigenin is a flavonoid with low toxicities and numerous bioactive properties due to which it has been considered as a traditional medicine for decades. Apigenin shows synergistic effects in combined treatment with sorafenib in the HepG2 human cell line (HCC) in less time and statistically reduces the viability of tumor cells, migration, gene expression and apoptosis. The combination of anti-cancerous drugs with apigenin has shown health promoting potential against various cancers. It can prevent cell mobility, maintain the cell cycle and stimulate the immune system. Apigenin also suppresses mTOR activity and raises the UVB-induced phagocytosis and reduces the cancerous cell proliferation and growth. It also has a high safety threshold, and active (anti-cancer) doses can be gained by consuming a vegetable and apigenin rich diet. Apigenin also boosted autophagosome formation, decreased cell proliferation and activated autophagy by preventing the activity of the PI3K pathway, specifically in HepG2 cells. This paper provides an updated overview of apigenin’s beneficial anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and anticancer effects, making it a step in the right direction for therapeutics. This study also critically analyzed the effect of apigenin on cancer cell signaling pathways including the PI3K/AKT/MTOR, JAK/STAT, NF-κB and ERK/MAPK pathways. 相似文献

In recent years, searching and retrieving relevant images from large databases has become an emerging challenge for the researcher. Hashing methods that mapped raw data into a short binary code have attracted increasing attention from the researcher. Most existing hashing approaches map samples to a binary vector via a single linear projection, which restricts the flexibility of those methods and leads to optimization problems. We introduce a CNN-based hashing method that uses multiple nonlinear projections to produce additional short-bit binary code to tackle this issue. Further, an end-to-end hashing system is accomplished using a convolutional neural network. Also, we design a loss function that aims to maintain the similarity between images and minimize the quantization error by providing a uniform distribution of the hash bits to illustrate the proposed technique’s effectiveness and significance. Extensive experiments conducted on various datasets demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method in comparison with state-of-the-art deep hashing methods. 相似文献
