A reasonably sensitive and highly selective spectrophotometric method for the determination of mercury(II) is proposed. The method is based on the extraction of the ion-associate formed by a mercury(II) thiacrown ether cationic complex with Bromocresol Green as the anionic counter-ion using chloroform as the extracting solvent. The effect of thiacrown ethers of different cavity sizes, namely 1,4,7,10,13-pentathiacyclopentadecane (PTP) and 1,4,7,10,13,16-hexathiacyclooctadecane (HTO), the thiacrown ether concentration, the extracting solvent, the bromocresol green concentration and the aqueous phase pH on the extraction were investigated. Measurement of the absorbance at the lambda(max) (420 nm) of the extracted ion-associate reveals that Beer's law is obeyed over 0.5-12.0 ppm mercury(II) for both ligands. Slight interference from copper(II) and cadmium(II) is exhibited by the PTP ligand, while HTO is negligibly affected by these metal ions. Strong interference from silver(I) is evident for both ligands while alkali, alkaline earth and other transition metals tested posed negligible interference. Analysis of mercury in synthetic complex mixtures was satisfactory.  相似文献

Summary The slow decomposition of H2O2 in the presence of Dowex-50 W resin in the form of an ethylenediaminecopper(II) complex ion in water is accompanied by an induction period. The reaction is first order with respect to [H2O2] and the rate constant (perg of dry resin) was deduced. Autocatalytic behaviour was found for the H2O2 decomposition with 2% crosslinked divinylbenzene. The induction period disappeared and the reaction rate increased when the decomposition was carried out with a resin in the form of a peroxo-copper complex, which proves that the formation of an intermediate (active species) retards the reaction rate. The precursor of the active species, formed during the induction period, was not the amine-copper(II) complex ion but a product of the latter with H2O2. It proved impossible to carry out the decomposition in acid or buffer solutions, in which the resin is regenerated.  相似文献

Thiourea derivative‐based carbon paste electrode (TUD1‐CPE) was constructed as a potentiometric sensor for the determination of salicylate anion in pharmaceutical formulations, Aspocid® and Aspirin®. The optimized CPE contained 45.5 % graphite, 0.5 % reduced graphene oxide (rGO), 46.0 % nitrophenyl octyl ether (NPOE) plasticizer, 5.0 % TUD1 ionophore, and 3.0 % tridodecylmethyl ammonium chloride as additive. The incorporation of NPOE of high dielectric constant, and rGO in electrode caused better performance of the sensor; Nernstian response of 59.0 mV decade?1 in the concentration range of 10?1–10?5 mole L?1, a detection limit of 1×10?5 mole L?1 in a very short response time of 6 seconds. The prepared sensor showed high selectivity against similar anions (i. e. , benzoate, I?, SCN?). Selectivity was confirmed by calculating the formation constant (Kβ) using sandwich membrane method, where Kβ for TUD1‐salicylate is 100.43. Theoretical calculations at DFT‐B3LY/6‐31G** level of theory were performed to find interaction mechanism, Energies of HOMO and LUMO orbitals, non‐linear optical (NLO) properties (the electronic dipole moment (μ), first‐order hyperpolarizability (β), the hyper‐Rayleigh scattering (βHRS) and the depolarization ratio (DR)), and other global properties; these calculations showed lower values of β and DR, higher value of βHRS, and the shortest lengths of the four N?H bonds between TUD1 and salicylate which confirm their strong complexation and salicylate‐selectivity. Also, all the studied anion‐TUD1 exhibited relatively high NLO properties, and these results were considered as a preliminary study for investigating new types of NLO bearing materials. The sensors were applied successfully for the determination of salicylate anion in Aspocid® and Aspirin®.  相似文献

Osmotic and activity coefficients in the aqueous quaternary system sodium chloride-potassium chloride-calcium chloride were derived from isopiestic measurements at 25°C. The isopiestic data were treated by the various procedures of Scatchard, Friedman, and Reilly, Wood, and Robinson. The results obtained showed good agreement with those obtained by pseudo-ternary transforms. Interaction parameters obtained indicated the preponderance of pairwise interactions. Excess Gibbs free energies of mixing were calculated.  相似文献

A large number of 4-substituted-9,10-dialkoxy-1,6,7,11b-tetrahydropyrimido[6,1-a]isoquinolin-2-ones were prepared by the reaction of 1-(ethoxycarbonylmethyl)-6,7-dialkoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolines with iminoethers. Reaction of the corresponding isoquinoline-1-acetic acid derivatives with iminoethers led to the formation of N-acyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolin-1-acetamides. In the hydrolysis of the prepared 4-substituted-pyrimido[6,1-a]isoquinolin-2-ones, the corresponding N-acyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolin-1-acetamides were obtained. While reduction of the 4-phenyl derivative resulted in the corresponding 1,3,4,6,7,11b-hexahydropyrimidinone. The steric structures of the tetrahydro- and hexahydropyrimido[6,1-a]isoquinolines were determined by nmr spectroscopy.  相似文献

The chiroptical properties and transient rheological behavior of (acetyl)(ethyl)cellulose (AEC) m-cresol liquid crystalline solutions have been investigated. Chiroptical properties were manipulated through (i) increasing degree of acetylation of ethyl cellulose (EC), and (ii) blending AEC with EC. At the same average degree of acetylation (DA), the chiroptical properties of pure AEC were different from those of the EC/AEC mixtures. However, at the same DA, the AEC and mixed AEC/EC solutions showed similar steady state flow and oscillatory behaviors, but the transient behaviors were different. At high flow rates the mixed AEC/EC solutions exhibited double recoil after cessation of steady-state flow, whereas the AEC solutions showed double recoil only in the high DA AEC solutions. All solutions, pure and mixed, had the same stress relaxation behavior. Both pitch and handedness affected the transient behavior. After cessation of high shear rate flow, the rate of modulus evolution decreased with increasing pitch, and was faster in right-handed mesophases than in left-handed ones at a similar pitch.  相似文献

An instant kit of cysteine (amino acid) to be labelled with99mTc was prepared. Optimal conditions were found, and a procedure to prepare the kit ready to use in liophilized form to gain the highest labelling yield. More than 95% labelling yield was obtained when99mTc (TcO 4 ) eluted from99mTc-generator was added to the contents of the kit. Each kit contains 0.66 mg of SnCl2·2H2O as stannite and 66 mg cysteine in lyophilized form. The formulation of cysteine tin (kit) was stable for nearly three months giving labelling yield more than 95%. Using GCS technique, different species of technetium and labelled cysteine were identified when Sephadex (G-50, G-25) was applied. Biodistribution of the labelled preparation revealed that kidney was the target organ. The ratio of accumulated dose in kidneys/liver was greater than 2.  相似文献

The sorption behaviour of 2.5 × 10−5 M solution of Cd(II) on polyurethane foam (PUF) from iodide medium have been investigated. The conditions were optimized from aqueous solutions of different pH (1-10) and of acids of varied concentration (0.01-1.0 M). The maximum concentration of KI was found to be 0.24 M and equilibration time was established to be 20 min. The data successfully followed the Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherms at low metal ion concentration while Langmuir isotherm followed at higher metal ion concentration. The Freundlich parameter 1/n = 0.66 ± 0.02 have been evaluated whereas D-R isotherm yields the sorption free energy E = 10.5 ± 0.1 kJ mol−1 indicating ion exchange type chemisorption. The monolayer coverage (XL) constant of Langmuir isotherm was found to be 23.7 ± 0.4 mg g−1. The numerical values of thermodynamics parameters enthalpy (ΔH), entropy (ΔS) and Gibbs free energy (ΔG) indicated the endothermic and spontaneous nature of sorption. The Scatchard plot analysis was tested to evaluate the binding sites of the PUF and stability constants of sorption were determined. On the basis of these parameters, the sorption mechanism was discussed. Among the foreign ions tested, Pb(II), Hg(II), cyanide and nitrite should be absent. The clean separation of Cd(II) from Zn(II) ions in the ratio 1:250, respectively, was achieved by column chromatography.  相似文献
