Horizontal Connection and Horizontal Mean Curvature in Carnot Groups

In this paper we give a geometric interpretation of the notion of the horizontal mean curvature which is introduced by Danielli Garofalo-Nhieu and Pauls who recently introduced sub- Riemannian minimal surfaces in Carnot groups. This will be done by introducing a natural nonholonomic connection which is the restriction （projection） of the natural Riemannian connection on the horizontal bundle. For this nonholonomic connection and （intrinsic） regular hypersurfaces we introduce the notions of the horizontal second fundamental form and the horizontal shape operator. It turns out that the horizontal mean curvature is the trace of the horizontal shape operator.     

Note on the Constraint on Modified Energy-Momentum Relation

Quantum gravity can modify the usual energy-momentum dispersion relation. We provide evidence for the argument that the modified dispersion relation is constrained by the black hole thermodynamics, for consistency of quantum gravity.     

Rb（5PJ）＋Rb（5PJ）→Rb（5JS）＋Rb（nl=5D，7S）碰撞能量合并

研究了Rb(5PJ)+Rb(5PJ)→Rb(nlJ')+Rb(5S)碰撞能量合并过程,利用单模半导体激光器分别共振激发Rb原子的5P1/2或5P3/2态,利用另一与泵浦激光束反向平行的单模激光束作为吸收线探测激发态原子密度及其空间分布,吸收线分别调至5P1/2→5D3/2和5P3/2→7S1/2跃迁.由激发态原子密度和谱线荧光比得到碰撞能量合并过程的截面,对5P3/2激发,碰撞转移得到5D5/2,5D3/2和7S1/2的截面分别是(1.32士0.59)×10-14,(1.18士0.53)×10-14和(3.21士1.44)×10-15cm2;对5P1/2激发,碰撞转移到5D5/2和5D3/2的截面分别是(6.57士2.96)×10-15和(5.90士2.66)×10-15cm2.与其他的实验结果进行了比较.     

Preparation of antimicrobial poly(vinyl alcohol) nanofibers containing silver nanoparticles

Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanofibers containing Ag nanoparticles were prepared by electrospinning PVA/silver nitrate (AgNO₃) aqueous solutions, followed by short heat treatment, and their antimicrobial activity was investigated for wound dressing applications. Since PVA is a water soluble and biocompatible polymer, it is one of the best materials for the preparation of wound dressing nanofibers. After heat treatment at 155 °C for 3 min, the PVA/AgNO₃ nanofibers became insoluble, while the Ag⁺ ions therein were reduced so as to produce a large number of Ag nanoparticles situated preferentially on their surface. The residual Ag⁺ ions were reduced by subsequent UV irradiation for 3 h. The average diameter of the Ag nanoparticles after the heat treatment was 5.9 nm and this value increased slightly to 6.3 nm after UV irradiation. It was found that most of the Ag⁺ ions were reduced by the simple heat treatment. Dynamical Running Mass of Quark in the Dyson-Schwinger Equation Approach

Based on the Dyson-Schwinger equations of QCD in the "rainbow" approximation, the fully dressed quarkpropagator Sf(p) is investigated, and then an algebraic parametrization form of the propagator is obtained as a solutionof the equations. The dressed quark amplitudes Af and Bf built up the fully dressed quark propagator and the dynamicalrunning masses Mf defined by Af and Bf for light quarks u, d and s are calculated, respectively. Using the predictedrunning masses Mf, quark condensates <0|q(0)q(0)|0> = -(0.255 GeV)a for u, d quarks, and <0|s s|0> = 0.8<0|q(0)q(0)]0)for s quark, and experimental pion decay constant fπ = 0.093 GeV, the masses of Goldstone bosons K, π, and η are alsoevaluated. The numerical results show that the masses of quarks are dependent on their momentum p2. The fully dressedquark amplitudes Af and Bf have correct behaviors which can be used for many purposes in our future researches onnonperturbative QCD.     

Acetate-Selective Anion Receptor with Methylene-Bridged Bis-Imidazolium Rings

Methylene-bridged bis-imidazolium receptor 1 has been synthesized. Anion binding studies carried out using ¹H NMR revealed that this compound displayed good affinities for acetate, while binding spherical halide anions weakly.     

Isomorphisms of fiber spaces over Teichmüller spaces

We will be mainly concerned with some important fiber spaces over Teichmuller spaces, including the Bers fiber space and Teichmuller curve, establishing an isomorphism theorem between "punctured" Teichmuller curves and determining the biholomorphic isomorphisms of these fiber spaces.     

液相外延GaAs1-xPx混晶的光学声子、等离子体激元和LO声子-等离子体激元耦合模

在40—700cm^-1波数和4.2—300K温度范围内研究了不同组份液相外延n型CaAs_1-xP_x样品的红外反射谱。对反射谱进行了赝谐振子拟合与K-K关系计算。从而获得了有关描述CaAs_1-xP_x样品的光学声子模、等离子体激元、LO声子-等离子体激元耦合模的重要物理参量及红外光学常数信息。基于这些计算结果,提出了双导带谷并计及与X能谷相联系的施主能级模型,用它解释等离子体激元频率和实验观察的三支主要的耦合模的温度变化规律。 关键词：     

利用手征SU(3)夸克模型研究轻双Λ超核^6_ΛΛHe,^5_ΛΛHe,^5_ΛΛH,^4_ΛΛHe,和^4_ΛΛH的结合能

在手征SU(3)夸克集团模型下, 通过共振群方法(RGM)计算了双Λ超核^6_ΛΛHe,^5_ΛΛHe,^5_ΛΛH,^4_ΛΛHe,和^4_ΛΛH的结合能. 结果表明, 假定双Λ超核具有双Λ集团和壳心核集团构成的两集团结构, 得到的^6_ΛΛHe超核的结合能与实验值基本吻合, 表明手征SU(3)夸克集团模型不仅能较好地描述重子谱、N-N和Y-N相互作用及轻Λ超核的结合能, 也能较好地描述Y-Y相互作用及双Λ超核^6_ΛΛHe,^5_ΛΛHe,^5_ΛΛH,^4_ΛΛHe,和^4_ΛΛH的结合能, 指出了它们存在的可能性.     

书籍扫描图像畸变参数自动计算方法的研究

为实现书籍扫描图像的畸变自动校正,提出用多项式来描述各像素的理论灰度g(zi)与页面上对应点到扫描仪工作平面距离zi二者之间的关系。为确立该多项式,在畸变参数已知条件下扫描一幅图像,根据已知畸变参数求出zi,即可按最小二乘法原理由各像素灰度的实际值求出多项式的各个系数。实验证明,采用4阶多项式已能满足一般要求,并求出了各系数。对任意扫描图像,自动计算畸变参数的方法为:首先利用扫描图像上页边空白处各像素的灰度,对畸变参数进行估计,并求出zi的估计值;然后代入所确立的多项式,可求得g(zi);通过调整各畸变参数的估计值,直到g(zi)与gi最为接近,即得最佳畸变参数。用于图像校正实验,获得了较好的校正效果,最大误差由不校正时的41%下降到了6.9%。这使得无需用户测量并输入有关畸变参数即可进行自动校正。
