Synthesis,crystal structure and spectroscopic characterization of mono- and tetra-nuclear molybdenum(VI) complexes with 2-mercaptopyridine N-oxide: (n-Bu4N)2[MoO2(PT)2·Mo4O8(μ-O)2(μ3-O)2(PT)2]

(n-Bu₄N)₄[Mo₈O₂₆] reacts with the Na salt of 2-mercaptopyridine N-oxide (NaPT) in MeCN to give the complex (n-Bu₄N)₂[MoO₂(PT)₂·Mo₄O₈(-O)₂(₃-O)₂(PT)₂] (1) which contains two metal centres: one being mononuclear molybdenum chelating to two PT ligands, and the other a tetranuclear oxomolybdenum cluster with two PT ligands at the terminal point. The i.r. spectrum of the title complex exhibits absorption bands at 911.5 and 881.9 cm^–1, characteristic of the [cis-MoO₂]²⁺ fragment.     

N—对甲苯磺酰基—α—氨基膦酸及其单酯的合成及活性研究

用＾３１Ｐ ＮＭＲ谱跟踪反应的方法，研究了对甲苯磺酰胺与取代苯甲醛及三氯化磷（或烷氧基二氯化磷）在乙酰氯为溶剂的条件下的类Ｍａｎｎｉｃｈ反应的机理，找到了合成标题化合物的简单方法。初步生物活性测试表明其中某些化合物具有较好的抗烟草花叶病毒活性。     

Preparation of Co3O4 Nanofibers via an Electrospinning Technique

Thin PVA/cobalt acetate composite fibers were prepared by using sol-gel processing and electrospinning technique.After calcination of the above precursor fibers,Co3O4 nanofibers with a diameter of 50-150 nm could be successfully obtained.The fibers were characterized by SEM,FT-IR,WAXD,respectively.     

Preparation of polymer-supported phosphine from ferrocene for palladium-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions

Polymer-supported phosphine ligand 3b derived from ferrocene was prepared,and applied in palladium-catalyzed Suzuki- Miyaura reactions.A range of aryl bromides can couple with phenylboronic acid to obtain corresponding biaryls in excellent yields. The recycling of the polymer-bound catalyst was tested without adding palladium.     

Unlabeled Fluoroimmunoassay with a Europium Chelate

Unlabeled fluoroimmunoassay with a europium chelate is described. The recommended method is simple because the complicated labeling process is omitted. The recovery of some samples ranges from 91 to 111%. The relative standard deviation of the method is less than 10%. The detection limit is about 10⁻¹⁰mol liter⁻¹antigen.     

The Purification of Glucose Type Glycosyl Nitrate and the Synthesis of Spacer—armed N—Acetyllactosamines and Their Dimers

Stimulated emissions in aligned CdS nanowires at room temperature

Aligned CdS nanowires (NWs) were obtained through a simple thermal evaporation process with highly active CdS nanoparticles as the evaporation source. These NWs show prominent optical waveguides behavior under a continuous-wave (CW) laser excitation. Excitation intensity-dependent photoluminescence (PL) measurements show that these NWs exhibited both broad and supernarrow stimulated emission (lasing) under intense pulse optical excitation at room temperature. Raman scattering and time-resolved PL measurements were used to investigate the optical properties. The results indicated that the stimulated emission in these NWs involves the electron-hole plasma (EHP) and Farby-Perot (F-P) optical resonant processes at room temperature.     

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopic analysis of dye-sensitized solar cells

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) has been performed to investigate electronic and ionic processes in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSC). A theoretical model has been elaborated, to interpret the frequency response of the device. The high-frequency feature is attributed to the charge transfer at the counter electrode while the response in the intermediate-frequency region is associated with the electron transport in the mesoscopic TiO2 film and the back reaction at the TiO2/electrolyte interface. The low-frequency region reflects the diffusion in the electrolyte. Using an appropriate equivalent circuit, the electron transport rate and electron lifetime in the mesoscopic film have been derived, which agree with the values derived from transient photocurrent and photovoltage measurements. The EIS measurements show that DSC performance variations under prolonged thermal aging result mainly from the decrease in the lifetime of the conduction band electron in the TiO2 film.     

Interaction of Fluorocarbon Containing Hydrophobically Mdified Polyelectrolyte with Nonionic Surfactants

The interaction of fluorocarbon containing hydrophobically modified polyelectrolyte(FMPAANa) with two kinds of nonionic surfactants(hydrogenated and fluorinated)in a semidilute (0.5wt%) aqueous solution had been studied by rheological measurements,Association behavior was found in both systems.The hydrophobic interaction of FMPAANa with fluorinated surfactant(FC171) is much stronger than that with hydrogenated surfactant(NP7.5) at low surfactoant concentrations.The interaction is strengthened by surfactants being added for the density of active junctions increased.Whereas distinct phenomena for FC171 and NP7.5 start to be found as the surfactants added over their respective certain concentration.The interaction of polyelectrolyte with fluorinated surfactant increases dramatical ly while that with hydrogenated surfactant decreases.     

Four New Podocarpane‐Type Trinorditerpenes from Aleurites moluccana

Four new podocarpane‐type trinorditerpenenes, (5β,10α)‐12,13‐dihydroxypodocarpa‐8,11,13‐trien‐3‐one ( 1 ), (5β,10α)‐12‐hydroxy‐13‐methoxypodocarpa‐8,11,13‐trien‐3‐one ( 2 ), (5β,10α)‐13‐hydroxy‐12‐methoxypodocarpa‐8,11,13‐trien‐3‐one ( 3 ), and (3α,5β,10α)‐13‐methoxypodocarpa‐8,11,13‐triene‐3,12‐diol ( 4 ), together with four known diterpenes, 12‐hydroxy‐13‐methylpodocarpa‐8,11,13‐trien‐3‐one ( 5 ), spruceanol ( 6 ), ent‐3α‐hydroxypimara‐8(14),15‐dien‐12‐one ( 7 ), and ent‐3β,14α‐hydroxypimara‐7,9(11),15‐triene‐12‐one ( 8 ), were isolated from the twigs and leaves of Aleurites moluccana. Their structures were elucidated by means of comprehensive spectroscopic analyses, including NMR and MS. Except 8 , all compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxicity; compound 4 exhibited moderate inhibitory activity against Raji cells with an IC₅₀ value of 4.24 μg/ml.
