Poly(ethylene oxide imide) segmented copolymer (PEO‐PI) membranes were crosslinked by the chemical reaction between ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether and benzylalcohol groups of diamine moieties in polyimide segments at high temperatures. Sorption and diffusion of penetrants took place in poly(ethylene oxide) segment microdomains. Sorption and desorption behavior of pure vapors such as benzene (Bz), cyclohexane (Cx) and n‐hexane (Hx) was classified as the Fickian diffusion. Sorption isotherms of binary liquid mixtures could be represented by the Flory–Rehner model, but the model overpredicted the sorption amounts of Cx and Hx, leading to small predictions of sorption selectivity αS for Bz/Cx and Bz/Hx systems. UNIFAC‐FV model fairly well predicted the sorption amounts of aromatic hydrocarbons, but significantly overestimated those of nonaromatic ones, leading to too small predictions of αS. Pervaporation (PV) behavior of PEO‐PI membranes was governed by sorption behavior followed by membrane swelling. Diffusion coefficient weakly depended on the minimum cross section of a penetrant. The diffusivity selectivity αD hardly depended on the feed composition and was about 1.4 and 0.75 for Bz/Cx and Bz/Hx, respectively. PV selectivity αPV was larger for Bz/Hx than for Bz/Cx because of larger αS. PEO‐PI membranes displayed high specific permeation flux Ql and reasonably high αPV for aromatic/nonaromatic hydrocarbons; for example, Ql = 60 Kg μm/(m2 h) and αPV = 8 for a feed mixture containing Bz, Tol, Hx, n‐Ot and i‐Ot of 20 wt % at 353 K. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Many different types of urine proteome studies have been done, but urine glycoprotein studies are insufficient. Therefore, we studied the glycoproteins from rat urine, which could be used to identify biomarkers in an animal model. First, urinary proteins were prepared by using the dialysis and lyophilizing methods from rat urine. Glycoproteins enriched with lectin affinity purification, concanavalin A, jacalin and wheat germ agglutinin from the urinary proteins were separated by means of reverse-phase fast protein LC (FPLC) or 1-D PAGE. Each FPLC fraction and 1-D PAGE gel band were trypsin-digested and analyzed by means of nanoLC-MS/MS. LC-MS/MS analyses were carried out by using linear ion trap MS. A total of 318 rat urinary glycoproteins were identified from the FPLC fractions and gel bands; approximately 90% of identified proteins were confirmed as glycoproteins in Swiss-Prot. Many glycoproteins, known as biomarkers, including C-reactive protein, uromodulin, amyloid beta A4 protein, alpha-1-inhibitor 3, vitamin D-binding protein, kallikrein 3 and fetuin-A were identified in this study. By studying urinary glycoproteins collected from rat, these results may help to assist in identifying urinary biomarkers regarding various types of disease models. 相似文献

Micromorphology and phase behavior of cationic polyurethane segmented copolymer modified with hydroxysilane 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
A series of cationic waterborne polyurethane dispersions (SiPU) modified with hydroxysilane (HPMS) were successfully synthesized based on poly(oxytetramethylene) glycols (PTMG) and isophorone isocyanate (IPDI), and the films were obtained by casting the dispersions on tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) plates. Effects of HPMS content on micromorphology, particle size of the dispersions were studied, as well as thermal properties, phase behavior and surface structure of the films. The particles had the morphology of a solid sphere, with particle size varying from 17.1 nm to 114.4 nm corresponding to the increase of HPMS concentration, which can be attributed to the increase of interfacial tension. XPS spectra indicated the surface migration of Si element in the process of film forming, and the SiPU surface was mainly composed of soft segments. DSC analysis, together with TG-DTG-DTA results demonstrated the HPMS soft segment merged with the transition region of PU matrix, forming part of polyurethane backbone, but an improved microphase separation was observed when HPMS concentration greater than 15%. It was also found that incorporation of flexible HPMS prevented the degradation of polyurethane backbone, resulting in the increase of thermal stability in ultimate copolymer. 相似文献

QM/MM calculations support experiment and show that StaP is a P450 that functions like a peroxidase: its active species is the one-electron-reduced Cpd II species with a radical on CPA, by analogy to cytochrome c peroxidase (CcP), and its reaction with the substrate proceeds by overall proton-coupled electron transfer (PCET), in analogy to the corresponding mechanism in horseradish peroxidase (HRP). The electron transfer is enabled by His250, the presence of carboxylate groups in CPA, and by the H-bonding network that tunes the energetic of the process. In this Communication, we have demonstrated a facile and effective approach to identify the structure of the superlong well-aligned single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) by the combination of electrodeposition of metal (Ag) with Raman spectroscopy. The suitable density and the visibility of the Ag-deposited long oriented nanotubes make it possible to acquire Raman spectra from isolated individual nanotubes very easily. The results reveal that the well-oriented SWNT arrays on SiO2/Si wafer fabricated by EtOH chemical vapor deposition using Fe/Mo nanoparticles as catalyst exhibit a low percentage of metallic SWNTs (5%). Among other SWNTs about 62.3% are semiconducting SWNTs, and a small amount of nanotubes are quasimetallic. About 32% are a so-called quasi-insulator, which is caused inevitably by the defects during growth. Furthermore, the structural uniformity of the long SWNTs can be also evaluated by the deposition of Ag along the length and Raman spectroscopy. This method also provides an approach to deposit other metals on long SWNTs, which could have various potential applications such as for use as sensors, etc. More importantly, this facile method can be applied to long SWNT arrays fabricated from other different catalytic systems so that the relationship between the growth conditions and the structures of SWNTs are expected to be ruled out. 相似文献
