The structural and magnetic properties of Mn substituted Ni0.50−xMnxZn0.50Fe2O4 (where x=0.00, 0.10 and 0.20) sintered at various temperatures have been investigated thoroughly. The lattice parameter, average grain size and initial permeability increase with Mn substitution. Both bulk density and initial permeability increase with increasing sintering temperature from 1250 to 1300 °C and above 1300 °C they decrease. The Ni0.30Mn0.20Zn0.50Fe2O4 sintered at 1300 °C shows the highest relative quality factor and highest initial permeability among the studied samples. The initial permeability strongly depends on average grain size and intragranular porosity. From the magnetization as a function of applied magnetic field, M(H), it is clear that at room temperature all samples are in ferrimagnetic state. The number of Bohr magneton, n(μB), and Neel temperature, TN, decrease with increasing Mn substitution. It is found that Mn substitution in Ni0.50−xMnxZn0.50Fe2O4 (where x=0.20) decreases the Neel temperature by 25% but increases the initial permeability by 76%. Possible explanation for the observed characteristics of microstructure, initial permeability, DC magnetization and Neel temperature of the studied samples are discussed.  相似文献

The sonochemical luminescence intensity from luminol was measured at a sampling rate of several kilohertz. This was noted at three different periods: first, the latent period in which no light emission occurs at all; second, the increased emission period from the start of light emission to the time when a steady state is reached; and third, the steady state period in which light emission occurs at the steady state value. When irradiated with ultrasound of different intensities, the times of the latent period and increased emission period are shorter for higher ultrasound intensities. To know how the dissolved oxygen content is involved in early-stage cavitation growth, an experiment was conducted using solutions with varying dissolved oxygen contents from 100% to 37%. For dissolved air content of 50% or less, it was found that the latent period was 30 times longer in a saturated condition. It was also found that the increased emission period was 10 times longer. However, the emission intensity in the steady state did not change at all even when the initial dissolved gas concentration of the sample was changed. From this, it was found that the reuse of collapsed bubbles takes place efficiently in the steady state. Dissolved oxygen was reduced by the use of a vacuum pump and by the degassing action of ultrasound, and it was discovered that the behavior of transient emission differed for the two ways of degassing.  相似文献

Using a surface x-ray diffraction technique, we investigated the atomic structure of two types of interfaces between LaAlO3 and SrTiO3, that is, p-type (SrO/AlO2) and n-type (TiO2/LaO) interfaces. Our results demonstrate that the SrTiO3 in the sample with the n-type interface has a large polarized region, while that with the p-type interface has a limited polarized region. In addition, atomic intermixing was observed to extend deeper into the SrTiO3 substrate at the n-type interface compared to the p type. These differences result in distinct degrees of band bending, which likely contributes to the striking contrast in electrical conductivity between the two types of interfaces.  相似文献

The time development of the concentration of a spin-trapped OH radical was studied by electron spin resonance at various sound intensities and various 5,5-dimethyl-1-pyrroline N-oxide (DMPO) concentrations in water sonolysis. The lifetime of the spin-trapped OH radical was also studied, and factors governing sonolysis are discussed. We found that the production of spin-trapped OH radical increases with increasing ultrasound intensity. The lifetime of a spin-trapped OH radical decreases linearly with increase in sonication time. This result suggests that an unknown scavenger is produced by ultrasound. Based on the above results, we suggested a model of the reaction kinetics and estimated the production rate of OH radical from this model.  相似文献

Using a basic Mach-Zehnder interferometer, we demonstrate experimentally the measurement of the photonic de Broglie wavelength of entangled photon pairs (biphotons) generated by spontaneous parametric down-conversion. The observed interference manifests the concept of the photonic de Broglie wavelength. We also discuss the phase uncertainty obtained from the experiment.  相似文献

We consider the curvature-driven motion of an interface on a bounded domain that contacts with the boundary at the right angle and has triple junctions with prescribed angles. We derive a linearized system at a stationary interface, and obtain a characteristic function whose zeros correspond to the eigenvalues of the linearized operator. We discuss a mechanism by which, in theories with an explicitly broken supersymmetry, we can obtain calculable fermion masses, provided certain softly broken R symmetries are incorporated. The corresponding fermion representations are determined by the pattern of internal symmetry breakdown. This mechanism is explicitly studied in a simple U(1) model. Prospects and limitations of this idea for constructing realistic fermion spectra are discussed.  相似文献

We consider a model of quarks and leptons as quasi-Goldstone fermions which is based on an underlying supersymmetric SU(2)HC × SU(2)′HC preon theory. The spontaneous breakdown of a global U(6) × U(6)′ × U(1) symmetry to U(4) × U(4)′ × SU(2)diag creates both quarks and leptons and at the same time allows for the possibility of having either residual or fundamental weak interactions. Effective lagrangians in the confining phase of the theory are compared to those emerging from a complementary picture and the problems connected with the nature of the weak interactions are discussed in this context also.  相似文献
