Two polymorphic forms (I and II) of 4-fluorophenylpyruvic acid (F-PPA) were obtained by crystallization from different solvents, showing a melting point at 163.2 and 171.0 °C. Crystal structures of polymorphs I and II were determined by X-ray crystallography. IR and Raman spectra of the two polymorphs were measured and the spectral characteristics were compared with those of phenylpyruvic acid. the two polymorphs show similar molecular and crystal structures to each other, except for the molecular geometries of the enol and the carboxylic acid moieties. Distinct IR spectral differences which result from the crystal field splitting were observed between the two polymorphs.  相似文献

We developed a compact polarization-mode converter for microscopy to control three-dimensional polarization at the focus. The converter consisted of two homogeneously aligned liquid-crystal spatial light modulators with eight independently controllable electrodes (segments), and a quarter-waveplate. The converter converted a linearly polarized beam to three polarization modes: two orthogonal linear polarizations and a pseudo-radial polarization. We applied the converter to second-harmonic-generation microscopy and demonstrated the detection of three-dimensional molecular orientation.  相似文献

The influence of atomic displacements around a vacancy on the electrical resistivity due to vacancies in simple metals has been calculated by the pseudopotential method. The influence of atomic displacements on the electrical resistivity was very large and the resistivity has a minimum at an appropriate relaxation. Therefore it is very important to take into account the effect of the lattice distortions considering the individual atomic displacements around vacancies in the calculation of the electrical resistivity due to vacancies.  相似文献

Fiber-shaped cupric oxide (CuO) nanoparticles and flower-shaped ZnO nanoparticles were facilely synthesized by plasma-induced technique directly from copper and zinc electrode pair in water, respectively. The phase composition, morphologies and optical property of nanoparticles have been investigated by energy dispersive X-ray analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and UV–vis. The in situ analysis by an optical emission spectroscopy clarified the formation mechanism. Plasma was generated from the discharge between a metal electrode pair in water by a pulse direct current power. CuO and ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized via almost the same formation mechanism, which were prepared via the rapid energetic radicals’ bombardment to electrodes’ surface, atom vapour diffusion, plasma expansion, solution medium condensation, and in situ oxygen reaction and further growth. This novel plasma-induced technique will become a potential application in nanomaterials synthesis.  相似文献

The design and synthesis of a tweezer-shaped naphthalenediimide (NDI)–anthracene conjugate ( 2NDI ) are reported. In the structure of the closed form (πNDI ⋅⋅⋅ πNDI stack) of 2NDI , which was elucidated by single-crystal XRD, the existence of C−H ⋅⋅⋅ O hydrogen bonding involving the nearest carbonyl oxygen atom of an NDI unit was suggested. The tunability of πNDI ⋅⋅⋅ πNDI interactions was studied by means of UV/Vis absorption, fluorescence and NMR spectroscopy and molecular modelling. This revealed that the πNDI ⋅⋅⋅ πNDI interactions in 2NDI affect the absorption and emission properties depending on the temperature. Furthermore, in polar solvents, 2NDI prefers the stronger πNDI ⋅⋅⋅ πNDI stack, whereas the πNDI ⋅⋅⋅ πNDI interaction is diminished in nonpolar solvents. Importantly, the conformational variations of 2NDI can be reversibly switched by variation in temperature, and this suggests potential application for fluorogenic molecular switches upon temperature changes.  相似文献

An immunoassay in which BPA competed with a BPA-horseradish peroxidase conjugate for binding to anti-BPA antibodies, coupled to a piezoelectric (PZ) immunosensor, was able to detect 0.1 ng mL(-1) BPA. To enhance the sensitivity of the assay, we tested nanoparticles approximately 200 nm in diameter, coupled to anti-BPA antibodies, to increase the mass change on the surface of the immunosensor and thereby increase the frequency shift detected. This second step, using nanoparticles coated with anti-BPA antibodies, improved the sensitivity of the assay by approximately eight times at BPA concentrations below 10 ng mL(-1). Field emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) showed that polymeric 2-methacrolyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC) nanoparticles coupled to antibodies remained monodisperse on the surface of the immunosensor and therefore produced stable signals in the immunosensors. Since the frequency shift detected in the assay mainly originated from the mass change on the surface of the PZ crystal, the colloidal stability of the antibody-conjugated particles used in the enhancement step played an extremely important role in achieving a stable and highly sensitive signal.  相似文献

We have developed a high-yielding and stereoselective vinylogous Mukaiyama aldol reaction (VMAR) of α-haloenals. Contrary to the simple α,β-unsaturated aldehyde, α-haloenals were found to be reactive affording the corresponding VMAR adducts in excellent yields. Some transformations of VMAR adducts by Pd-mediated cross-coupling were also examined in order to demonstrate the synthetic utility of VMAR of α-haloenals.  相似文献
