It was tried to form Pickering emulsion by use of paraffin wax as a phase change material (PCM) and SiC as solid powder and to apply to the preparation of the hybrid microcapsules with the interfacial polycondensation reaction. Pickering emulsion could be formed by stirring PCM and SiC in the continuous water phase. The mean diameter of PCM droplets in the (O/W) emulsion decreased with the added amount of SiC. The SiC weight adhered on the surface of PCM droplets become the maximum in the continuous phase with pH 6.8. The hybrid microcapsules with the shell made of SiC and polyurea resin film could be prepared by using Pickering emulsion. There was a critical adhesion weight of SiC, above which the hybrid microcapsules could not be formed. Thermal conductivity of hybrid microcapsules could be improved as compared with the PCM microcapsules. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A pentafluorophenylammonium triflate (PFPAT) catalyst (5 mol %) successfully promoted C-acylation of enol silyl ethers with acid chloride to produce various beta-diketones (12 examples; 62-92% yield). Similarly, C-acylation of ketene silyl acetals or ketene silyl thioacetals (i.e., crossed Claisen condensation) proceeded smoothly to provide not only alpha-monoalkylated beta-keto (thio)esters but also thermodynamically unfavorable (less accessible) alpha,alpha-dialkylated beta-keto (thio)esters in good to excellent yield (38 examples; 60-92% yield).  相似文献

A new Cp*Ir catalyst bearing a 2-hydroxypyridine ligand has been designed on the concept of "ligand-promoted dehydrogenation". Enantiomers of bulky percyclohexylmethyl-substituted pillar[5]arene (Cy-C1-Pillar) were able to be separated by chiral column chromatography, and the separated enantiomers did not racemize. Linear polystyrene-stabilized PdO nanoparticles (PS-PdONPs) were prepared in water by thermal decomposition of Pd(OAc)(2) in the presence of polystyrene. The immobilization degree of palladium was dependent on the molecular weight of polystyrene, while the size of the Pd nanoparticles was not. Linear polystyrene-stabilized Pd nanoparticles (PS-PdNPs) were also prepared using NaBH(4) and phenylboronic acid as reductants. The catalytic activity of PS-PdONPs was slightly higher than that of PS-PdNPs for Suzuki coupling reaction in water. PS-PdONPs exhibited high catalytic activity for Suzuki and copper-free Sonogashira coupling reactions in water and recycled without loss of activity.  相似文献

m-Calix[3]amides carrying the bithiophene chromophore (BTC3A) and terthiophene chromophore (TTC3A) were synthesized by the cyclic trimerization of m-aminobenzoic acid esters for the purpose of the control and understanding of the self-assembly of oligothiophene chromophores. Polymers and model compounds were also prepared for comparison. From the (1)H NMR experiments, cyclic trimer BTC3A showed the syn/anti equilibrium in solution, and the syn/anti conformer ratio (76/24 in CDCl(3)) was influenced by the solvent character. Namely, the population of the syn conformer was lowest (70%) in THF-d(8) and was highest (86%) in CDCl(3)/CD(3)OD (1/1 in volume). On the other hand, the population of the syn conformer of cyclic trimer TTC3A was high (84%) even in CDCl(3). In a CHCl(3) solution of cyclic trimer BTC3A, the absorption maximum (342 nm) blue-shifted and the emission maximum (448 nm) red-shifted compared with those of polymer BTPA and model compound BTM. The solvent character also had an impact on the optical properties of cyclic trimer BTC3A. The red-shifted emission maximum (481 nm) of cyclic trimer BTC3A in CH(3)OH indicated the interaction between three bithiophene chromophores. The emission maxima of cyclic trimer TTC3A (486 nm) demonstrated a small red-shift from model compound TTM (477 nm), and no solvent dependency was observed, unlike cyclic trimer BTC3A.  相似文献

We synthesized chiral-substituents modified pillar[5]arene for the first time. The chiral-substituents modified pillar[5]arene showed planar chirality and interconversion between (pS) and (pR) forms took place quickly. The planar chirality was switched by temperature, solvents, and addition of achiral guest. As the measurement temperature increased, the diastereomeric excess was decreased. The diastereomeric excesses were high in low-permittivity solvents, while a low diastereomeric excess was observed in high-permittivity solvents. Addition of achiral guest induced an increase of negative CD intensities.  相似文献

Metal-metal multiply bonded complexes in their singlet state have been predicted to form a novel class of "σ-dominant" third-order nonlinear optical compounds based on the results of dichromium(II) and dimolybdenum(II) systems (H. Fukui et al. J. Phys. Chem. Lett.2011, 2, 2063) whose second hyperpolarizabilities (γ) are enhanced by the contribution of the dσ electrons with an intermediate diradical character. In this study, using the spin-unrestricted coupled-cluster method with singles and doubles as well as with perturbative triples, we investigate the dependences of γ on the group and on the period of the transition metals as well as on their atomic charges in several open-shell singlet dimetallic systems. A significant enhancement of γ is observed in those dimetallic systems composed of (i) transition metals with a small group number, (ii) transition metals with a large periodic number, and (iii) transition metals with a small positive charge. From the decomposition of the γ values into the contributions of dσ, dπ, and dδ electrons, the γ enhancements are shown to originate from the dσ contribution, because it corresponds to the intermediate diradical character region. Furthermore, the amplitude of dσ contribution turns out to be related to the size of the d(z(2)) atomic orbital of the transition metal, which accounts for the dependence of γ on the group, on the period, and on the charge of the metal atoms. These dependences provide a guideline for an effective molecular design of highly efficient third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) systems based on the metal-metal bonded systems.  相似文献

Objective

The pathological changes in Parkinson disease begin in the brainstem; reach the limbic system and ultimately spread to the cerebral cortex. In Parkinson disease (PD) patients, we evaluated the alteration of cingulate fibers, which comprise part of the limbic system, by using diffusional kurtosis imaging (DKI).

Methods

Seventeen patients with PD and 15 age-matched healthy controls underwent DKI with a 3-T MR imager. Diffusion tensor tractography images of the anterior and posterior cingulum were generated. The mean kurtosis (MK) and conventional diffusion tensor parameters measured along the images in the anterior and posterior cingulum were compared between the groups. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis was also performed to compare the diagnostic abilities of the MK and conventional diffusion tensor parameters.

Results

The MK and fractional anisotropy (FA) in the anterior cingulum were significantly lower in PD patients than in healthy controls. The area under the ROC curve was 0.912 for MK and 0.747 for FA in the anterior cingulum. MK in the anterior cingulum had the best diagnostic performance (mean cutoff, 0.967; sensitivity, 0.87; specificity, 0.94).

Conclusions

DKI can detect alterations of the anterior cingulum in PD patients more sensitively than can conventional diffusion tensor imaging. Use of DKI can be expected to improve the ability to diagnose PD.  相似文献

A new catalytic system for the dehydrogenative oxidation of alcohols using a water-soluble Cp*Ir complex bearing a bipyridine-based functional ligand as catalyst has been developed. With this catalytic system, a variety of primary and secondary alcohols have been efficiently converted to aldehydes and ketones, respectively, in aqueous media without using any oxidant. Reuse of the catalyst by a very simple procedure has been also accomplished.  相似文献
