In this study, we investigated how the presence of multiple intermolecular interaction sites influences the heteromeric supramolecular assembly of N-[(3-pyridinylamino) thioxomethyl] carbamates with fluoroiodobenzenes. Three targets—R-N-[(3-pyridinylamino) thioxomethyl] carbamate (R = methyl, ethyl, and isobutyl)—were selected and crystallized, resulting in three parent structures, five co-crystals, and one co-crystal solvate. Three hydrogen-bonded parent crystal structures were stabilized by N-H···N hydrogen bonding and assembled into layers that stacked on top of one another. Molecular electrostatic potential surfaces were employed to rank binding sites (Npyr > C=S > C=O) in order to predict the dominant interactions. The N-H⋯H hydrogen bond was replaced by I⋯Npyr in 3/6 cases, I⋯C=S in 4/6 cases, and I⋯O=C in 1 case. Interestingly, the I⋯C=S halogen bond coexisted twice with I⋯Npyr and I⋯O=C. Overall, the MEPs were fairly reliable for predicting co-crystallization outcomes; however, it is crucial to also consider factors such as molecular flexibility. Finally, halogen-bond donors are capable of competing for acceptor sites, even in the presence of strong hydrogen-bond donors.  相似文献

A robust, click‐chemistry‐inspired procedure for radiolabeling of cyclic ureas was developed. This protocol, suitable for all carbon isotopes (11C, 13C, 14C), is based on the direct functionalization of carbon dioxide: the universal building block for carbon radiolabeling. The strategy is operationally simple and reproducible in different radiochemistry centers, exhibits remarkably wide substrate scope with short reaction times, and demonstrates superior reactivity as compared to previously reported systems. With this procedure, a variety of pharmaceuticals and an unprotected peptide were labeled with high radiochemical efficiency.  相似文献

A method of assessing the potential of an inspection maintenance policy as opposed to an existing breakdown maintenance policy for a building complex is developed. The method is based upon information likely to be available and specific subjective assessments which could be made available. The binding of two cationic surfactants, dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DoTAB) and N-(1,1,2,2-tetrahydroperfluorodecanyl)pyridinium bromide (HFDePB), to covalently cross-linked sodium poly(styrenesulfonate) (PSS) microgels has been investigated by means of micromanipulator-assisted time-resolved light microscopy on single gels. It is demonstrated that repeated measurements on the same microgel under conditions of controlled liquid flow give highly reproducible results. The two surfactants are found to behave very differently with respect to degree of swelling, surfactant distribution in the gels, both during shrinking and at equilibrium, and kinetics of volume changes induced by them. The main difference is attributed to the presence of a hydrophobic interaction between PSS and the DoTAB micelles, absent in the case of HFDePB. Kinetic shrinking curves are recorded and analyzed using a model for steady-state transport of surfactant between the solution and the gels. Aggregation numbers for DoTAB in PSS solutions obtained from fluorescence quenching measurements are presented. A strong dependence on the surfactant-to-polyion concentration ratio is observed. Relations between surfactant binding isotherms, phase diagrams for linear polyelectrolyte/surfactant/water systems, and the binding to gels are discussed.  相似文献
