Damage and fracture evaluation of granular composite materials by digital image correlation method

This paper presents the applications of digital image correlation technique to the mesoscopic damage and fracture study of some granular based composite materials including steelfiber reinforced concrete, sandstone and crystal-polymer composite. The deformation fields of the composite materials resulted from stress localization were obtained by the correlation computation of the surface images with loading steps and thus the related damage prediction and fracture parameters were evaluated. The correlation searching could be performed either directly based on the gray levels of the digital images or from the wavelet transform (WT) coefficients of the transform spectrum. The latter was developed by the authors and showed higher resolution and sensitivity to the singularity detection. Because the displacement components came from the rough surfaces of the composite materials without any coats of gratings or fringes of optical interferometry, both surface profiles and the deformation fields of the composites were visualized which was helpful to compare each other to analyze the damage of those heterogeneous materials. Low-threshold interband cascade lasers operating above room temperature

Mid-IR type-II interband cascade lasers were demonstrated in pulsed mode at temperatures up to 325 K and in continuous mode up to 200 K. At 80 K, the threshold current density was 8.9 A/cm² and a continuous wave output power of 140 mW/facet was obtained.

提出了基于Karhunen Lo埁ｖｅ变换的小波谱特征矢量量化三维谱像数据压缩方法耍幔颍瑁酰睿澹?Lo埁ｖｅ变换 /小波变换 /小波谱特征矢量量化方法应用了Karhunen Lo埁ｖｅ变换的消除谱相关性优良性能 ,应用二维小波变换消除空间相关性 ,在小波变换域内应用二维集分割嵌入块编码和一维谱特征矢量量化对三维谱像数据压缩 ,获得较高的压缩性能。实验结果表明 :Karhunen Lo埁ｖｅ变换 /小波变换 /小波谱特征矢量量化编码比Karhunen Lo埁ｖｅ变换 /小波变换 /改进对块零树编码和Karhunen Lo埁ｖｅ变换 /小波变换 /快速矢量量化编码方法在同样压缩比条件下 ,峰值信噪比提高 2dB和 1dB以上 ,而速度提高了 1.5和 8倍 ,整体压缩性能有较大的提高     

GI／G／1单重休假随机服务系统的马氏骨架方法

文献[1]引入一类具有广泛应用前景的随机过程-Markov骨架过程。借助Markov骨架过程的方法研究GI/G/1单重休假服务系统队长，及t时刻到达顾客等待时间的瞬时概率分布。     

狄拉克方程的单旋量解法以及由此引起的认识上的差异

把狄拉克方程分解成了两个单旋量的联立方程组．指出现行的自旋理论仅考虑了其中的一个方程，是以一个单旋量代替双旋量来描述状态而建立起来的．笔者在认同现行自旋理论可以作为狄拉克方程的一种求解方法，因而同意其中的某些提法外，对于其主要的物理观念：微观粒子存在着独立于现实的位形空间之外的一个自旋空间，在这个自旋空间内禀着角动量S和磁矩μ；这个自旋理论是相对论性量子力学导出的必然结论等等看法予以否定．笔者认为，只有同时考虑两个单旋量的方程，同时计及两个单旋量，才能准确地描述状态，从而正确地描述客观规律．     

Experimental 511 W Composite Nd：YAG Ceramic Laser

We demonstrate a 511 W laser diode pumped composite Nd：YAG ceramic laser. The optical pumping system is consisted of five laser diode stacked arrays arranged in a pentagonal shape around the ceramic rod whose size is φ6.35×144mm. When the pumping power is 1600 W, the cw laser output up to 511 W at 1064nm can be obtained with a linear piano-piano cavity, and the optical-to-optical efficiency is 31.9%. To our knowledge, this is the highest value of laser output by using a newly invented composite Nd：YAG ceramic rod as the gain medium.     

Existence of positive solutions for three-point boundary value problems at resonance

With the help of the theorem of a fixed point index for A-proper semilinear operators established by Cremins, we get a existence theorem concerning the existence of positive solution for the second order ordinary differential equation of three-point boundary value problems at resonance.
