By application of different unique microphotometric sensors it is possible to detect and quantify disturbing particles (gels, unmolten resins, black spots, additive agglomerates, bubbles) within a flowing polymer melt in realtime during extrusion processing. These particles result in disadvantageous optical and mechanical properties of a final polymer product. Sensors can be adapted inline and online to different extruders at various positions. This seems to give technical and economic benefit to quality control and process optimisation in polymer processing.  相似文献

We present surface micro-modifications of bariumalumoborosilicate glasses with a high transformation temperature near 700 °C. Laser processing of the glass substrate was realized by using ultra-short laser pulses at 800 nm. The morphological conversion of the laser-treated surfaces was characterized by scanning force microscopy and nano-indentation. A hardness increase by at least a factor of six on the laser ablation crater edge relative to illuminated non- ablated areas shows that the material in the crater walls underwent drastic morphological and mechanical changes. In this heat- and shock-affected zone, the material became more elastic as a result of increased stress.  相似文献

The neutron g 9/2 single-particle state in 57Ni has been unambiguously identified in a combined measurement of the linear polarization, angular distribution, and angular correlation of γ rays following the fusion-evaporation reaction 28Si(32S,2pn)57Ni at a beam energy of 90 MeV. The linear polarization was measured with a Euroball cluster detector and a prototype of an encapsulated six-fold segmented hexaconical Ge-detector. The spin of the 3701 keV level in 57Ni was confirmed to be I= 9/2 and its parity determined to be positive. Received: 24 September 1999 / Revised version: 22 October 1999  相似文献

High-spin states of nuclei near doubly magic 56Ni were studied with the reaction 28Si(36Ar,xpynzα) at 136 MeV beam energy. The Gammasphere array in conjunction with the 4π charged-particle detector array Microball and neutron detectors were used to detect γ rays in coincidence with evaporated light particles. The resulting extensive decay schemes of 54Fe, 54,55Co, 56,57Ni, and 58Cu are compared to shell model calculations in the fp shell. Technical and economic considerations have given polymer blends a major share in the increasing sales of plastics. This applies both to general-purpose and to the higher value-added materials. Thus it is scarcely surprising that almost all polymer manufacturers have now developed comprehensive ranges of blends having particular property profiles. The principal types of blends currently available are described. The variety of products already developed should not be allowed to obscure the fact that certain conceivable and highly attractive property combinations have not so far been realized. If progress is to be made in this area, interdisciplinary cooperation between chemists and physicists in the fields of polymer chemistry, polymer physics and materials science is essential.  相似文献
