The project of the Low-Energy Particle Toroidal Accumulator (LEPTA) has been developed and is put into operation at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna). The LEPTA facility is a small positron storage ring equipped with an electron cooling system. The project positron energy is 2?C4 keV. The main purpose of the facility is to generate an intense flux of positronium atoms (the bound state of the electron and positron). The LEPTA storage ring was commissioned in September 2004. The positron injector was designed in 2005?C2010, and the beam transport channel was constructed in 2011. The experiments on electron and positron injection from the injector into the accumulator were started in August 2011. The results are reported here.  相似文献

The quadricyclane-norbornadiene system is an important model for the isomerization dynamics between highly strained molecules. In a breakthrough observation for a polyatomic molecular system of that complexity, we follow the photoionization from Rydberg states in the time-domain to derive a measure for the time-dependent structural dynamics and the time-evolving structural dispersion even while the molecule is crossing electronic surfaces. The photoexcitation to the 3s and 3p Rydberg states deposits significant amounts of energy into vibrational motions. We observe the formation and evolution of the vibrational wavepacket on the Rydberg surface and the internal conversion from the 3p Rydberg states to the 3s state. In that state, quadricyclane isomerizes to norbornadiene with a time constant of τ(2) = 136(45) fs. The lifetime of the 3p Rydberg state in quadricyclane is τ(1) = 320(31) and the lifetime of the 3s Rydberg state in norbornadiene is τ(3) = 394(32).  相似文献

A number of tetramethylammonium (TMA) iodides, including mono-, tri-, and pentaiodide, were synthesized. Thermal decomposition of samples was investigated by simultaneous TG–DSC analysis accompanied by gaseous IR- and mass-spectrometry analyses. Two different reaction pathways have been observed for TMA pentaiodide at different heating rates. At low heating rates (1–5 K min?1), a gradual mass loss takes place and a stability plateau due to monoiodide formation exists on TG curve. At high heating rates (10, 15 and 7 K min?1 as the in-between stage), there are only two peaks on DTG curve (instead of three for lower heating rates) and no monoiodide formation is observed as the sample decomposes completely before 350 °C.  相似文献

Data obtained for the kinetics of oxidation of diethyl sulfide (Et2S) by hydrogen peroxide in aqueous solution catalyzed by boric acid indicate that monoperoxoborates B(O2H)(OH) 3 and diperoxoborates B(O2H)2(OH) 2 are the active species. The first measurements of turbulent stresses and flows inside the separatrix of a tokamak H-mode plasma are reported, using a reciprocating multitip Langmuir probe at the DIII-D tokamak. A strong co-current rotation layer at the separatrix is found to precede intrinsic rotation development in the core. The measured fluid turbulent stresses transport toroidal momentum outward against the velocity gradient and thus try to sustain the edge layer. However, large kinetic stresses must exist to explain the net inward momentum transport leading to co-current core plasma rotation. The importance of such kinetic stresses is corroborated by the success of a simple orbit loss model, representing a purely kinetic mechanism, in the prediction of features of the edge corotation layer.  相似文献

The equilibrium stability is investigated of a system consisting of two semi-infinite isothermal masses of fluid divided by a horizontal layer of finite thickness of the same fluid with a vertical temperature gradient directed downwards. The transition layer is separated by thin permeable membranes. Neutral stability curves are constructed for different membrane resistances. In the case of high permeability, the equilibrium is absolutely unstable with respect to monotonic-type longwave perturbations.
