The nonlinear propagation of cylindrical and spherical dust-ion-acoustic (DIA) envelope solitary waves in unmagnetized dusty plasma consisting of dust particles with opposite polarity and non-extensive distribution of electron is investigated. By using the reductive perturbation method, the modified nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation in cylindrical and spherical geometry is obtained. The modulational instability (MI) of DIA waves governed by the NLS equation is also presented. The effects of different ranges of the non-extensive parameter q on the MI are studied. The growth rate of the MI is also given for different values of q. It is found that the basic features of the DIA waves are significantly modified by non-extensive electron distribution, polarity of the net dust-charge number density and non-planar geometry.  相似文献

We present a detailed study of harmonic generation in Bi(Pb)SrCaCuO superconducting thick film prepared by screen printing technique. A comparative study of amplitude of harmonics of two films of different Jc have been carried out. The variation of amplitudes of the harmonics are studied as a function of magnitude of ac and dc field. The temperature dependence of amplitude of third harmonic (V3) is studied with increasing amplitude as well as frequency of ac field. These results are analyzed in the frame work of critical state model. V3 -T curve also indicates the presence of two phases in Bi(Pb)SrCaCuO film.  相似文献

M-shell ionization cross sections for atoms due to the impact of proton and α-particles have been calculated in the binary encounter approximation. The effects of Coulomb deflection of the incident projectile and increase in binding of the target electron have been investigated. Roothan-Hartree-Fock velocity distribution for the target electrons has been used in the present work. The calculated cross-sections have been compared with experimental results and other theoretical calculations wherever available. The transfer of an electron from the occupied 2s(F?) to the empty 4s (Mn2+-F? by lattice-vibrational modulation of attractive nuclear potential is discovered to give rise to the correct reduction of the magnitude of hyperfine interaction of Mn2+ ion accompanied by a reduction of superhyperfine coupling of 19F. The Green function technique has been employed to study the dynamic susceptibility of a spin-1 system above the Curie temperature. Bilinear and biquadratic terms have been added in writing the Hamiltonian of the system. Higher order Green functions have been decoupled by RPA and Callen type decouplings.
