The syntheses and X-ray structures of three isomeric 1D coordination polymers are reported. The complex [Co(dbm)2(MeOH)2] (1) was used as a precursor in these reactions. The preparation and structure of 1 is also presented; this mononuclear complex is in the cis configuration because this allows the formation of a network of intermolecular hydrogen bonds in the solid state. Reaction of 1 with 2,4,6-tris-(4-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine (4ptz) yields the polymers [Co(dbm)2(4ptz)]n.nTHF (2a), [Co(dbm)2(4ptz)]n.0.75nTHF.0.5nEt2O (2b), and [Co(dbm)2(4ptz)]n.3nDMF (2c) in the form of zigzag chains, instead of the expected honeycomb architectures. This is because of the establishment of extended pi-pi stacking throughout these solids, which could not have occurred otherwise. Compounds 2a, 2b, and 2c are solvatomorphs, and formation of either one of them depends on the exact conditions of crystallization, which lead to significant differences in the supramolecular organization of the chains. Bulk magnetic measurements on 2a reveal weak antiferromagnetic exchange within the chains and small ordering throughout the solid that results in the manifestation of the phenomenon of spin canting, whereas for 2c the different supramolecular organization causes the antiferromagnetic exchange not to result in spin canting.  相似文献

The redox‐active and chelating diphosphine, 3,4‐dimethyl‐3′,4′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐tetrathiafulvalene, denoted as P2 , is engaged in a series of platinum complexes, [(P2)Pt(dithiolene)], with different dithiolate ligands, such as 1,2‐benzenedithiolate (bdt), 1,3‐dithiole‐2‐thione‐4,5‐dithiolate (dmit), and 5,6‐dihydro‐1,4‐dithiin‐2,3‐dithiolate (dddt). The complexes are structurally characterized by X‐ray diffraction, together with a model compound derived from bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane, namely, [(dppe)Pt(dddt)] . Four successive reversible electron‐transfer processes are found for the [(P2)Pt(dddt)] complex, associated with the two covalently linked but electronically uncoupled electrophores, that is, the TTF core and the platinum dithiolene moiety. The assignments of the different redox processes to either one or the other electrophore is made thanks to the electrochemical properties of the model compound [(dppe)Pt(dddt)] lacking the TTF redox core, and with the help of theoretical calculations (DFT) to understand the nature and energy of the frontier orbitals of the [(P2)Pt(dithiolene)] complexes in their different oxidation states. The first oxidation of the highly electron‐rich [(P2)Pt(dddt)] complex can be unambiguously assigned to the redox process affecting the Pt(dddt) moiety rather than the TTF core, a rare example in the coordination chemistry of tetrathiafulvalenes acting as ligands.  相似文献

Control of ionic transport through nanoporous systems is a topic of scientific interest for the ability to create new devices that are applicable for ions and molecules in water solutions. We show the preparation of an ionic transistor based on single conical nanopores in polymer films with an insulated gold thin film “gate.” By changing the electric potential applied to the “gate,” the current through the device can be changed from the rectifying behavior of a typical conical nanopore to the almost linear behavior seen in cylindrical nanopores. The mechanism for this change in transport behavior is thought to be the enhancement of concentration polarization induced by the gate. A range of tricyclic nitrogen heterocycles were synthesized in a straightforward and efficient manner via a sequence involving palladium-catalyzed N-arylation and C(sp(3))-H arylation as the key steps. Whereas the C(sp(3))-H arylation furnished fused 6,5,6-membered ring systems efficiently, the formation of the more strained 6,5,5-membered systems proved to be more challenging and required a subtle adjustment of the reaction conditions.  相似文献

Dry aqueous foams made of anionic surfactant (SDS) and spherical gold nanoparticles are studied by small angle X-ray scattering and by optical techniques. To obtain stable foams, the surfactant concentration is well above the critical micelle concentration. The specular reflectivity signal obtained on a very thin film (thickness 20 nm) shows that functionalized nanoparticles (17 nm typical size) are trapped within the film in the form of a single monolayer. In order to isolate the film behavior, investigations are made on a single film confined in a tube. The film thinning according to the ratio of functionalized nanoparticle and SDS micelles (1:1, 1:10, 1:100) is mainly governed by the structural arrangement of SDS micelles. In thick films, nanoparticles tend to form aggregates that disappear during drainage. In particular self-organization of nanoparticles (with different surface charge) inside the film is not detected.  相似文献

Time-resolved fluorescence spectra from the RuN719 dye exhibit very short lifetimes (<30 fs) in solutions, on non-injecting substrates and on injecting ones. This reveals <10 fs intramolecular energy redistribution competing with the injection. We conclude that injection proceeds on a sub-10 fs time scale from non-thermalized levels of the dye.  相似文献

Oxidation of some 2-(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl)ferrocenylalkylcarbinols by MnO2 is totally diastereoselective: only one diastereomer is oxidized. A study was performed to highlight the influential factors of this phenomenon. Several ferrocenyl alcohols have been studied. First, two diastereomers of the ferrocenyl amino alcohol bearing a deuterium as an R group have been synthesized and oxidized. The good reactivity of both diastereomers displayed the importance of the size of the alkyl group, which needs to be bulkier than a deuterium. The synthesis and the oxidation of endo- and exo-α-hydroxy [4](1,2)ferrocenophane enabled the elimination of the hypothesis involving the spatial position of the hydroxy group, while the two diastereomers were oxidized. The replacement of the dimethylamino group by a methoxy or a methyl, the oxidation of these compounds, and the study of the preferential conformation of each diastereomer showed clearly the influence of an intramolecular hydrogen bond. So,the diastereoselectivity was shown to depend on the steric bulk of the alkyl group and on the presence of a strong intramolecular hydrogen bond between the hydroxy group and the nitrogen.  相似文献

The use of photodynamic therapy (PDT) to treat cancer has received increasing attention over the last years. However, the clinically used photosensitisers (PSs) have some limitations that include poor aqueous solubility, hepatotoxicity, photobleaching, aggregation, and slow clearance from the body, so the design of new classes of PSs is of great interest. We present the use of bis(dipyrrinato)zinc(II) complexes with exceptionally long lifetimes as efficient PDT PSs. Based on the heavy‐atom effect, intersystem crossing of these complexes changes the excited state from singlet to a triplet state, thereby enabling singlet oxygen generation. To overcome the limitation of quenching effects in water and improve water solubility, the lead compound 3 was encapsulated in a polymer matrix. It showed impressive phototoxicity upon irradiation at 500 nm in various monolayer cancer cells as well as 3D multicellular tumour spheroids, without observed dark toxicity.  相似文献

Mass spectrometry imaging of lipids using MALDI–TOF/TOF mass spectrometers is of growing interest for chemical mapping of organic compounds at the surface of tissue sections. Many efforts have been devoted to the best matrix choice and deposition technique. Nevertheless, the identification of lipid species desorbed from tissue sections remains problematic. It is now well-known that protonated, sodium- and potassium-cationized lipids are detected from biological samples, thus complicating the data analysis. A new sample preparation method is proposed, involving the use of lithium salts in the matrix solution in order to simplify the mass spectra with only lithium-cationized molecules instead of a mixture of various cationized species. Five different lithium salts were tested. Among them, lithium trifluoroacetate and lithium iodide merged the different lipid adducts into one single lithium-cationized species. An optimized sample preparation protocol demonstrated that the lithium trifluoroacetate salt slightly increased desorption of phosphatidylcholines. Mass spectrometry images acquired on rat brain tissue sections by adding lithium trifluoroacetate showed the best results in terms of image contrast. Moreover, more structurally relevant fragments were generated by tandem mass spectrometry when analyzing lithium-cationized species.  相似文献

The [2.2.2]hericene ( 6 ), a bicyclo[2.2.2]octane bearing three exocyclic s-cis-butadiene units has been prepared in eight steps from coumalic acid and maleic anhydride. The hexaene 6 adds successively three mol-equiv. of strong dienophiles such as ethylenetetracarbonitrile (TCE) and dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate (DMAD) giving the corresponding monoadducts 17 and 20 (k1), bis-adducts 18 and 21 (k2) and tris-adducts 19 and 22 (k3), respectively. The rate constant ratio k1/k2 is small as in the case of the cycloadditions of 2,3,5,6-tetramethylidene-bicyclo [2.2.2]octane ( 3 ) giving the corresponding monoadducts 23 and 27 (k1) and bis-adducts 25 and 29 (k2) with TCE and DMAD, respectively. Constrastingly, the rate constant ratio k2/k3 is relatively large as the rate constant ratio k1/k2 of the Diels-Alder additions for 5,6,7,8-tetramethylidenebicyclo [2.2.2]oct-2-ene ( 4 ) giving the corresponding monoadducts 24 and 28 (k1) and bis-adducts 26 and 30 (k2). The following second-order rate constants (toluene, 25°) and activation parameters were obtained for the TCE additions: 3 +TCE→ 23 : k1 = 0.591±0.012 mol?1·l·s?1, ΔH=10.6±0.4 kcal/mol, and ΔS = ?24.0±1.4 cal/mol·K (e.u.); 23 +TCE→ 25 : k2=0.034±0.0010 mol?1·l·s?1, ΔH = 10.6±0.6 kcal/mol, and ΔS = ?29.7±2.0 e.u.; 4 +TCE→ 26 : k1 = 0.172±0.035 mol?1·l·s?1, ΔH 11.3±0.8 kcal/mol, and ΔS = ?24.0±2.8 e.u.; 24 +TCE→ 26 : k2 = (6.1±0.2)·10?4 mol?1·l·s?1, ΔH = 13.0±0.3 kcal/mol, and ΔS = ?29.5±0.8 e.u.; 6 +TCE→ 17 : k1 = 0.136±0.002 mol?1·l·s?1, ΔH = 11.3±0.2 kcal/mol, and ΔS = ?24.5±0.8 e.u.; 17 +TCE→ 18 : k2 = 0.0156±0.0003 mol?1·l·s?1, ΔH = 10.9±0.5 kcal/mol, and ΔS = ?30.1 ± 1.5 e.u.; 18 +TCE→ 19 : k3=(5±0.2) · 10?5 mol?1 mol?1 ·l·s?1, ΔH = 15±3 kcal/mol, and ΔS = ?28 ± 8 e.u. The following rate constants were evaluated for the DMAD additions (CD2Cl2, 30°): 6 +DMAD→ 20 : k1 = (10±1)·10?4 mol?1 · l·s?1; 20 +DMAD→ 21 : k2 = (6.5±0.1) · 10?4 mol?1 ·l·?1; 21 +DMAD→ 22 : k3 = (1.0±0.1) · 10?4 mol?1 ·l·s?1. The reactions giving the barrelene derivatives 19, 22, 26 and 30 are slower than those leading to adducts that are not barrelenes. The former are estimated less exothermic than the latter. It is proposed that the Diels-Alder reactivity of exocyclic s-cis-butadienes grafted onto bicycle [2.2.1]heptanes and bicyclo [2.2.2]octanes that are modified by remote substitution of the bicyclic skeletons can be affected by changes inthe exothermicity of the cycloadditions, in agreement with the Dimroth and Bell-Evans-Polanyi principle. Force-field calculations (MMPI 1) of 3, 4, 6 and related exocyclic s-cis-butadienes as a moiety of bicyclo [2.2.2]octane suggested single minimum energy hypersurfaces for these systems (eclipsed conformations, planar dienes). Their flexibility decreases with the degree of unsaturation of the bicyclic skeleton. The effect of an endocyclic double bond is larger than that of an exocyclic diene moiety.  相似文献
