Synthesis and study of ammonium decamolybdodimetallates

Ammonium decamolybdodimetallates (NH₄)_n[M₂Mo₁₀O₃₄(OH)₄] · 7H₂O, where M = Cr³⁺ (n = 6), Cu²⁺ (n = 8), or Ni²⁺ (n = 8), were synthesized for the first time and studied by X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry, and IR spectroscopy. The compounds crystallize in the triclinic system with the following unit cell parameters: a = 10.68(2) Å, b = 9.46(2) Å, c = 7.97(2) Å, α = 75.12(3)°, β = 96.82(3)°, γ = 102.21(3)°, V = 754.4(3) ų, ρ_calcd = 4.05 g/cm³, Z = 1 for the chromium compound; and a = 10.57(2) Å, b = 9.29(2) Å, c = 8.47(2) Å, α = 73.91(3)°, β = 96.05(3)°, γ = 104.71(3)°, V = 854.3(3) ų, ρ_calcd = 3.68 g/cm³, Z = 1 (for the copper compound); and a = 10.96(2) Å, b = 8.95(2) Å, c = 7.40(2) Å, α = 71.76(3)°, β = 97.04(3)°, γ = 102.91(3)°, V = 875.3(3)ų, ρ_calcd = 3.65 g/cm₃, Z = 1 for the nickel compound.     

Acid nickel oxovanadate [Ni(H2O)6]2[H2V10O28] · 6H2O: Synthesis, IR spectra, thermal analysis, and crystal structure

Acid nickel oxovanadate, [Ni(H₂O)₆]₂[H₂V₁₀O₂₈] · 6H₂O (I) was synthesized and studied by X-ray diffraction analysis, thermogravimetry, powder X-ray diffraction, and IR spectroscopy. Synthesis, thermogravimetric analysis, IR spectrum, and the crystal structure of sodium hexatunstomanganate [Na2(H2O)10][Na(H2O)3]2[MnW6O18(OH)6] · 6H2O

The complex [Na₂(H₂O)₁₀][Na(H₂O)₃]₂[MnW₆O₁₈(OH)₆] · 6H₂O was synthesized and studied by mass spectrometry, thermogravimetry, IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction. The crystals are monoclinic, space group P2₁/n, a = 11.698(2), b = 11.670(2), c = 14.652(3) ?, β = 102.52(3)°, V = 1952.7(7) ?³, ρ(calcd.)= 3.45 g/cm³, Z = 2.     

Study of acid pyridine-3-carboxylic acid dodecatungstenphosphate of the composition (C6NO2H5)2H[PW12O40]·2H2O

Acid pyridine-3-carboxylic acid dodecatungstenphosphate (C₆NO₂H₅)₂H[PW₁₂O₄₀]·2H₂O is synthesized. The compound is studied by chemical analysis, IR spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, and thermogravimetry. The compound is found to crystallize at 290 K in a hexagonal crystal system (space group \(R\bar 3\) ) (I) with the unit cell parameters: a = 33.015(6) Å, c = 12.010(2) Å, γ = 120°, V = 11337(4) ų, Z = 9. When the temperature decreases to 100 K, a phase transition is observed leading to an increase in symmetry to \(R\bar 3m\) (II), with the unit cell parameters: a = 33.072(1) Å, c = 24.234(1) Å, γ = 120°, V = 22955(2) ų, Z = 18.

6-Piperidinomethyl-2,3-dihydroquercetin dodecatungstophosphate (C₅H₁₀NH-CH₂-C₁₅H₁₁O₇)₂ · H[PW₁₂O₄₀] · 10H₂O (I) was synthesized and studied by chemical analysis, mass spectrometry, IR and NMR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis.
