Complex networks are characterized based on a newly proposed parameter, “degree of diffusion α”. It defines the ratio of information adopters to non-adopters within a diffusion process over consecutive penetration depths. Furthermore, the perfectness of a social network is evaluated by exploring different variations of α such as the reverse diffusion (αreverse) and the random-kill-diffusion (RKD) processes. The analysis of αreverse and RKD processes shows information diffusion irreversibility in small-world and scale-free but not in random networks. It also shows that random networks are more stable toward attacks, resulting a complete information diffusion process over the entire network. Finally, a real Complex network example, represented as a “virtual friendship network” was analyzed and found to share properties of both random and small-world networks. Therefore, it is characterized to be somewhere between random and small-world network models or in other words, it is a randomized small-world network model.  相似文献

An algorithm is developed for finding the global minimum of a continuously differentiable function on a compact interval in R1. The function is assumed to be the sum of a convex and a concave function, each of which belongs to C1[a, b]. Any one-dimensional function with a bounded second derivative can be so written and, therefore, such functions generally have many local minima. The algorithm utilizes the structure of the objective to produce an ?-optimal solution by a sequence of simple one-dimensional convex programs.  相似文献

This paper investigates fractional Kalman filters when time-delay is entered in the observation signal in the discrete-time stochastic fractional order state-space representation. After investigating the common fractional Kalman filter, we try to derive a fractional Kalman filter for time-delay fractional systems. A detailed derivation is given. Fractional Kalman filters will be used to estimate recursively the states of fractional order state-space systems based on minimizing the cost function when there is a constant time delay (d) in the observation signal. The problem will be solved by converting the filtering problem to a usual d-step prediction problem for delay-free fractional systems.  相似文献

In the preparation of nanocomposites, there is competition between the dispersion of nanoparticles and the formation of agglomerates. In this study, radical copolymerization of ethyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate initiated by 2,2‐azobis (isobutyro) nitrile (AIBN) was performed, in the presence of titanium oxide (TiO2) nanoparticles modified in a new approach; a good dispersion of the nanoparticles in the unsaturated polyester (UP) matrix was obtained. The TiO2 nanoparticles were exposed to 3‐(methacryloxy) propyl trimethoxy silane as the coupling agent. The presence of coupling agent‐grafted TiO2 nanoparticles in the copolymerization process resulted in the formation of a polymeric layer on the surface of the TiO2 nanoparticles (doubly modified‐TiO2). The grafting of coupling agent molecules and consequently copolymer macromolecular chains onto the surface of TiO2 nanoparticles was investigated using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis. It found that the formation of an acrylate layer on the surface of nanoparticles was successful. Then, unsaturated polyester (UP)/TiO2 nanocomposites were prepared. The morphology was studied using transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Mechanical properties and ultraviolet visible (UV/VIS) spectroscopy of various samples, including the doubly modified‐TiO2 nanoparticles, with different nanoparticle inclusions and the unmodified‐TiO2 nanoparticles, were also investigated. The results showed the doubly modified‐TiO2 nanoparticles, compared to those of unmodified‐TiO2, had better nanoparticle dispersion causing improvement in the mechanical properties and UV shielding.  相似文献

In this paper, post-buckling and nonlinear vibration analysis of geometrically imperfect beams made of functionally graded materials (FGMs) resting on nonlinear elastic foundation subjected to axial force are studied. The material properties of FGMs are assumed to be graded in the thickness direction according to a simple power law distribution in terms of the volume fractions of the constituents. The assumptions of a small strain and moderate deformation are used. Based on Euler–Bernoulli beam theory and von-Karman geometric nonlinearity, the integral partial differential equation of motion is derived. Then this partial differential equation (PDE) problem, which has quadratic and cubic nonlinearities, is simplified into an ordinary differential equation (ODE) problem by using the Galerkin method. Finally, the governing equation is solved analytically using the variational iteration method (VIM). Some new results for the nonlinear natural frequencies and buckling load of the imperfect functionally graded (FG) beams such as the effects of vibration amplitude, elastic coefficients of foundation, axial force, end supports and material inhomogeneity are presented for future references. Results show that the imperfection has a significant effect on the post-buckling and vibration response of FG beams.  相似文献

A double migratory cascade reaction of α-halogen-substituted propargylic phosphates to produce highly functionalized 1,3-dienes has been developed. This transformation features 1,3-phosphatyloxy group migration followed by 1,3-shifts of bromine and chlorine as well as the unprecedented 1,3-migration of iodine. The reaction is stereodivergent: (Z)-1,3-dienes are formed in the presence of a copper catalyst, whereas gold-catalyzed reactions exhibit inverted stereoselectivity, producing the corresponding E products.  相似文献

The propagation of electromagnetic waves in an unmagnetized weakly inhomogeneous cold plasma is examined. We show that the inhomogeneity induces a gauge connection term in wave equation, which gives rise to Berry effects in the dynamics of polarized rays in the post geometric optics approximation. The polarization plane of a plane polarized ray rotates as a result of the geometric Berry phase, which is the Rytov rotation. Also, the Berry curvature causes the optical Hall effect, according to which, rays of left/right circular polarization deflect oppositely to produce a spin current directed across the direction of propagation.  相似文献

Thermo-mechanical analysis of functionally graded hollow sphere subjected to mechanical loads and one-dimensional steady-state thermal stresses is carried out in this study. The material properties are assumed to vary non-linearly in the radial direction, and the Poisson’s ratio is assumed constant. The temperature distribution is assumed to be a function of radius, with general thermal and mechanical boundary conditions on the inside and outside surfaces of the sphere. In the analysis presented here, the effect of non-homogeneity in FGM thick sphere was implemented by choosing a dimensionless parameter, named β i (i = 1, . . . , 3), which could be assigned an arbitrary value affecting the stresses in the sphere. It is observed that the solution process for β i (i = 3) = −1 are different from those obtained for other values of β i (i = 1, . . . , 3). Cases of pressure, temperature, and combined loadings were considered separately. It is concluded that by changing the value of β i (i = 1 . . . 3), the properties of FGM can be so modified that the lowest stress levels are reached. The present results agree well with existing results. Using FEM simulations, the analytical findings for FGM spheres under the influence of internal pressure and temperature gradient were compared to finite element results.  相似文献

We study the polarization transport of transverse phonons by adopting a new approach based on the quantum mechanics of spin-orbit interactions. This approach has the advantage of being apt for incorporating fluctuations in the system. The formalism gives rise to Berry effect terms manifested as the Rytov polarization rotation law and the polarization-dependent Hall effect. We derive the distribution of the Rytov rotation angle in the presence of thermal noise and show that the rotation angle is robust against fluctuations.  相似文献
