Unprecedented double C-C bond cleavage of a cyclopentadienyl ligand

Double C-C bond cleavage of a cyclopentadienyl ligand proceeded to titanacyclopentadienes when 2 equiv of nitriles were added and the resulting two-carbon unit and three-carbon unit were converted into a benzene derivative and a pyridine derivative, respectively, in one-pot.

In this paper we prove the following conjecture of Woodall^[1]: if bind (G)3/2, thenG contains a triangle. Moreover we also prove that if bind (G)3/2, then each vertex is contained in a 4-cycle, each edge is contained in a 5-cycle whenV(G)11, and there exists a 6-cycle inG.     

Continuous flow and flow injection stripping voltammetric determination of silver(I), mercury(II), and bismuth(III) at a bulk modified graphite tube electrode

The epoxy-impregnated graphite tube electrode bulk modified with 2-mercaptobenzoxazole, employed in a wall-jet configuration, was found to be useful for the continuous flow and flow injection stripping voltammetric determinations of Ag^I, Hg^II and Bi^III. For continuous flow, detection limits for Ag^I, Hg^II and Bi^III were 1.8 × 10⁻¹⁰ M, 1.9 × 10⁻⁹ M and 9.5 × 10⁻⁹ M, respectively (10 min accumulation, S/N = 3). Precisions for 5.00 × 10⁻⁹ M Ag^I, 1.00 × 10⁻⁸ M Hg^II and 1.00 × 10⁻⁷ M Bi^III were 10.5%, 5.77 % and 7.90% (relative standard deviations, n = 6), respectively. In the case of flow injection stripping, with a 500 μL injection loop, detection limits of 0.59 ng, 2.0 ng and 120 ng were obtained for Ag^I, Hg^II and Bi^III, respectively (S/N = 3). Selected metal ions, inorganic and organic substances were investigated for interferences. The electrode was tested with a certified sample and then applied to the determinations of the metal ions in a urine and a sea-water sample.

The reductive alkylation of amine with carbonyl compounds usingsodium hydrogen telluride has been investigated in recent years.Application of this method to the synthesis of N-alkyl derivativesof biologically important amino acids and their esters is described.     

Study of the alkylation behaviors of antitumor agents to DNA using a quartz crystal resonator in PEG-DNA solution

 The alkylation of DNA by antitumor agents such as mechlorethamine hydrochloride (mustargen), thiophosphoramide (TSPA), mitomycin c (MMC), bleomycin-A₅ and dacarbazine (DTIC) can be detected with quartz crystal resonators (QCR). In the course of alkylation, the resonator frequency change in polyethylene glycol (PEG)-DNA solutions follows the cross-linking of DNA and the cleavage of the sugarphosphate backbone of DNA. It is at least partly attributed to the viscosity change of the PEG-DNA solution and possibly to some extent to the change of mass adsorbed on the QCR surface due to cross-linking and cleavage. Two noncentrosymmetric complexes: [W(CO)4(bipy)] and [W(CO)4(phen)](bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) obtained through solvothermal synthesis and their optical properties

Solvothermal treatments of W(CO)₆ with 2,2′-bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline give [W(CO)₄(bipy)] (1) and [W(CO)₄(phen)] (2), respectively, which both crystallize in noncentrosymmetric space groups, suggesting that they meet the requirement of second harmonic generation (SHG) investigations. The preliminary experiment indicates that they are SHG active, and approximately estimated to be that of urea.     

Novel preparation of organic polymer-based monolithic column by microwave irradation

Microwave irradiation was firstly attempted for the preparation of organic-based monoliths of poly（styrene-divinylbenzene- methacrylic acid）, which single step in situ polymerization was carried out during 15 min. The colunm permeability, electrophoretic and chromatographac behaviors were comparatively evaluated using pressure-assisted CEC, GEC and low pressure-driven separation modes. The largest theoretical plates for the preparing column could be close to 18,0000 plates/m for thiourea in the mode of p-CEC. It provided a viable alternative to traditional initiation means for the perparation of monolithic capillary columns.

高负载率纳米Pt-Ru/C催化剂的制备和表征

以Vulcan XC-72R碳黑为载体, 通过在含十二烷基硫酸钠(SDS)的乙二醇溶液中直接还原氯铂酸和三氯化钌, 制备了负载率为60%的纳米PtRu/C催化剂. 透射电镜(TEM)和X射线衍射(XRD)分析结果表明, SDS的加入可显著改善PtRu纳米颗粒在载体表面分散性, 平均粒径达到2.7 nm. 电化学循环伏安法(CV)测试的结果显示, 利用这种方法制备的纳米PtRu/C催化剂对于甲醇氧化具有较强的抗中毒能力和较高的电催化活性.     

飞行时间型质量分析器(TOFMS)的研制及应用

自行研制了电子碰撞离子化的飞行时间型质量分析器（ＴＯＦＭＳ），用于物质的化学分析。用研制的ＴＯＦＭＳ测量了Ａｒ离子化的飞行时间谱和离子的部分电离截面积比与碰撞电子能量的依赖关系，将它与Ｓｔｅｐｓｈａｎ等人的实验结果进行了比较。
