Single crystal X-ray analysis of compounds H2pmdc.2H2O (1), KHpmdc (2), and K2pmdc (3) shows that the pyrimidine-4,6-dicarboxylate (pmdc) dianion presents an almost planar geometry which confers a potential capability to act as a bis-bidentate bridging ligand, and therefore, to construct 1-D metal complexes. Based on this assumption, we have designed the first six transition metal complexes based on this ligand of formula {[M(micro-pmdc)(H2O)2].H2O}n [M(II) = Fe (4), Co (5), Ni (6), Zn (7), Cu (8)] and {[Cu(micro-pmdc)(dpa)].4H2O}n (9) (dpa = 2,2'-dipyridylamine). The crystal structure of all of these complexes has been determined by single crystal X-ray measurements, except for compound whose X-ray powder diffraction pattern reveals that it is isostructural to compounds 4-7. The bis-chelating pmdc ligand bridges sequentially octahedrally coordinated M(II) centres leading to polymeric chains. The hexacoordination of the metal centres is completed by two water molecules in compounds 4-8 and by the two endocyclic-N atoms of a terminal dpa ligand in compound . Cryomagnetic susceptibility measurements show the occurrence of antiferromagnetic intrachain interactions for compounds and (J = -2.5 (4), -5.2 (6), -32.7 (8), and -0.9 (9) cm(-1)). Model calculations and analyses of the available experimental data have been used to examine the influence of several factors on the nature and magnitude of the magnetic coupling constants in pyrimidine bridged complexes, showing that metal deviation from the pyrimidine mean plane could lead to ferromagnetic behaviour.  相似文献

Summary Simulation can be defined as a numerical technique for conducting experiments on a digital computer, which involves certain types of mathematical and logical models that describe the behaviour of a system over extended periods of real time. Simulation is, in a wide sense, a technique for performing sampling experiments on a model of the system. Stochastic simulation implies experimenting with the model over time including sampling stochastic variates from probability distributions. This paper describes the main concepts of the application of Stochastic Simulation and Monte Carlo methods to the analysis of the operation of electric energy systems, in particular to hydro-thermal generating systems. These techniques can take into account virtually all contingencies inherent in the operation of the system. Also, the operating policies that have an important effect on the performance of these systems can be realistically represented.  相似文献

This paper deals with the estimation, under sampling in two successive occasions, of a finite population quantile. For this sampling design a class of estimators is proposed whose the ratio and difference estimators are particular cases. Asymptotic variance formulae are derived for the proposed estimators, and the optimal matching fraction is discussed. We define the notion of a geometric graph in . This is a graph drawn in with its vertices drawn as points and its edges as straight line segments connecting corresponding points. We call two disjoint edges of G strongly avoiding if there exists an orthogonal projection of to a two dimensional plane H such that the projections of the two edges on H are contained in two different rays, respectively, with a common apex that create a non-acute angle. We show that a geometric graph on n vertices in with no pair of strongly avoiding edges has at most 2n − 2 edges. As a consequence we get a new proof to Vázsonyi’s conjecture about the maximum number of diameters in a set of n points in .
