The inelastic leptoproduction of heavy resonances J (J = J/ψ, Ψ,…) is investigated in a model where γvg → Jg is assumed to be the dominant mechanism. Analytic expressions for the differential cross section as well as for the helicity amplitudes are presented. A detailed numerical analysis of the angular distribution of the muon pair arising from the decay of the heavy resonance in its rest frame is presented.  相似文献

We demonstrate the generation of up to the 63rd harmonic (lambda = 12.6 nm) of a Ti:sapphire laser pulse (150 fs, 10 mJ), using a prepulse- (210-ps,24-mJ) produced boron plasma as the nonlinear medium. The influence of various parameters on the harmonic conversion efficiency was analyzed. The steep decrease in intensity for low-order harmonics (up to 19th order) was followed by a plateau. Typical conversion efficiencies were evaluated to be 10(-4) (for a 3rd harmonic) to 10(-7) (within the plateau region). Harmonic generation appeared to be efficient for the plasma that comprised neutral atoms and singly ionized boron.  相似文献

The nonameric porphyrin assemblies constructed with the series of free base tetraphenylporphyrins Pn having four pyrazine moieties linked with alkyl chains of different lengths, (CH2)n (n = 1, 5, 9, 17, 30), and dimeric [meso-tetrakis(2-carboxy-4-nonylphenyl)porphyrinato]zinc(II), ZnP2, show the effective light-collection effect and the typical Forster-type energy transfer from ZnP2 to Pn.  相似文献

The saturated nonlinear absorption and Kerr nonlinearities of an aqueous pseudoisocyanine solution are investigated at the wavelengths of 532 and 529 nm with the use of pulsed laser radiation of different duration (8 ns and 475 fs). The measured values of the nonlinear refractive indices amount to ?6×10?12 (t=8 ns) and ?8×10?14 cm2W?1 (t=475 fs). The change in self-action effects in pseudoisocyanine from self-defocusing to self-focusing revealed in the case of increasing intensity of femtosecond laser pulses is attributed to the effect of a fifth-order nonlinear optical process. The nonlinear refractive index responsible for this process amounts to 4×10?24 cm4 W?2. The imaginary part of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility, responsible for the induced transparency of the pseudoisocyanine solution, is Imχ (3)=?2×10?12 esu. Temporal changes in the shape of nanosecond laser pulses due to the nonlinear refraction induced by a thermal process are analyzed.  相似文献

Large nonlinear phase shifts were generated with femtosecond pulses at 1560 nm through cascaded quadratic interactions in periodically poled MgO-doped LiNbO3. The off-diagonal component of the nonlinear coefficient was utilized for simultaneous quasi phase matching and group-velocity matching. The effective nonlinear refractive index was varied from -2.9 x 10(-14) to +3.3 x 10(-14) cm2/W by tuning the phase-mismatch conditions.  相似文献

The results of a study of the generation of harmonics from a laser plasma resulting from the interaction of radiation of femtosecond duration (λ=1.06 μm, t=475 fs, and I~2×1017 W cm?2) with aluminum targets are presented. The observed frequency shift of harmonics to the short-wavelength region (1.6 and 5.1 nm for the second and fifth harmonics, respectively) is determined by a collisionless absorption resulting from an anomalous skin effect. The efficiencies of conversion into the second and fifth harmonics in an s-polarized pumping field were lower than the conversion efficiencies in a p-polarized pumping field by a factor of eight and a factor of two, respectively (for intensities I<1017 W cm?2). With a further increase in the pumping intensity, these values decreased to 0.8 and 0.5, respectively. The mechanisms of such behavior of the conversion process are considered.  相似文献

Invariance principle states that a scaled simple random walk converges to the standard Brownian motion.In this article, we present a discrete time stochastic process, which reflects a microstructure of market dynamics, and prove a convergence to a scaling limit process with a drift term and a jump term. These terms are derived from a macroscopic condition on volumes traded in some time intervals. The mathematical tools for obtaining our results are Dobrushin-Hryniv theory and the method of cluster expansion developed in mathematical studies of statistical mechanics.  相似文献

A soft X-ray appearance potential spectroscopy (SXAPS) apparatus with high sensitivity was built to measure non-derivative spectra. SXAPS spectra (non-derivative) of Ti 2p and O 1s for TiO2(1 1 0)-1 × 2 and (0 0 1)-1 × 1 surfaces have been measured using low incident currents (about 10 μA/cm2) and a photon counting mode. Density of empty states on Ti and O sites are deduced by self-deconvoluting the spectra. The self-deconvoluted SXAPS spectra are qualitatively similar to those measured by X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). The Ti 2p3/2 spectrum shows two strong peaks which correspond to t2g and eg states. For the O 1s spectrum two strong peaks near the threshold are also found which can be ascribed to O 2pπ and O 2pσ states. These results suggest that the spectra almost obey the dipole selection rule, so-called the “approximate dipole selection rule”. The SXAPS spectra of Ti 2p and O 1s for the (1 1 0) and (0 0 1) surfaces resemble qualitatively, which is consistent with the XAS results. The spectra measured on the (1 1 0)-1 × 2 surface at an incident angle of 45° off normal to the surface and on the (1 1 0) surface sputtered by Ar ions indicate that SXAPS is very sensitive to the surface electronic states.  相似文献

Acoustic cavitation generates transient microbubbles with extremely high temperatures and high pressures, which can provide unique reaction routes. The maximum bubble temperature attained is widely known to be dependent on the polytropic index and thermal conductivity of the dissolved gas. Here, we show for the first time experimental evidence that the bubble temperature induced by a high frequency ultrasound is almost the same among different rare gases and the chemical efficiency is in proportion to the gas solubility of rare gases, which would be closely related to the number of active bubbles.  相似文献
