In the nick(el) of time : Bis(μ‐oxo) dinickel(III) complexes 2 (see scheme), generated in the reaction of 1 with H2O2, are capable of hydroxylating the xylyl linker of the supporting ligand to give 3 . Kinetic studies reveal that hydroxylation proceeds by electrophilic aromatic substitution. The lower reactivity than the corresponding μ‐η22‐peroxo dicopper(II) complexes can be attributed to unfavorable entropy effects.

Tunable metamaterial operating in terahertz (THz) frequency range based on dielectric cubic particles with deposited conducting resonant strip was investigated. The frequency of the first magnetic type Mie resonance depends on the electric length of the strip. It can be changed under photoexcitation or applied voltage. The presented work deals with synthesis and isolation of constitutional isomers of triazolo-fused azaphthalocyanines. Distribution of the isomers did not follow the statistical calculations due to steric effects of the substituents preferring the least sterically stressed C(4h) isomer.  相似文献

BaO–SiO2:Eu2+ phosphors with different Ba/Si mole ratio were prepared using a solid-state reaction method, and their crystal structure dependent-photoluminescence properties were investigated. The prepared phosphor powders were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field-emission electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and fluorescence spectroscopy. The emission band of the Eu2+ activator varied from orange to blue with varying crystal structure of the host materials, which was related to the crystal field splitting of the Eu 5d orbitals. These emission color changes were examined by calculating the electronic band structure properties such as the density of the state. Moreover, the host material with Ba/Si=1 (BaSiO3) for Eu2+, which exhibited a yellow emission when excited with near UV light, was further characterized for enhancing its emission intensity.  相似文献

Adenosine mediates various physiological activities in the body. Adenosine receptors (ARs) are widely expressed in tumors and the tumor microenvironment (TME), and they induce tumor proliferation and suppress immune cell function. There are four types of human adenosine receptor (hARs): hA1, hA2A, hA2B, and hA3. Both hA1 and hA3 AR play an important role in tumor proliferation. We designed and synthesized novel 1,3,5-triazine derivatives through amination and Suzuki coupling, and evaluated them for binding affinities to each hAR subtype. Compounds 9a and 11b showed good binding affinity to both hA1 and hA3 AR, while 9c showed the highest binding affinity to hA1 AR. In this study, we discovered that 9c inhibits cell viability, leading to cell death in lung cancer cell lines. Flow cytometry analysis revealed that 9c caused an increase in intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) and a depolarization of the mitochondrial membrane potential. The binding mode of 1,3,5-triazine derivatives to hA1 and hA3 AR were predicted by a molecular docking study.  相似文献

High-resolution coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS) has been perfomed in hydrogen gas using a cw system. Accurate measurements of the Raman linewidths of the Q(0) through Q(3) transitions of molecular hydrogen have been made at pressures ranging from 0.75 to 40 atm at room temperature. The pressure-broadening coefficients determined for these lines are important in analytic and diagnostic applications of CARS in high-pressure media.  相似文献

Isobaric heat capacities C p in the liquid phase of dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, and benzyl butyl phthalate were measured by commercial SETARAM heat conduction calorimeters. Results obtained cover the following temperature range: dimethyl phthalate 283 to 323 K, diethyl phthalate 306 to 370 K, dibutyl phthalate 313 to 447 K, bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate from 313 to 462 K, benzyl butyl phthalate from 313 to 383 K. The heat capacity data obtained in this work were merged with available experimental data from literature, critically assessed and sets of recommended data were developed by correlating selected data as a function of temperature. [reaction: see text] The anion radicals of certain bis(enones), generated by cathodic reduction, are observed to participate in intramolecular cyclobutanation, yielding bicyclo[3.2.0]heptane derivatives through an anion radical chain mechanism. Evidence for stepwise cycloaddition involving distonic anion radical intermediates is presented. In addition to the novel anion radical cyclobutanations, an unprecedented intramolecular anion radical Diels-Alder product is observed. Parallel trends in substrate scope vis-à-vis the Co-catalyzed bis(enone) cyclobutanation are discussed.  相似文献

Various spirooxindoles bearing 2,3-(or 2,5-)dihydrothiophene-2-thione moiety have been synthesized via [3+2] annulation reaction of carbon disulfide and the nitrogen ylides derived from Morita-Baylis-Hillman carbonates of isatins. 2,3-Dihydro- and 2,5-dihydrothiophene-2-thione moieties were formed selectively depending on steric hindrance around the nitrogen ylides.  相似文献

New low‐temperature curable organic/inorganic hybrid polymers were designed and synthesized as gate dielectrics for organic thin‐film transistors (OTFTs). Allyl alcohols were introduced to polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) via hydrosilyation to produce an alcohol‐functionalized POSS derivative (POSS‐OH). POSS‐OH was then reacted with hexamethoxymethylmelamine at carrying molar ratios at 80 °C in the presence of a catalytic amount of p‐toluenesulfonic acid to give highly cross‐linked network polymers (POSS‐MM). The prepared thin films were smooth and hard after the thermal cross‐linking reaction and had very low leakage currents (<10?8 A/cm2) with no significant absorption over the visible spectral range. Pentacene‐based OTFTs using the synthesized insulators as gate dielectric layers had higher hole mobilities (up to 0.36 cm2/Vs) than a device using thermally cross‐linked poly(vinyl phenol) and melamine as the gate dielectric layer (0.18 cm2/Vs). © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
