Fosfomycin is a gram positive and gram negative antibiotic that contains an asymmetric epoxide. An enzyme library was screened for its ability to reduce dimethyl(1-chloro-2-oxopropyl)phosphonate to the corresponding asymmetric chlorohydrin. Homology models were built in MOE, which were shown to accurately model the enzyme–substrate complex displaying the stereoselectivity that we observed. Two enzymes, YDR368w and YHR104w, were chosen for the scale up and synthesis of fosfomycin and its trans-(1S,2S)-diastereomer. 相似文献

In this study, the kinetics of thiophene (TH) hydrodesulfurization (HDS) over the Mo–Co–Ni-supported catalyst was investigated. Trimetallic catalyst was synthesized by pore volume impregnation and the metal loadings were 11.5 wt % Mo, 2 wt % Co, and 2 wt % Ni. A large surface area of 243 m2/g and a relatively large pore volume of 0.34 cm3/g for the fresh Mo–Co–Ni-supported catalyst indicate a good accessibility to the catalytic centers for the HDS reaction. The acid strength distribution of the fresh and spent catalysts, as well as for the support, was determined by thermal desorption of diethylamine (DEA) with increase in temperature from 20 to 600 °C. The weak acid centers are obtained within a temperature range between 160 and 300 °C, followed by medium acid sites up to 440 °C. The strong acid centers are revealed above 440 °C. We found a higher content of weak acid centers for fresh and spent catalysts as well as alumina as compared to medium and strong acid sites. The catalyst stability in terms of conversion as a function of time on stream in a fixed bed flow reactor was examined and almost no loss in the catalyst activity was observed. Consequently, this fact demonstrated superior activity of the Mo–Co–Ni-based catalyst for TH HDS. The activity tests by varying the temperature from 200 to 275 °C and pressure from 30 to 60 bar with various space velocities of 1–4 h?1 were investigated. A Langmuir–Hinshelwood model was used to analyze the kinetic data and to derive activation energy and adsorption parameters for TH HDS. The effect of temperature, pressure, and liquid hourly space velocity on the TH HDS activity was studied. 相似文献

Several O-and N-linked inositols and/or aminoinositols have been prepared by iterative opening of epoxides and aziridines derived from homochiral cyclohexadiene cis-diols. The three inositols and their intermediate conduritols (conduramines) were tested against several glycosidases (alpha- and beta-glucosidase, alpha- and beta-galactosidase, alpha- and beta-mannosidase) in an assay that measured the rate of hydrolysis of p-nitrophenolglycosides rather than the concentration of p-nitrophenolate. Somewhat surprisingly, the best inhibition was seen against beta-galactosidase with several of the compounds. The inositols linked through oxygen or nitrogen were subjected to calcium binding studies performed in NMR experiments. Detailed analysis of the title compounds by NMR spectroscopy has been performed, and full assignments were made. One of the attendant benefits of the preparation of these compounds has been expressed in the design and synthesis of new salen catalysts whose effectiveness has been compared with Jacobsen's catalyst in the epoxidation of styrene. 相似文献

With the purpose to obtain novel photoconductive organic materials with improved complex of physical–mechanical properties and high sensitivity value, the possibility of N-vinylcarbazole copolymerization with higher alkenes was studied.The deposited films were 1.0–2.0 pm thin after drying in vacuum. The photosensitivity of the copolymer films is one order of magnitude greater than other carbazole containing copolymers. The investigation of spectral sensitivity was realized. Photosensitivity reaches its maximal value in 400–800 nm wave band.A photothermoplastic information registration medium was developed using synthesized copolymers. On the prepared photothermoplastic film, were recorded diffraction gratings with diffractional efficiency of 8–10% and resolution of 1000 mm−1, using electrophotographic method. Photographical sensitivity of obtained films allows real time (1–3 s) photographical and holographic image recording. 相似文献
