Two new indole derivatives have been synthesized by a one-pot procedure and their potential as fluorescence probes for metal ions was investigated. The sensor capability of 1 and 2 toward cations such as Ag+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Pb2+, and Hg2− was studied in dichloromethane solution by absorption, fluorescence emission, and 1H NMR titrations. Both probes showed selectivity for Ag+ and Hg2+ ions. The results suggest that these compounds may serve as promising models for future design of novel and more potent sensors.  相似文献

Stable mesoporous membranes with a cubic structure, based on the MCM-48 material, were successfully prepared on alumina supports by hydrothermal synthesis, starting from sols having both CTABr and TPAOH structure directing agents. The inclusion of a zeolite (MFI-type) precursor during membrane synthesis led to partial zeolite incorporation into the porous structure, giving rise to a hydrothermally stable membrane. The mean pore diameter of the membrane was 2.5 nm, and permeation experiments confirmed that transport across the membrane was governed by Knudsen diffusion and that there were no pinholes.  相似文献

Adsorption equilibrium of fructose, glucose and sucrose was evaluated on sulfonated poly(styrene-co-divinylbenzene) cation-exchange resins. Two types of resins were used: potassium (K+) gel-type and sodium (Na+) macroporous resins. Influence of the cation and effect of the resin structure on adsorption were studied. The adsorption isotherms were determined by the static method in batch mode for mono-component and multi-component sugar mixtures, at 25 and 40 °C, in a range of concentrations between 5 and 250 g L−1. All adsorption isotherms were fitted by a linear model in this range of concentrations. Sugars were adsorbed in both resins by the following order: fructose > glucose > sucrose. Sucrose was more adsorbed in the Na+ macroporous resin, glucose was identically adsorbed, and fructose was more adsorbed in the K+ gel-type resin. Data obtained from the adsorption of multi-component mixtures as compared to the mono-component ones showed a competitive effect on the adsorption at 25 °C, and a synergetic effect at 40 °C. The temperature increase conducted to a decrease on the adsorption capacity for mono-component sugar mixtures, and to an increase for the multi-component mixtures. Based on the selectivity results, K+ gel-type resin seems to be the best choice for the separation of fructose, glucose and sucrose, at 25 °C.  相似文献

The synthesis of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) homopolymers and poly(vinyl chloride)-b-poly(hydroxypropyl acrylate)-b-poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-b-PHPA-b-PVC) block copolymers via a single electron - degenerative transfer mediated living radical polymerisation was carried out on a pilot scale in industrial facilities. The thermal stability of the products was assessed conductimetrically. The block copolymers, that contained a low content of PHPA (below 12 wt.%), showed thermal stability that was approximately three times greater than that of conventional PVC. Inverse gas chromatography study of the copolymers surface showed that there was a decrease in the dispersive component and greater Lewis acidity and basicity constants were observed relative to those of PVC. The thermal stabilisation of PVC when in the presence of PHPA is explained by the interactions between its functional groups and the structures formed during the thermal degradation. The thermal stability and the surface properties of PVC-b-PHPA-b-PVC were strongly dependent on the molecular weight of the block copolymer. Lewis acid-base interaction parameters were determined and are interpreted as evidence of the PVC-b-PHPA-b-PVC compatibilising function in PVC-wood flour composites.  相似文献

The determination of glucose and other carbohydrates is the most widespread chemical analysis that is performed within the industries of food, beverage, forage, biomass, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals among others. Besides that, sugar refineries need to control their products, by‐products and effluents, and furthermore, glucose in the sucrose refining process, is considered an impurity, which shall be controlled. Being HPLC the most currently instrumental technique used for glucose analysis, the evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD) offers advantages (sensitivity, possibility for operating in gradient mode) over the also used refractive index detector. In this work, an HPLC‐ELSD methodology was optimised and validated, aiming the estimate of the uncertainty associated with the results at low levels of concentration of glucose to be measured. Linearity of the response was obtained in the range of glucose concentrations from 20 to 300 mg/L, with an analysis time of 10 min. The global uncertainty was estimated accordingly to the bottom‐up approach used by Eurachem. It was 13% on average for concentrations from 100 to 300 mg/L. For lower concentrations, uncertainty increased significantly up to 30% in the vicinity of the LOD of the method.  相似文献

Bis-cage-annulated 18-crown-6 and 20-crown-6 macrocyclic ethers (i.e., 1 and 2, respectively) have been synthesized, and their alkali metal picrate extraction profiles have been determined. Host system 1 proved to be a significantly more avid alkali metal cation complexant than 2 and somewhat more avid than 18-crown-6. Both 1 and 18-crown-6 display modest selectivity toward K+ and Rb+. A stable host–guest complex was prepared by slow evaporation of a CH2Cl2–hexane solution of an equimolar mixture of 2 and potassium picrate. The X-ray crystal structure of this complex reveals that picrate anion functions as a bidentate ligand therein. The gas-phase interaction energy between the 2 K+ complex and picrate anion was calculated to be ca. –64.9 kcal mol–1, thereby indicating that participation of picrate anion as an additional bidentate ligand results in significant stabilization of complex 10.  相似文献

Density functional theory (DFT) calculations with different exchange‐correlation functionals were performed for a mixed valence Fe(II)/Fe(III) binuclear complex with μ‐methoxo and two μ‐carboxylate bridging ligands, (1) with geometry optimizations being performed for all possible spin multiplicities (MS = 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10). Within the exchange‐correlation functionals studied, only the hybrid GGA functionals B3P and B3LYP and also the pure GGA functional RPBE, predicts the geometry with high spin (S = 9/2) to be more stable than the geometry with low spin state (S = 1/2) by 20 kcal/mol, in agreement with the experimental findings. These functionals also predict the same stability order for the different spin states, being MS = 10>8>6>2>4. The meta‐GGA functionals TPSS and TPSSh and also the pure GGA functionals BLYP and BP86 predict different stability orders. The computed average EPR g‐tensor, gav, of 2.03, at the B3LYP level, is in good agreement with the experimental findings. Heisenberg exchange coupling constants, J, were calculated within the broken‐symmetry formalism, at the B3LYP level, showing that the two iron centers are antiferromagnetic coupling, with a very weak coupling constant of about ?7 cm?1, in good agreement with the experimental value. Methylsilicone resin as a polymer precursor for a SiOC ceramic material was cured and foamed by electron beam (EB) irradiation in air prior to the pyrolysis under an inert atmosphere. Methylsilicone foams were obtained without additional foaming agent when exposed to accelerated electrons with radiation doses up to 9 MGy and dose rate of 2.8 kGy/s. During irradiation the polymer was melted and simultaneously gaseous products were formed by the methyl group oxidation and by the poly-condensation crosslinking reactions. The formed gases could not escape from the molten polymer and began to aggregate into bubbles. The effect of the radiation dose on the polymer foam molecular structure, the gel fraction and the ceramic yield was analyzed. The results indicate that the maximum amount of crosslinking in methylsilicone, when EB radiation is used, occurred between 1.0 and 2.0 MGy radiation dose. Methylsilicone foams were pyrolysed in N2 atmosphere at temperatures of 1200 and 1500 °C, resulting in amorphous SiOC and partially crystalline ceramic foams, respectively. A porosity of ~84% was achieved in the pyrolyzed foams, with cell size ranging from 30 to 300 μm and density of about 0.31 g cm?3.  相似文献
