Summary The investigation methods of the action of xenobiotics on sterol biosynthesis from 14C-acetate in rat hepatocyte cultures can be developed, with regard to extraction using Extrelut and the separation of the sterol pattern by thin-layer chromatography, in such a way that they are suitable for wider application, e.g., screening. Good visualisation and recognition of changes in the sterol pattern are possible using autoradiography of the thin-layer chromatogram.

Eight emission spectra of pure N2O and N2O + N2 + He mixtures excited by a radio frequency discharge were recorded by Fourier Transform Spectroscopy at a resolution of 0.005 and 0.004 cm−1 in the 4.5 μm region. Results (wavenumbers, band centers, and spectroscopic constants) concerning nine new vibrational transitions which have not been observed before, and which occur between highly excited levels of the bending mode are reported. The derived spectroscopic parameters allow us to reproduce the experimental wavenumbers with an RMS error lower than 4.5 × 10−4 cm−1. 相似文献

The crystal structure of a novel ferrocene derivative with potential flame-retardant/smoke-suppressant activity, 1,4,5,6,7,7-hexachloro-2-endo-ferrocenyl-hydroxymethyl-3-endo-hydroxymethyl-5-norbornene, has been determined. Some of the carbon–carbon bonds within the chlorendic residue are unusually long, and there is no interaction between the hydroxyl groups and the iron atom. Azobenzene‐modified polyesters and poly(ester amide)s fitted with chiral, atropisomeric binaphthylene segments were prepared by a series of low‐temperature polycondensation reactions carried out in polar solvent media. When compared with their polyaramide counterparts studied earlier, these materials had significantly improved solubility behaviors and were readily dissolved by a wide range of organic solvents. In solution, each of these constructs underwent photoinduced oscillations in optical rotatory power when subjected to multiple UV‐light/visible‐light illumination cycles that drove trans?cis isomerization reactions along their polymer chains. Light‐regulated chiroptical perturbations were dependent on polymer backbone structures and were further modulated by well‐coordinated temperature fluctuations and by the nature of the solvent medium employed. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of sulfonated poly(aryl ether ether ketone ketone)s statistical copolymers with high molecular weights were synthesized via an aromatic nucleophilic substitution polymerization. The sulfonation content (SC), defined as the number of sulfonic acid groups contained in an average repeat unit, could be controlled by the feed ratios of monomers. Flexible and strong membranes in sodium sulfonate form could be prepared by the solution casting method, and readily transformed to their proton forms by treating them in 2 N sulfuric acid. The polymers showed high Tgs, which increased with an increase in SC. Membranes prepared from the present sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone ketone) copolymers containing the hexafluoroisopropylidene moiety (SPEEKK‐6F) and copolymers containing the pendant 3,5‐ditrifluoromethylphenyl moiety (SPEEKK‐6FP) had lower water uptakes and lower swelling ratios in comparison with previously prepared copolymers containing 6F units. All of the polymers possessed proton conductivities higher than 1 × 10?2 S/cm at room temperature, and proton conductivity values of several polymers were comparable to that of Nafion at high relative humidity.
