Oxidative coupling of methane over （Na2WO4＋Mn or Ce）/SiO2 catalysts： In situ measurement of electrical conductivity

The effects of manganese oxide or ceria promoters on the performance of Na2WO4/SiO2 catalysts for oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) are reported. The OCM reaction was performed in a continuous-flow microreactor at 800 ℃, atmospheric pressure and under GHSV = 13200 ml gC-1at h-1. Highly selective transport of silver ion through a supported liquid membrane using calix[4]pyrroles as suitable ion carriers

Facilitated transport of silver ion across a supported liquid membrane (SLM) by calix[4]pyrroles, as selective ion carriers, dissolved in kerosene has been investigated. The influences of fundamental parameters affecting the transport of silver ion including ion carrier concentration in the membrane phase, thiosulfate concentration in strip phase, picric acid concentration in the feed phase, stirring speed of aqueous phases, type of membrane solvent and time of transport have been studied. In the presence of thiosulfate as a suitable metal ion acceptor in the strip phase and picrate ion as ion pairing agent in the source phase, transport of silver occurs almost quantitatively after 75 min. The selectivity and efficiency of silver transport from aqueous solution containing Cu²⁺, Mg²⁺, Ni²⁺, Ca²⁺, Zn²⁺, Pb²⁺, Co²⁺, Al³⁺, Hg²⁺, Cd²⁺, Fe³⁺, Fe²⁺ and Cr³⁺ were investigated.     

Novel isocyanide-based three-component one-pot synthesis of cyanophenylamino-acetamide derivatives

A one-pot multicomponent synthesis of a novel class of cyanophenylamino-acetamides through the conversion of primary amides to the corresponding nitriles, starting from simple and readily available inputs including 2-aminobenzamide, an aldehyde, and an isocyanide in the presence of p-toluenesulfonic acid as a catalyst, in excellent yields at room temperature in ethanol as a green reaction medium is described.     

Structural,theoretical and multinuclear NMR study of mercury(II) complexes of phosphorus ylides: Mono and binuclear complexes

Reaction of phosphorus ylide Ph₃PCHC(O)C₆H₄Cl (Y₁) with HgX₂ (X = Cl, Br and I) and ylide (p-tolyl)₃PCHC(O)CH₃ (Y₂) with HgI₂ in equimolar ratios using methanol as solvent leads to binuclear products. The bridge-splitting reaction of binuclear complex [(Y₁) · HgCl₂]₂ by DMSO yields a mononuclear complex containing DMSO as ligand. O-coordination of DMSO is revealed by single crystal X-ray analysis in mononuclear complex of [(Y₁) · HgCl₂ · DMSO]. C-coordination of ylides is confirmed by X-ray structure of binuclear complex [(Y₂) · HgI₂]₂. Characterization of the obtained compounds was also performed by elemental analysis, IR, ¹H, ³¹P, and ¹³C NMR. Theoretical studies on mercury(II) complexes of Y₁ show that formation of mononuclear complexes in DMSO solution in which DMSO acts as a ligand, energetically is more favorable than that of binuclear complexes.
