A learning process for fuzzy control rules using genetic algorithms

The purpose of this paper is to present a genetic learning process for learning fuzzy control rules from examples. It is developed in three stages: the first one is a fuzzy rule genetic generating process based on a rule learning iterative approach, the second one combines two kinds of rules, experts rules if there are and the previously generated fuzzy control rules, removing the redundant fuzzy rules, and the thrid one is a tuning process for adjusting the membership functions of the fuzzy rules. The three components of the learning process are developed formulating suitable genetic algorithms.     

Solution of general ordinary differential equations using the algebraic theory approach

The algebraic theory for numerical methods, as developed by Herrera [3–7], provides a broad theoretical framework for the development and analysis of numerical approximations. To this point, the technique has only been applied to ordinary differential equations with constant coefficients. The present work extends the theory by developing a methodology for equations with variable coefficients. Approximation of the coefficients by piecewise polynomials forms the foundation of the approach. Analysis of the method provides firm error estimates. Furthermore, the analysis points to particular procedures that produce optimal accuracy. Example calculations illustrate the computational procedure and verify the theoretical convergence rates.     

MgB2/Fe带材Jc的各向异性及MgB2芯织构和成分不均一性的研究

本文研究了在不同磁场方向和温度下非原位Fe包套MgB2单芯带Jc的各向异性,通过对各种工艺条件下带材中MgB2芯的X-ray衍射图进行拟合分析和计算,比较了MgB2芯在Fe-MgB2界面和中心处的织构度和成份不均一性.研究发现带材Jc的各向异性受初始粉末颗粒尺寸的影响.由于受套管材料强度和形变加工工艺的影响,MgB2芯在Fe-MgB2界面处比在中心处有较强的织构.在MgB2-Fe的界面处,700℃淬火样品的X-ray衍射图中发现了由中间相Fe23B6生成的金属间化合物Fe2B.另外还研究了MgB4和MgO等主要杂质相的形成原因.     

Pre-relaxation Processes in a Radiating Relativistic Sphere

The influence of processes occurring before the system relaxes into diffusion, on the evolution of a radiating sphere, is exhibited in a specific example. The luminosity profiles, and consequently the general evolution of the object, are shown to be quite sensitive to the value of relaxation time.     

Letter: Active Gravitational Mass and the Invariant Characterization of Reissner–Nordström Spacetime

We analyse the concept of active gravitational mass for Reissner-Nordström spacetime in terms of scalar polynomial invariants and the Karlhede classification. We show that while the Kretschmann scalar does not produce the expected expression for the active gravitational mass, both scalar polynomial invariants formed from the Weyl tensor, and the Cartan scalars, do.

The reduction of various 2,3-ferroceno-1-indanones and 1,2-(α-oxotetramethylene)-methylcymantrenes by metal hydrides or Grignard reagents is stereo-specific, except for LiAlH₄, the observed stereoselectivity being in all uses more than 95%. The endo configuration of the dominant alcohol is established from TLC, IR, RMN and mass data. These criteria for the assignment of the structure of these alcohols are shown to be general.     

Reactions of collman complex with tin(IV) and germanium(IV) porphyris,formation of [tin(II) and germanium(II) porphyrins] tetracarbonyliron and crystal structure of [2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethylporphinato tin(II)] tetracarbonyliron

The action of Na₂Fe(CO)₄ with tin(IV) and germanium(IV) porphyrins affords metal(II) porphyrin complexes [(por)M(II)Fe(CO)₄] (por = porphyrinate, M - Sn(II) or Ge(II)). The molecular structure of [(oep)Sn(II)Fe(CO)₄] was solved by X-ray diffraction techniques. The molecular structure of [(oep)Sn(II)Fe(CO)₄] was solved by X-ray diffraction techniques : the Sn coordination is square pyramidal with the iron in axial position (Sn-Fe = 2.492(1)Å) whereas the Fe coordination is trigonal bipyramidal. Mössbauer parameters provide convincing evidence for the formal zero oxidation state of the iron atom.

2-Alkoxy-3-nitro-2H-chromenes have been obtained by the reaction of β-nitroacetaldehyde dialkyl acetals with some salicylic aldehydes in the presence of triethylamine p-toluene sulfonate.     

Enrichment of biologically active U1 small nuclear RNAs by ion-exchange high-performance liquid chromatography

The use of ion-exchange high-performance liquid chromatography in conjunction with preparative electrophoresis to facilitate the purification of biologically active snRNAs is described. Separation of total nuclear RNA from a Bombyx mori cell line was done with a Bio-Rad MA7 plasmid column in a HRLC 500 system. Individual fractions were subjected to electrophoresis through 14% polyacrylamide gels for identification. High levels of U1 RNA were confirmed by Northern analysis with a human U1 probe. Biological activity of RNAs from the column was demonstrated by their ability to incorporate 32P-AMP at the 3' end. Ion-exchange chromatography provides a rapid, automated method for purifying large amounts of RNAs that can then be utilized in further studies.
