Using 12.7 fb(-1) of data collected with the CLEO detector at CESR, we observed two-photon production of the cc states chi(c0) and chi(c2) in their decay to pi(+)pi(-)pi(+)pi(-). We measured gamma(gammagamma)(chi(c))xB(chi(c)-->pi(+)pi(-)pi(+)pi(-)) to be 75+/-13(stat)+/-8(syst) eV for the chi(c0) and 6.4+/-1.8(stat)+/-0.8(syst) eV for the chi(c2), implying gamma(gammagamma)(chi(c0)) = 3.76+/-0.65(stat)+/-0.41(syst)+/-1.69(br) keV and gamma(gammagamma)(chi(c2)) = 0.53+/-0.15(stat)+/-0.06(syst)+/-0.22(br) keV. Also, cancellation of dominant experimental and theoretical uncertainties permits a precise comparison of gamma(gammagamma)(chi(c0))/gamma(gammagamma)(chi(c2)), evaluated to be 7.4+/-2.4(stat)+/-0.5(syst)+/-0.9(br), with QCD-based predictions.  相似文献

Liquid-liquid(L-L)de-mixing and vitrification of solutions of either crystallizable poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA)or non-crystallizable poly(D/L-lactic acid)(PDLLA)with 50 m%N,N-diethyl-3-methylbenzamide(DEET)were analyzed by calorimetry and cloud-point measurements,which allows drawing conclusions about the effect of polymer stereochemistry on the phase behavior.Regardless of the PLA stereochemistry,vitrification of the solutions on fast cooling,hindering crystallization of PLLA,occurred below-20℃ and suppressed prior L-L de-mixing.The experimental results prove that crystallization in samples containing crystallizable PLLA,observed at around 55℃ on slow cooling,is not preceded by L-L de-mixing.  相似文献

Diazoacetonitrile (N2CHCN) is a small reactive diazoalkane. It has been synthesized for the first time already in 1898 by Theodor Curtius, however, did not gain much recognition in organic synthesis until recently. Only in 2015, after introduction of in situ and flow protocols for the safe generation of diazoacetonitrile, it started gaining popularity. We report on the mechanism of a series of Zn (II)-activated magnetic resonance contrast agents that modulate the access of water to a paramagnetic Gd (III) ion to create an increase in relaxivity upon binding of Zn (II). In the absence and presence of Zn (II), the coordination at the Gd (III) center is modulated by appended Zn (II) binding groups. These groups were systematically varied to optimize the change in coordination upon Zn (II) binding. We observe that at least one appended aminoacetate must be present as a coordinating group to bind Gd (III) and effectively inhibit access of water. At least two binding groups are required to efficiently bind Zn (II), creating an unsaturated complex and allowing access of water. (13)C isotopic labeling of the acetate binding groups for NMR spectroscopy provides evidence of a change in the metal coordination of these groups upon the addition of Zn (II) supporting our proposed mechanism of activation as presented.  相似文献

A photocatalytic self-(3+2) cycloaddition of vinyldiazo compounds is described, which provides cyclopentene derivatives with conservation of one diazo functional group. Experimental insights and density functional theory indicate that the reaction is triggered by an unusual single electron oxidation of vinyldiazo compounds, while the photolysis for the generation of free carbene species is not involved. The synthetic applications of the resulting cyclopentenyl α-diazo compounds were demonstrated based on the rich chemistry of the diazo functional group.  相似文献

Analysis of two previously described polymorphic Alu insertions (Sb19.3 and NBC3) in world-wide human populations generated genotypic frequencies grossly in violation of Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium expectations. GenBank searches at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) and sequencing analyses revealed that samples homozygous for the Sb19.3 Alu insertion amplify a band indistinguishable in size to the lack of insertion amplicon, corresponding to a paralogous locus on chromosome 4. This locus displays a very similar sequence (84%) to that flanking the Sb19.3 Alu insertion located at chromosome 19. Moreover, we have determined that NBC3, a different Alu insertion, is not located in the pseudoautosomal region of the Y-chromosome, as previously reported, but in position Yq11.2. Also, the band that mimics the lack of insertion amplicon corresponds to a paralogous locus located at chromosome X with a similarity of 92% to the sequence flanking the NBC3 Alu insertion. Finally, the utilization of newly designed primers avoided amplification from the paralogous loci and allowed a reliable assignation of genotypes for both loci. Unlike previously reported, using our new primers the Y-specific locus NBC3 was found not to be polymorphic in the populations analyzed.  相似文献

An on-line high-performance liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (HPLC/MS) method is described for the rapid characterization of any type of oligosaccharide released from glycoproteins. The procedure can be applied without further manipulation to fractions collected from a high-performance anion-exchange chromatography-pulse amperometric detection (HPAEC-PAD) system commonly used for glycosylation mapping of glycoproteins, or to a pool of oligosaccharides directly released from glycoproteins. The system consists of a porous graphitized high-performance chromatography column (Hypercarb) coupled to a quadrupole time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer. Oligosaccharides are eluted from the column with a gradient of ammonium acetate/acetonitrile and directly identified following in-source fragmentation. Some applications of the method are presented, as well as information about the spectra and fragmentation behavior observed for N- and O-linked oligosaccharides released from some recombinant glycoproteins. Low femtomole limits of detection are achieved using proper miniaturization.  相似文献
